Wow,i don't believe it this sea snail are eating small fish like a snake. That is the dangerous snail using proboscis tube to paralyze the prey with neurotoxin venom.
TheTaterTotP80 (3 months ago)
The fact that people were putting Fish in with these Snails just to see the Snail kill the Fish is disgusting and cruel. Natural cycles of life are one thing, sad but understandable and natural, this isn't. It's just death for entertainment.
Flarbargason (3 months ago)
This snail literally has a built in nail gun! It builds up poison in it’s proboscis and blocks off any before it touches the harpoon via a muscle valve, when it’s ready to shoot it opens that valve and the pressurized poison shot into the harpoon, propelling it and filling it at the same time.

This is a tank. This is not in the wild. In the wild aiptasia will be eaten by fishes that live in the wild. in a tank, it will not be eaten unless you place a fish that can eat aiptasia, but that fish will die, after eating all the aiptasia, only to find out six months later you have aiptasia again. They let out spores while being eaten in an aquarium, it never ends. While in the ocean, they are eaten and eaten by the their predators, since that is how they live. That is their circle of life.
Nicholas S (1 year ago)
Does this tank have aiptasia? If does, it is a bitch to get rid of. :(
LightWarrior (1 year ago)
Yeah...a neurotoxin that complex? Made up of more than 100 different toxins, and I'm supposed to believe that it arose from natural selection over millions of years? Uh, no. That's like saying a tornado can go through a junkyard and assemble an F-16 from the parts. Still, this documentary was fascinating and inspired me to cancel my scuba trip.

Here's the problem with the Biblical deity backing evolutionism. The Scriptures state that the Biblical deity is omniscient (knowing everything), omnipotent (all powerful), and that He has specific character attributes. He is loving, just, hates evil, is impartial (except for his love for those who obey His laws and disfavor towards those who don't) and is a perfect judge since he knows everything everyone has ever done, said, or thought about doing. The evolution theory relies on millions or billions of cases of trial and error, testing new adaptations that formed, weeding out the weak, those who's adaptations don't work, the strong survive while the weak die, it's not in line with his character. Why would a perfectly-knowing, all-powerful Creator decide to use a process which relies on death to bring forth life and advancement? Why wouldn't he just create everything perfectly from the start? Why would he waste his time over billions of years with countless flawed specimens, slowly perfecting them? Does that make any sense, does it match with the Scriptural characteristics of the deity it proclaims?
LightWarrior (1 year ago)
The problem is, human beings weren't around a million years ago, or even tens of thousands of years ago. There aren't any written records from that long ago. You don't KNOW that is what happened to create all the varieties of plants and animals we see today. You don't know which animals and plants had offspring, which ones didn't. You can't say one type of animal changed into a completely different kind over time. There are genetic limits to how far interbreeding and species crossing will change an animal or plant, and the kind of changes you would need for a fish to become an amphibian and amphibians to become land animals is not something that can be seen, tested, and observed today. YOU THEREFORE CANNOT SAY IT HAPPENED IN THE PAST. You certainly can't say that life originated from non-living material, that's never been observed by any human being. It's considered scientifically impossible. Louis Pasteur disproved abiogenesis and spontaneous generation in the 1800's. Without that, the theory of evolution and secular origin of life falls apart. The only option left is special creation and intelligent design, which of course the world is bent on refuting at all costs because human beings don't like accountability. The evolution theory is just that, a theory. It should not be taught as scientific fact, because the holes in it are just as fanciful as the Scriptural creation account. In order to believe in biological macroevolution, you have to have a woeful lack of understanding of the information system known as DNA. To create even the least complex of living cells, no less than 200 specific DNA proteins are required. And the 500 amino acids that make those proteins, have to be arranged in a very precise order for each one. To say that complexity of that level could originate by random chance unguided over billions or millions of years is beyond asinine. Guess what: Evolutionists have a deity too. It's called Time. You worship it and give it credit for producing everything around you, even though you never witnessed it do such things. And you defend it just as zealously as any religious follower. The Big Bang Theory is even worse, which is where your evolutionary timeline of Earth and the universe begins. You think that structures as complex and powerful, as well-organized as stars and the Earth could originate in a random explosion where every element in the Universe was present. Explosions don't create order. They create chaos. Explosions are destructive, not constructive. They have no intelligence. They can't build anything.
Andrew Mcilveen (1 year ago)
Just imagining 200 years is incomprehensible to people, why do you think you can deduce scientific evidence isn't true just because you don't understand timescales?

Well statistics would suggest land is much more dangerous. Humans live on land. When we die it's usually from disease. When it's not disease, death usually involves some kind of human innovation, like a car.

Actually most people are stung by this anywhere between land and knee deep water. Their shells are very pretty, and people pick them up to keep them, thinking they're empty. When they're not, people are stung and usually die since there's no antivenom. Same story with the blue ringed octopus. It's the size of a thumb, and is very pretty and often found in tidepools and people pick them up.
