Calculate running total in SQL Server 2012

06:23
running total sql server cumulative total in ms sql server running total column In this video we will discuss how to calculate running total in SQL Server 2012 and later versions. We will use the following Employees table for the examples in this video. SQL Script to create Employees table Create Table Employees ( Id int primary key, Name nvarchar(50), Gender nvarchar(10), Salary int ) Go Insert Into Employees Values (1, 'Mark', 'Male', 5000) Insert Into Employees Values (2, 'John', 'Male', 4500) Insert Into Employees Values (3, 'Pam', 'Female', 5500) Insert Into Employees Values (4, 'Sara', 'Female', 4000) Insert Into Employees Values (5, 'Todd', 'Male', 3500) Insert Into Employees Values (6, 'Mary', 'Female', 5000) Insert Into Employees Values (7, 'Ben', 'Male', 6500) Insert Into Employees Values (8, 'Jodi', 'Female', 7000) Insert Into Employees Values (9, 'Tom', 'Male', 5500) Insert Into Employees Values (10, 'Ron', 'Male', 5000) Go SQL Query to compute running total without partitions SELECT Name, Gender, Salary, SUM(Salary) OVER (ORDER BY ID) AS RunningTotal FROM Employees SQL Query to compute running total with partitions SELECT Name, Gender, Salary, SUM(Salary) OVER (PARTITION BY Gender ORDER BY ID) AS RunningTotal FROM Employees What happens if I use order by on Salary column If you have duplicate values in the Salary column, all the duplicate values will be added to the running total at once. In the example below notice that we have 5000 repeated 3 times. So 15000 (i.e 5000 + 5000 + 5000) is added to the running total at once. SELECT Name, Gender, Salary, SUM(Salary) OVER (ORDER BY Salary) AS RunningTotal FROM Employees So when computing running total, it is better to use a column that has unique data in the ORDER BY clause. Over clause in SQL Server

09:13
over partition by in sql server 2008 sql server over clause partition partition by clause in sql server 2008 over partition by clause in sql In this video we will discuss the power and use of Over clause in SQL Server. The OVER clause combined with PARTITION BY is used to break up data into partitions. Syntax : function (...) OVER (PARTITION BY col1, Col2, ...) The specified function operates for each partition. For example : COUNT(Gender) OVER (PARTITION BY Gender) will partition the data by GENDER i.e there will 2 partitions (Male and Female) and then the COUNT() function is applied over each partition. Any of the following functions can be used. Please note this is not the complete list. COUNT(), AVG(), SUM(), MIN(), MAX(), ROW_NUMBER(), RANK(), DENSE_RANK() etc. Example : SQl Script to create Employees table Create Table Employees ( Id int primary key, Name nvarchar(50), Gender nvarchar(10), Salary int ) Go Insert Into Employees Values (1, 'Mark', 'Male', 5000) Insert Into Employees Values (2, 'John', 'Male', 4500) Insert Into Employees Values (3, 'Pam', 'Female', 5500) Insert Into Employees Values (4, 'Sara', 'Female', 4000) Insert Into Employees Values (5, 'Todd', 'Male', 3500) Insert Into Employees Values (6, 'Mary', 'Female', 5000) Insert Into Employees Values (7, 'Ben', 'Male', 6500) Insert Into Employees Values (8, 'Jodi', 'Female', 7000) Insert Into Employees Values (9, 'Tom', 'Male', 5500) Insert Into Employees Values (10, 'Ron', 'Male', 5000) Go Write a query to retrieve total count of employees by Gender. Also in the result we want Average, Minimum and Maximum salary by Gender. This can be very easily achieved using a simple GROUP BY query as show below. SELECT Gender, COUNT(*) AS GenderTotal, AVG(Salary) AS AvgSal, MIN(Salary) AS MinSal, MAX(Salary) AS MaxSal FROM Employees GROUP BY Gender What if we want non-aggregated values (like employee Name and Salary) in result set along with aggregated values You cannot include non-aggregated columns in the GROUP BY query. SELECT Name, Salary, Gender, COUNT(*) AS GenderTotal, AVG(Salary) AS AvgSal, MIN(Salary) AS MinSal, MAX(Salary) AS MaxSal FROM Employees GROUP BY Gender The above query will result in the following error : Column 'Employees.Name' is invalid in the select list because it is not contained in either an aggregate function or the GROUP BY clause One way to achieve this is by including the aggregations in a subquery and then JOINING it with the main query as shown in the example below. Look at the amount of T-SQL code we have to write. SELECT Name, Salary, Employees.Gender, Genders.GenderTotals, Genders.AvgSal, Genders.MinSal, Genders.MaxSal FROM Employees INNER JOIN (SELECT Gender, COUNT(*) AS GenderTotals, AVG(Salary) AS AvgSal, MIN(Salary) AS MinSal, MAX(Salary) AS MaxSal FROM Employees GROUP BY Gender) AS Genders ON Genders.Gender = Employees.Gender Better way of doing this is by using the OVER clause combined with PARTITION BY SELECT Name, Salary, Gender, COUNT(Gender) OVER(PARTITION BY Gender) AS GenderTotals, AVG(Salary) OVER(PARTITION BY Gender) AS AvgSal, MIN(Salary) OVER(PARTITION BY Gender) AS MinSal, MAX(Salary) OVER(PARTITION BY Gender) AS MaxSal FROM Employees Text version of the video http://csharp-video-tutorials.blogspot.com/2015/09/over-clause-in-sql-server.html Slides http://csharp-video-tutorials.blogspot.com/2015/09/over-clause-in-sql-server_29.html All SQL Server Text Articles http://csharp-video-tutorials.blogspot.com/p/free-sql-server-video-tutorials-for.html All SQL Server Slides http://csharp-video-tutorials.blogspot.com/p/sql-server.html All Dot Net and SQL Server Tutorials in English https://www.youtube.com/user/kudvenkat/playlists?view=1&sort=dd All Dot Net and SQL Server Tutorials in Arabic https://www.youtube.com/c/KudvenkatArabic/playlists

Oracle SQL Tutorial 11 - CREATE TABLE

05:04
The way you create a table is to use the CREATE TABLE command. CREATE TABLE users() So in this situation, the name comes right after the TABLE keyword. The next thing we do is put all of the columns on a line that we want to put in our table. CREATE TABLE users( user_id, username, first_name, last_name ) Notice the naming conventions here. For this series we are going to make columns with what is known as snake casing. This is where each individual word is separated by an underscore. if you have more than one column, all of them have to have commas except the last one. The comma is a way to say that another column is coming, so you don't need to do it on the last one. Now you would think we were done, but we also have to say what data type each column is. Later we will extensively discuss data types so we can focus on them exclusively. For now, here are the data types we are going to use: CREATE TABLE users( user_id NUMBER, username VARCHAR2(50), first_name VARCHAR2(50), last_name VARCHAR2(50) ) Now, inside of the parenthesis for varchar2, we pass in a number... This is the max length of the string. But the question is, what is it measured in? The default is actually in bytes, not characters. For example if we have the string hello, it is 5 characters, but it might take up a total of 10 bytes of storage. So I would recommend adding the keyword char right after the number so it defaults to 50 characters, not bytes. CREATE TABLE users( user_id NUMBER, username VARCHAR(50 CHAR), first_name VARCHAR2(50 CHAR), last_name VARCHAR2(50 CHAR) ) This will work to create a table, but it's really missing a lot of information… which column is the primary key? Are we adding any indexes? Is there any thing else we need to say about these columns? So as you can tell, we are making progress, but there is still so much to learn. The biggest gotcha to remember from this video is that the data type VARCHAR ends in a 2, stupid, right? who would end the name of something with a 2? Oracel SQL - Running Sum or Running Total and Percent of Total

04:57
Running Sum or Running Total : syntax sum([measure_column]) over (order by [dimension_column] now running sum is displayed for each employee if we need restart the running sum by Gender here running sum is calculated separately for M and F Total salary to F = 250000 Total salary to M = 130000 What happens if we don't add order by? total 250000 for each gender is displayed at all rows if we want to display the total sum of salary at each row total sum(salary) is displayed at each row ----- Using this value we can calculate % of total select emp_name,gender,salary, sum(salary) over (order by emp_id)as Running_sum, round((salary/sum(salary) over())*100,2) as Perc_of_Total from employee

Oracle SQL Tutorial 33 - NUMBER Data Type

07:18
This video we are going to discuss the NUMBER data type. The Number data type is used to store integers, and real numbers. When you create a column as a NUMBER, you can store pretty huge or pretty small numbers in this column. Now there are two things you need to consider when working with numbers, and that is the precision as well as the how big the number is. For example, we can store the number 9.9. This has two significant digits. We could also store the number 9.9 X 10^4. In this situation, the number is much larger, but the number of significant digits is the same. 9.9 are the significant digits. When we expand this out we just have 99000, and the zeros are just used for size and are not considered "significant" in this situation. In fact, you get a max precision of 38, but a maximum value of 9.99 * 10^125. You can also use this data type to store very small numbers. Check the docs for the specifics on maximums and minimums. You can provide it with two pieces of information: Precision - The total number of digits. Scale - The number of digits to the right of the decimal. You do it in this format: NUMBER (precision, scale). The important thing to remember in this is that when you specify a precision, you will be limiting the max size of the numbers. The secret behind this data type is that it is actually stored in scientific notation. That is we store a number and then we can multiply it by 10 raised to some power. This allows us to store much larger numbers without taking up a ton of space. The oracle docs actually gives a formula that you can use to see how much storage is going to be required for a specific NUMBER data type. How much precision can be used? The acceptable range is 1-38. What about scale? The range is actually -84 to 127. I'll explain the scale in more detail in an upcoming video. That's because there is a lot of confusing things here…What does it mean for the scale to be negative? How can we have a scale that is bigger that the total number of digits available through the precision. That's a topic for another video. It's important to understand that when we increase our scale, we decrease the max size of the number. For example if we have a precision of 5 and a scale of 3, the highest number we can store is 99.999. This is in contrast to a precision of 5 and a scale of 2 which allows for up to 99.999. Either way you get 5 significant digits, but the numbers of digits to the left and right of the decimal change. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Support me! http://www.patreon.com/calebcurry Subscribe to my newsletter: http://bit.ly/JoinCCNewsletter Donate!: http://bit.ly/DonateCTVM2. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Additional Links~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ More content: http://CalebCurry.com Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/CalebTheVideoMaker Google+: https://plus.google.com/+CalebTheVideoMaker2 Twitter: http://twitter.com/calebCurry Amazing Web Hosting - http://bit.ly/ccbluehost (The best web hosting for a cheap price!)

Oracle SQL Tutorial 1 - Intro to Oracle Database

10:18
As illustrated in the video, Oracle Database is a program designed to hold lots of information, or data. There are all kinds of different databases and they all have their uses. Some of the most common ones are MySQL, SQL Server, Sybase, and MongoDB. All of these have different uses. The differences will be easier to understand after you learn more about each kind of database. We did not discuss it much in the video, but if you are wondering what “SQL” means in the title, it stands for structured query language. Structured query language is a human readable computer language that is used to tell databases to do things. We will discuss SQL and Oracle SQL Developer more in future videos. Databases are better than spreadsheets because they allow multiple users at one time, different levels of access given to users, recovery options and transactions, and it is more protected from hacking and malicious destruction. Programming languages often have very useful functions or methods that can be used to communicate to a database and therefore they are a naturally good option for the back end of programs. This course will go over all of the major parts of database programming using Oracle SQL. We will be using Oracle 11g, but these videos should still work with other versions, including the most recent 12c. Q and A ~~~~~~ How much does Oracle cost? The full enterprise edition costs thousands. They have other versions for less and they even have a FREE VERSION! This is known as the XE version (eXpress Edition). That is the one we will be using. How long does it take to learn SQL? You can learn all of the basics and be an efficient beginner database developer in only about a month of practice. To become an intermediate it can take anywhere from an additional 3 - 6 months with a only a few hours of studying and practicing each day. How can I learn SQL faster? Take notes and actually mess around with making your own database. Watch these videos until you understand the concepts within them, read articles and books that teach in more depth. How to Code Oracle Analytic Functions

Many more free Oracle Database and SQL tutorials at http://skillbuilders.com/free-oracle-tutorials. SQL is a language that allows you to perform queries to answer a wide range of questions about your data. While standard SQL is quite powerful, there are many questions that it cannot answer at all or that it can only answer with complex and inefficient SQL workarounds. Questions about running totals, percent of total, and ranking within a group fall into this area. Also, more complex issues such as Top-N within a group and aggregates over a range also fall in this arena. These questions can be easily answered via a new class of SQL statements called Analytic Functions. This presentation will show you how to use Oracle's Analytic Function extensions to SQL to answer these questions simply and efficiently.

Rank and Dense Rank in SQL Server

10:08
rank and dense_rank example difference between rank and dense_rank with example rank vs dense_rank in sql server 2008 sql server difference between rank and dense_rank In this video we will discuss Rank and Dense_Rank functions in SQL Server Rank and Dense_Rank functions Introduced in SQL Server 2005 Returns a rank starting at 1 based on the ordering of rows imposed by the ORDER BY clause ORDER BY clause is required PARTITION BY clause is optional When the data is partitioned, rank is reset to 1 when the partition changes Difference between Rank and Dense_Rank functions Rank function skips ranking(s) if there is a tie where as Dense_Rank will not. For example : If you have 2 rows at rank 1 and you have 5 rows in total. RANK() returns - 1, 1, 3, 4, 5 DENSE_RANK returns - 1, 1, 2, 3, 4 Syntax : RANK() OVER (ORDER BY Col1, Col2, ...) DENSE_RANK() OVER (ORDER BY Col1, Col2, ...) RANK() and DENSE_RANK() functions without PARTITION BY clause : In this example, data is not partitioned, so RANK() function provides a consecutive numbering except when there is a tie. Rank 2 is skipped as there are 2 rows at rank 1. The third row gets rank 3. DENSE_RANK() on the other hand will not skip ranks if there is a tie. The first 2 rows get rank 1. Third row gets rank 2. SELECT Name, Salary, Gender, RANK() OVER (ORDER BY Salary DESC) AS [Rank], DENSE_RANK() OVER (ORDER BY Salary DESC) AS DenseRank FROM Employees RANK() and DENSE_RANK() functions with PARTITION BY clause : Notice when the partition changes from Female to Male Rank is reset to 1 SELECT Name, Salary, Gender, RANK() OVER (PARTITION BY Gender ORDER BY Salary DESC) AS [Rank], DENSE_RANK() OVER (PARTITION BY Gender ORDER BY Salary DESC) AS DenseRank FROM Employees Use case for RANK and DENSE_RANK functions : Both these functions can be used to find Nth highest salary. However, which function to use depends on what you want to do when there is a tie. Let me explain with an example. If there are 2 employees with the FIRST highest salary, there are 2 different business cases 1. If your business case is, not to produce any result for the SECOND highest salary, then use RANK function 2. If your business case is to return the next Salary after the tied rows as the SECOND highest Salary, then use DENSE_RANK function Since we have 2 Employees with the FIRST highest salary. Rank() function will not return any rows for the SECOND highest Salary. WITH Result AS ( SELECT Salary, RANK() OVER (ORDER BY Salary DESC) AS Salary_Rank FROM Employees ) SELECT TOP 1 Salary FROM Result WHERE Salary_Rank = 2 Though we have 2 Employees with the FIRST highest salary. Dense_Rank() function returns, the next Salary after the tied rows as the SECOND highest Salary WITH Result AS ( SELECT Salary, DENSE_RANK() OVER (ORDER BY Salary DESC) AS Salary_Rank FROM Employees ) SELECT TOP 1 Salary FROM Result WHERE Salary_Rank = 2 You can also use RANK and DENSE_RANK functions to find the Nth highest Salary among Male or Female employee groups. The following query finds the 3rd highest salary amount paid among the Female employees group WITH Result AS ( SELECT Salary, Gender, DENSE_RANK() OVER (PARTITION BY Gender ORDER BY Salary DESC) AS Salary_Rank FROM Employees ) SELECT TOP 1 Salary FROM Result WHERE Salary_Rank = 3 AND Gender = 'Female' Text version of the video http://csharp-video-tutorials.blogspot.com/2015/10/rank-and-denserank-in-sql-server.html Slides http://csharp-video-tutorials.blogspot.com/2015/10/rank-and-denserank-in-sql-server_1.html All SQL Server Text Articles http://csharp-video-tutorials.blogspot.com/p/free-sql-server-video-tutorials-for.html All SQL Server Slides http://csharp-video-tutorials.blogspot.com/p/sql-server.html All Dot Net and SQL Server Tutorials in English https://www.youtube.com/user/kudvenkat/playlists?view=1&sort=dd All Dot Net and SQL Server Tutorials in Arabic https://www.youtube.com/c/KudvenkatArabic/playlists

SQL Tutorial - Window Functions

12:41
Another fantastic SQL Tutorial brought to you by BeardedDev. In this video we begin to explore Window Functions and their purpose within SQL Server. Window Functions are used for performing data analysis calculations and address an important need compared to the GROUP BY clause that we are able to return the underlying data in the same query. This video shows an example of the differences between the GROUP BY clause and Window Functions. Window Functions were first introduced in SQL Server 2005 but further enhancements and support was added in SQL Server 2012. We look at the OVER clause and PARTITION BY. Window Functions can only be included within SELECT or ORDER BY clauses. Functions Available: Aggregate - COUNT, SUM, MIN, MAX, AVG Offset - FIRST_VALUE, LAST_VALUE, LEAD, LAG Statistical - PERCENT_RANK, CUME_DIST, PERCENTILE_CONT, PERCENTILE_DIST Windows Functions also have FRAMES ROWS RANGE Window Functions are a powerful tool within SQL Server and I am excited to bring more videos and tutorials working with Window Functions in the future. Code: WITH CTE AS ( SELECT Sales_Id , SUM(Line_Total) AS Total FROM Sales_Details GROUP BY Sales_Id ) SELECT * FROM CTE AS A INNER JOIN Sales_Details AS B ON A.Sales_Id = B.Sales_Id SELECT Sales_Id , Sales_Date , Item , Price , Quantity , Line_Total , COUNT(Line_Total) OVER(PARTITION BY Sales_Id) AS Line_Count , SUM(Line_Total) OVER(PARTITION BY Sales_Id) AS Sales_Total , SUM(Line_Total) OVER(PARTITION BY Sales_Date) AS Daily_Total , SUM(Line_Total) OVER() AS Total FROM Sales_Details ORDER BY Sales_Total

We will be using Countries table in this example. SQL to create the table Create Table Countries ( Country nvarchar(50), City nvarchar(50) ) GO Insert into Countries values ('USA','New York') Insert into Countries values ('USA','Houston') Insert into Countries values ('USA','Dallas') Insert into Countries values ('India','Hyderabad') Insert into Countries values ('India','Bangalore') Insert into Countries values ('India','New Delhi') Insert into Countries values ('UK','London') Insert into Countries values ('UK','Birmingham') Insert into Countries values ('UK','Manchester') Here is the interview question. Write a sql query to transpose rows to columns. Using PIVOT operator we can very easily transform rows to columns. Select Country, City1, City2, City3 From ( Select Country, City, 'City'+ cast(row_number() over(partition by Country order by Country) as varchar(10)) ColumnSequence from Countries ) Temp pivot ( max(City) for ColumnSequence in (City1, City2, City3) ) Piv

Part 1 How to find nth highest salary in sql

11:45
Link for all dot net and sql server video tutorial playlists http://www.youtube.com/user/kudvenkat/playlists Link for slides, code samples and text version of the video http://csharp-video-tutorials.blogspot.com/2014/05/part-1-how-to-find-nth-highest-salary_17.html This is a very common SQL Server Interview Question. There are several ways of finding the nth highest salary. By the end of this video, we will be able to answer all the following questions as well. How to find nth highest salary in SQL Server using a Sub-Query How to find nth highest salary in SQL Server using a CTE How to find the 2nd, 3rd or 15th highest salary Let's use the following Employees table for this demo Use the following script to create Employees table Create table Employees ( ID int primary key identity, FirstName nvarchar(50), LastName nvarchar(50), Gender nvarchar(50), Salary int ) GO Insert into Employees values ('Ben', 'Hoskins', 'Male', 70000) Insert into Employees values ('Mark', 'Hastings', 'Male', 60000) Insert into Employees values ('Steve', 'Pound', 'Male', 45000) Insert into Employees values ('Ben', 'Hoskins', 'Male', 70000) Insert into Employees values ('Philip', 'Hastings', 'Male', 45000) Insert into Employees values ('Mary', 'Lambeth', 'Female', 30000) Insert into Employees values ('Valarie', 'Vikings', 'Female', 35000) Insert into Employees values ('John', 'Stanmore', 'Male', 80000) GO To find the highest salary it is straight forward. We can simply use the Max() function as shown below. Select Max(Salary) from Employees To get the second highest salary use a sub query along with Max() function as shown below. Select Max(Salary) from Employees where Salary [ (Select Max(Salary) from Employees) To find nth highest salary using Sub-Query SELECT TOP 1 SALARY FROM ( SELECT DISTINCT TOP N SALARY FROM EMPLOYEES ORDER BY SALARY DESC ) RESULT ORDER BY SALARY To find nth highest salary using CTE WITH RESULT AS ( SELECT SALARY, DENSE_RANK() OVER (ORDER BY SALARY DESC) AS DENSERANK FROM EMPLOYEES ) SELECT TOP 1 SALARY FROM RESULT WHERE DENSERANK = N To find 2nd highest salary we can use any of the above queries. Simple replace N with 2. Similarly, to find 3rd highest salary, simple replace N with 3. Please Note: On many of the websites, you may have seen that, the following query can be used to get the nth highest salary. The below query will only work if there are no duplicates. WITH RESULT AS ( SELECT SALARY, ROW_NUMBER() OVER (ORDER BY SALARY DESC) AS ROWNUMBER FROM EMPLOYEES ) SELECT SALARY FROM RESULT WHERE ROWNUMBER = 3

Part 2 SQL query to get organization hierarchy

10:14
Link for all dot net and sql server video tutorial playlists http://www.youtube.com/user/kudvenkat/playlists Link for slides, code samples and text version of the video http://csharp-video-tutorials.blogspot.com/2014/05/part-2-sql-query-to-get-organization.html To get the best out of this video, the following concepts need to be understood first. These are already discussed in SQL Server Tutorial. 1. Self-Join - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qnYSN_7qwgg 2. CTE - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZXB5b-7HJHk 3. Recursive CTE - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GGoV0wTMCg0 Here is the problem definition: 1. Employees table contains the following columns a) EmployeeId, b) EmployeeName c) ManagerId 2. If an EmployeeId is passed, the query should list down the entire organization hierarchy i.e who is the manager of the EmployeeId passed and who is managers manager and so on till full hierarchy is listed. For example, Scenario 1: If we pass David's EmployeeId to the query, then it should display the organization hierarchy starting from David. Scenario 2: If we pass Lara's EmployeeId to the query, then it should display the organization hierarchy starting from Lara. We will be Employees table for this demo. SQL to create and populate Employees table with test data Create table Employees ( EmployeeID int primary key identity, EmployeeName nvarchar(50), ManagerID int foreign key references Employees(EmployeeID) ) GO Insert into Employees values ('John', NULL) Insert into Employees values ('Mark', NULL) Insert into Employees values ('Steve', NULL) Insert into Employees values ('Tom', NULL) Insert into Employees values ('Lara', NULL) Insert into Employees values ('Simon', NULL) Insert into Employees values ('David', NULL) Insert into Employees values ('Ben', NULL) Insert into Employees values ('Stacy', NULL) Insert into Employees values ('Sam', NULL) GO Update Employees Set ManagerID = 8 Where EmployeeName IN ('Mark', 'Steve', 'Lara') Update Employees Set ManagerID = 2 Where EmployeeName IN ('Stacy', 'Simon') Update Employees Set ManagerID = 3 Where EmployeeName IN ('Tom') Update Employees Set ManagerID = 5 Where EmployeeName IN ('John', 'Sam') Update Employees Set ManagerID = 4 Where EmployeeName IN ('David') GO Here is the SQL that does the job Declare @ID int ; Set @ID = 7; WITH EmployeeCTE AS ( Select EmployeeId, EmployeeName, ManagerID From Employees Where EmployeeId = @ID UNION ALL Select Employees.EmployeeId , Employees.EmployeeName, Employees.ManagerID From Employees JOIN EmployeeCTE ON Employees.EmployeeId = EmployeeCTE.ManagerID ) Select E1.EmployeeName, ISNULL(E2.EmployeeName, 'No Boss') as ManagerName From EmployeeCTE E1 LEFT Join EmployeeCTE E2 ON E1.ManagerID = E2.EmployeeId
