Here's the link: https://wplearninglab.com/contact-form-7-css-style-almost-anything/ I'll also paste the styles below: /* Submit Button CSS Styles */ .wpcf7 input[type=submit] { padding:15px 45px; background:#FF0000; color:#fff; font-size:30px; font-weight:bold; border:0 none; cursor:pointer; -webkit-border-radius: 5px; border-radius: 5px; } /* Label Text Styles */ .wpcf7 label { padding: 0 0 10px 0; font-size: 20px; } /* Text Input Field Styles */ .wpcf7 input[type=text], .wpcf7 input[type=email], .wpcf7 input[type=url], .wpcf7 input[type=tel], .wpcf7 input[type=number], .wpcf7 .wpcf7-select{ font-size:30px; border: 1px solid red; } /* Textarea Field Styles */ .wpcf7 textarea { width: 100%; color: red; font-size: 20px; border-color:red; } /* Overall form styles */ .wpcf7 { background-color:gray; } Remember that these styles need to go into your CSS stylesheet or if you are putting them right into the header of your site they need to be between style tags. If you are lucky enough to have a theme that allows custom CSS, you can copy and paste them into there. If you're not sure where to find a place where you can enter CSS, this tutorial may help you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLSUWT9MNlA CSS is a very forgiving language, so if you make a change that makes something look really bad just undo your change, save and everything is back to normal. CSS Button Generator - Entice Visitors To Click your Call To Action

05:45
CSS Button Generator Will Buttons Attractive To Visitors https://youtu.be/L06Nr6LaDI0 Grab your free 17-Point WordPress Pre-Launch PDF Checklist: http://vid.io/xqRL One of my favorite CSS button generators is BestCSSButtonGenerator.com. But if you don't like that one just Google "CSS button generator" and you'll find a bunch of others to try. One of reasons I like this button generator is it offers pre-built buttons that you can choose from. You can use them as-is or adjust them to suit your needs. Adjusting them is as easy as using scroll bars and basic input fields to the right of button preview. You can adjust nearly every aspect of the buttons you create. When you're ready to apply the button styles to the buttons on your site simply click on the button preview. The area on the right where you were adjusting the button values will reveal the HTML and CSS code that generates the button. You probably already have a button on your site, so you don't need the HTML code. Just copy the CSS code into your stylesheet. If you don't know where to put the CSS code watch this video showing you were to find a spot to put CSS in your themes. Now that you have the CSS code on your site, the next step is applying it to the correct selector. Submit buttons on forms can be selected using input[type=submit] {} That is the entire selector, no hastag for an ID or period for a class. Using that, the style will be applied to all submit buttons on your site. If you're happy with that then you're all done. If you want to apply that button style only a specific button then you need to do some more work. Either wrap the form or button in a div with a unique ID or find a unique class or ID you can use via the inspector in your browser. If you are using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, you can right-click on any element on a page and then click on Inspect in the context menu that pops up. This will display the code of the page that you can then interact with. Somewhere, around the button of interest, there will be an element with a unique ID or class that you can use as part of the selector like this: #UniqueID input[type=submit] {} or .UniqueClass input[type=submit] {} Then the style will only be applied to that specific button. It may take some trial and error to find the right ID or class, but keep trying. You'll find it! With HTML5 and CSS3 bursting onto the scene far more quickly than anticipated and the rapid spread of web-enabled smartphones and tablets, designing and building a website has suddenly become more complex. Fortunately, JavaScript libraries like jQuery reconcile browser incompatibilities and make light work of adding dynamic features, and Dreamweaver CS5.5 has risen to the challenge by providing the tools you need to build modern websites with HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery. In this course, experienced author and trainer David Powers explains which parts of HTML5 and CSS3 you can use now and how to convert existing pages to HTML5 or build new ones from scratch. You'll learn how to adapt a website that was originally designed for desktop computers so that it works properly on mobile phones and tablets and how to use CSS media queries to apply different styles depending on screen width, viewing the changes in real time in Dreamweaver´s Live view. You'll also learn the basics of jQuery and how to use it to enhance forms, how to create CSS3 effects without images, how to choose the right CSS selector, and much more. The Top Three "Submit" Buttons For Squeeze Pages

05:36
http://www.ListBuilding.com/squeeze-buttons - Overcome Everything, Inc. First, I have to address the one reason that would make you click away from this article: NO there are no free buttons here. But that's okay and here's why: It's wicked lame to just swipe a button because some dude in an article says it's good. I could easily give you a button to use on your squeeze pages, but then you'd be missing out on the key to buttons that work well on squeeze pages: a little bit of non painful planning and forethought... From the testing I've done, I can give you some helpful hints, and point you towards three styles of button that convert well on almost any kind of squeeze pages. http://www.ListBuilding.com/squeeze-buttons Then, you can make your decision about what you want to test on your squeeze pages and go beg, borrow or make it yourself. Whatever you do, make sure you're allowed to use your button. I see people stealing button images left and right and it's just not smart. It's so easy to get a legal button for your squeeze pages that does what you want it to do, so don't open yourself up to the lawyer-scum by "swiping" a button off one of your rivals squeeze pages without permission. Now, onto the juicy stuff: Submit Button For Squeeze Pages Style #1: The "Belcher" or "Amazon" style button: Two good buttons to look at are the "Add To Cart" buttons at Amazon.com and www.TheBelcherButton.com - they both have been tested up the wazoo, and use an eye catching orangy color that works wonders. But, they aren't exactly perfect for squeeze pages because the text is all wrong. You'll want to change the call to action from "Add to cart" to "Continue" or "Click Here For Instant Access" or (anything a little more exciting and action oriented than "submit.") I hate when buttons expect me to be submissive. http://www.ListBuilding.com/squeeze-buttons Submit Button For Squeeze Pages Style #2: The "Green Means Go" button: Now, orange and yellow have been proven to be good for sales, but some independent testing I've run points to the possibility that green may actually be a better color for buttons on squeeze pages. I've tested a simple ovalish "pill" shaped button that says "CONTINUE" in nice big caps on one of our squeze pages with great results. Now, the "green means go" concept is still unproven, but it's worth testing out, especially because it makes logical sense that green is associated with movement and going from a standstill to forward motion. That could just be pop psychological B.S. - but what the hell, I've tested crazier with good results and you should too. http://www.ListBuilding.com/squeeze-buttons Submit Button For Squeeze Pages Style #3: The "Magic Color Changing Button": This requires a little extra html coding on your squeeze pages but it's not too difficult. Essentially you need two different button images, one will be the "standard" button, and the other will be for "on mouse over" - so, when anyone visits one of your squeeze pages that has the magic color changing button, when they mouse over the button (if they're thinking about opting in, and mouse over the button on your squeeze pages, it will change color from red to green.) We tested this style of button out on our sales pages for a while, and then moved it over to the squeeze pages too - it's currently not doing as well as the "Belcher" style button on our sales pages, but it's still rocking out like a ninja on a few of our squeeze pages. http://www.ListBuilding.com/squeeze-buttons Getting your squeeze pages right is a key to building your list quickly, so don't be a chump (like I used to be :-) - get help and follow a tested system. The free video on the next page will show you how to avoid all the nasty mistakes that almost guarantee you'll be stuck with crumby results from your squeeze pages: http://www.ListBuilding.com/squeeze-buttons

HTML Tutorial 16 - Radio Buttons and Checkboxes (Forms)

15:30
In this tutorial, we continue to talk about creating HTML forms, but in addition to talking about textboxes and submit buttons, this tutorial covers how to add radio buttons and checkboxes to a form. Radio buttons can be useful for when a user is only allowed to select one option from a list of items, while checkboxes can be used to allow users to select multiple (or no) items from a list of them. In order to add radio buttons and checkboxes to our webpages, we can still use the "input" tag and the "type" attribute, but instead of using a type of "text" or "password", we can use either "radio" or "checkbox" to create radio buttons or checkboxes. In this video, Neil demonstrates that you can easily attach a macro to a button, and have a document emailed to you. The text file with the two macros can be downloaded here: http://ktr.bz/WFSubmitMacros Remember, any time you add macros to a document, you require your users to permit macros to run, which could be a security risk. Contact Form 7 Tutorial - Create a 2-Column Responsive Form With Contact Form 7 | CF7 Tuts Part 4

Contact Form 7 Tutorial - Create a 2-Column Responsive Form With Contact Form 7 Check out https://happyforms.me/ , it's a cool new form builder that you may like better than CF7 (and it's free!): HappyForms.me Exclusive for WPLearningLab viewers, up to 50% off hosting: https://wplearninglab.com/wordpress-hosting-offer/ Putting the contact form code into the YouTube description didn't make sense because YouTube doesn't allow pointy brackets, which there are a lot of in this code. So instead, you can find it here: https://wplearninglab.com/contact-form-7-2-column-responsive-form Below are the CSS styles I mention in the video: /*--- 2 Column Form Styles Start ---*/ #left { width: 47%; float: left; margin-right:6%; } #right { width: 47%; float: left; } .clearfix:after { content:"\0020"; display:block; height:0; clear:both; visibility:hidden; overflow:hidden; margin-bottom:10px; } .clearfix { display:block; } /*--- 2 Column Form Styles End ---*/ With over 1 million active downloads, the Contact Form 7 (https://wordpress.org/plugins/contact-form-7/) plugin by Takayuki Miyoshi is one of the most popular contact form plugins around. And for good reason. It makes contact forms a breeze. In this Contact Form 7 tutorial I'm going to show you how to create a 2-column Responsive form using Contact Form 7. They key to creating a contact form using Contact Form 7 with two columns is the use of HTML Div tags and CSS floats. A regular WordPress contact form is nice, but the two columns really adds a bit of polish. First things first, if you haven't installed Contact Form 7 yet, let's do that. To install this plugin please log into your WordPress dashboard, hover over Plugins and then click on Add New. On the next page type "Contact Form 7" into the search bar. The plugin we want should be the first one in the top left. Click on the Install Now button and then click Activate after it's installed. It will add a new menu item in the left hand admin menu called Contact Form. Hover over that click on Add New. You will taken to the new form creator. First enter a name for your contact form and then paste the HTML form code into the form editor. Next, click on the Mail tab to customize the email that is generated when the form is submitted. Make sure you add all of the available fields that are at the top of the Mail tab. Watch the video to see how to do this in detail. When you're done, click on Save Changes. Next, we need to add this form to a page. After saving a blue bar will appear at the top of the form editor. Inside that blue bar is the shortcode for your form. Copy that code. Now go to Pages, then Add New to create a new page OR find the page where your contact form needs to live. Inside the page editor paste the shortcode and click on Update to save the page. When you view the page, you will see a 1 column form. Now it's time to make it 2-column and responsive using CSS. Back inside the WordPress admin find a place where you can add custom CSS. Your theme may have a special spot in the Theme Options section or you may have a code insert plugin or you may have a plugin that allows you to add CSS directly to specific pages. However it is that you add CSS, do that. Just paste in the CSS and save. As long as you didn't change the HTML, your contact form 7 will now be 2 column responsive! And that's how easy it is to create a contact form WordPress. I hope this information helps you! The Button Element

02:07
HTML Forms The web is a two-way communication medium. There’s lots of HTML elements for displaying data and producing output, and conversely, there’s also lots of HTML elements for accepting input. Accepting input from the user means creating web forms. In this course, we’ll learn about all the most important form elements that web professionals use on a daily basis. 1. Form Basics To learn about forms, we’re going to create a simple sign up form for an imaginary web app. Our form won’t actually submit anywhere, since that requires additional server-side code. However, we will learn about all the most important HTML form elements. 1:37 Overview of Forms 3:11 The Form Element 5:30 The Input Element 2:08 The Textarea Element 2:06 The Button Element 2. Organizing Forms A form can be created with just a form element and some controls, but it's helpful to the user if the form is organized with labels and fieldset elements. 4:05 The Label Element 3:39 Fieldsets and Legends 3. Choosing Options Sometimes when creating a form, it's better for the user to choose from predefined options rather than typing in text. This can be accomplished with select menus, radio buttons, and checkboxes. 6:40 Select Menus 5:38 Radio Buttons 4:15 Checkboxes 1:20 Going Further

HTML Tutorial 15 - Creating HTML Forms

13:54
In this tutorial, we talk about how to create forms in HTML, where users can input data. We also talk about how the data is sent to an external webpage or script, which can then take and use the data from the HTML form. Some of the things we mention in this tutorial are how to input text using the "input" tag and the "type" attribute, which creates a text box and how to input a password into a textbox, without having to worry about whether or not someone is looking at the screen! We also talk about "submit" buttons, as well as some other things related to HTML forms! And, yes, I do know about the spelling error in the tutorial! ;) Thank you for watching! Events in JavaScript

17:08
Link for all dot net and sql server video tutorial playlists http://www.youtube.com/user/kudvenkat/playlists Link for slides, code samples and text version of the video http://csharp-video-tutorials.blogspot.com/2015/01/events-in-javascript.html What is an event An event is a signal from the browser that something has happened. For example, 1. When a user clicks on an HTML element, click event occurs 2. When a user moves the mouse over an HTML element, mouseover event occurs When events occur, we can execute JavaScript code or functions in response to those events. To do this we need to associate JavaScript code or functions to the events. The function that executes in response to an event is called event handler. In JavaScript, there are several ways to associate an event handler to the event 1. Using the attributes of an HTML tag 2. Using DOM object property 3. Using special methods In this video we will discuss associating event handler methods to events using the attributes of HTML tags. In the following example, the code to execute in response to onmouseover & onmouseout events is set directly in the HTML markup. The keyword "this" references the current element. In this example "this" references the button control. [input type="button" value="Click me" id="btn" onmouseover="this.style.background= 'red'; this.style.color = 'yellow'" onmouseout="this.style.background= 'black'; this.style.color = 'white'" /] The above example, can be rewritten as shown below. In this case the code to execute in response to the event is placed inside a function and then the function is associated with the event. [input type="button" value="Click me" id="btn" onmouseover="changeColorOnMouseOver()" onmouseout="changeColorOnMouseOut()" /] [script type="text/javascript"] function changeColorOnMouseOver() { var control = document.getElementById("btn"); control.style.background = 'red'; control.style.color = 'yellow'; } function changeColorOnMouseOut() { var control = document.getElementById("btn"); control.style.background = 'black'; control.style.color = 'white'; } [/script] Events are very useful in real-world applications. For example they can be used to 1. Display confirmation dialog box on submitting a form 2. Form data validation and many more How to show confirmation dialog in JavaScript [input type="submit" value="Submit" id="btn" onclick="return confirmSubmit()" /] [script type="text/javascript"] function confirmSubmit() { if (confirm("Are you sure you want to submit")) { alert("You selected OK"); return true; } else { return false; confirm("You selected cancel"); } } [/script] JavaScript form validation example : In this example, both First Name and Last Name fields are required fields. When you type the first character in any of the textbox, the background colour is automatically changed to green. If you delete all the characters you typed or if you leave the textbox without entering any characters the background colour changes to red indicating the field is required. We made this possible using onkeyup and onblur events. onkeyup occurs when the user releases a key. onblur occurs when an element loses focus. [table] [tr] [td] First Name [/td] [td] [input type="text" id="txtFirstName" onkeyup="validateRequiredField('txtFirstName')" onblur="validateRequiredField('txtFirstName')"/] [/td] [/tr] [tr] [td] Last Name [/td] [td] [input type="text" id="txtLastName" onkeyup="validateRequiredField('txtLastName')" onblur="validateRequiredField('txtLastName')"/] [/td] [/tr] [/table] [script type="text/javascript"] function validateRequiredField(controlId) { var control = document.getElementById(controlId); control.style.color = 'white'; if (control.value == "") { control.style.background = 'red'; } else { control.style.background = 'green'; } } [/script]
