You will learn to create cross-browser custom css3 select box dropdown using the HTML5 select tag. It means the select box arrows will be supported in all the major browsers including ie10 or above. Here you also will learn three different methods to create a custom select box dropdown without using any external javascript library or bootstrap. I will show you how easily you can hide the default arrow from selectbox and apply your own custom arrow. ===============DOWNLOAD SOURCE CODEs============== *Code to Follow Along: https://goo.gl/MTXSFT *Click on the Fork Button on Codepen After Opening the Link to Start following Finished Final Code: https://goo.gl/ERqNWJ ===================================================== =================Navigate to Specific part============= 1:30 - Applying common styles to all select elements 3:58 - #1 Background Image Technique to Style HTML5 Select Box 7:15 - #2 Using CSS3 Border to Create Downword Arrow 13:27 - #3 Using FontAwesome Glyphicon for the Arrow in our Selectbox Dropdown list ==================================================== HOW WE WILL CREATE OUR CUSTOM SELECTBOX USING CCS3? To create a select box we simply use the html5 document to create our markup for the select box. We will create three different select boxes using the "select" element and the "option" element for creating dropdown lists. To hide the default styling from the select element applied by the browser we will use the css3 appearance property and set its value to none. And then, we will use an another useful rule to hide the default arrows applied by Internet explorer 10; from the select box dropdown. THREE DIFFERENT METHODS THAT WE WILL BE USING Each select box will be using a different method for styling the dropdown arrow inside the combobox. - The first Method will show using an Image Background technique to create custom arrow for the CSS select box. - The second method will use the CSS border property to create a triangular shape that will be used to customize your select element's dropdown arrow. - Finally, the third method will use the fontawesome glyphicon to create our custom arrow for the selectbox dropdown. All, the method will have the cross-browser support for our custom css3 select box. Each method ensures that it works properly in the Internet explorer 10 or above and other older browser. ClickFunnels: How to Change Text Color (More Customizable Option)

09:39
If you need help with a specific issue and want me to personally take a look at your setup, I can help! Check out the 'My Services' section of my blog: https://amarketingessentials.com/my-services/ If you know HTML coding and want to change font color: 1:42 How to change font color to any color you want: 2:20 Difference between Editor Version 1 and 2: 7:59 Welcome back everyone! So yes, I did make a previous shorter and much simpler video on how to change font color on ClickFunnels (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kprSsKeTky4&index=3&list=PLS46f4aLJ2hNASorSJ04itRrhsnZ00x5u), but the problem is that under that approach, you could only either A) change font color to only TWO colors, or B) you could only pick from an unpleasant selection of colors in text editor. Well, this video helps you solve that problem! If you know HTML code, just go to the html section of text editor, and make your changes there. You don't need to watch this video to know how to change text size, color, or other features and can just carry on with your affiliate marketing! But if you know NOTHING about programming or HTML code like me, then keep watching! I try to explain and show you how you can use HTML code to customize your text in a very simple way. Basically, I start off by highlighting the text in ClickFunnels text editor that I see needs color changing, then go into HTML editor and put in the new color code of the color I want my new text to be. I use Photoshop to select my color, but you can really use any software that gives you a code of the color you want, such as PowerPoint, or even ClickFunnels itself within any color selection tool! After I select my color, I just copy the code, and paste it into the HTML spot designated for color coding in the ClickFunnels text editor. You can either use the code itself, followed by the # sign, or plug in the actual numerical values into the spot, such as rbg (255, 214, 37) as an example. The exact code or number combination will be given to you in either Photoshop or PowerPoint. The best part about this is that you can adjust every single word to be a different color, which is something that cannot be done under the regular 'headline' option, or has very limited colors in the 'text editor'. I hope this helped you out! Please subscribe and stay tuned for future videos where go over the technical how-to's and/or dig deeper into other affiliate marketing tools! If you are interested in ClickFunnels, or want to learn more, feel free to check out their free 14-day trial under my affiliate link at: https://tinyurl.com/14-day-free-clickfunnels-trial If you like GetResponse and want to learn more, try out their 30-day free trial under my affiliate link at: http://www.getresponse.com/index/Ambition If you are interested in ClickMagick, or want to learn more, feel free to check out their free 14-day trial under my affiliate link at: http://www.bestlinktracker.com/ClickMagick/yt Here is my Namecheap affiliate link as well if you want to buy one of their really cheap domains and/or private email: https://www.namecheap.com/?aff=108439 Thanks for watching, and I'll see you in the next video!

On top of that, you'll also learn how to set your default shape and default text box formatting so this doesn't happen to you in the future. The Replace Fonts is a GREAT feature for quickly switching out old font styles in your slides, saving you from having to manually walk through all your PowerPoint slides one-by-one yourself, replacing each font style yourself. This is another great PowerPoint Speed Training example where you can save a ton of time by getting PowerPoint to do the heavy lifting for you. Using the Replace Fonts command, PowerPoint walks through your entire presentation (including the Slide Master) and changes the fonts in all your objects like: • Shapes • Text boxes • Placeholders • Tables • SmartArt • It even works through the notes pane The only place this font changer command doesn’t work in PowerPoint is with your charts. So, if you have a bunch of charts in your presentation with the wrong font, just be aware that you will have to manually replace fonts there. After changing your fonts, another clever PowerPoint Speed Training trick is to set your default shape formatting and set your default text box formatting. That way the old font styles that you don't want won't accidentally show back up in you r slides, which is bound to otherwise happen if someone has set default text boxes and shapes to the old (bad) font style. To see how to set the default font formatting for your shapes and text boxes, watch the short video above. For additional help replacing fonts in your PowerPoint slides, see the blog post below on my blog. https://nutsandboltsspeedtraining.com/powerpoint-tutorials/how-to-change-the-font-on-all-slides-in-powerpoint/

How to create a sketch effect in your typography in Adobe Illustrator

01:59
In this tutorial, we will teach you how to create a sketch effect in your typography in Adobe Illustrator. Don't forget to check out our site http://howtech.tv/ for more free how-to videos! http://youtube.com/ithowtovids - our feed http://www.facebook.com/howtechtv - join us on facebook https://plus.google.com/103440382717658277879 - our group in Google+ In Adobe different Illustrator fonts can be given a sketch effect by applying the simple scribble effect. This effect can also be saved and used later on for a separate illustration. Step # 1 -- Enter text First of all, select the "text tool" from the tool panel and make a text box. Enter what you want to write in the text box. Once done, specify the font type and size from the text panel. In case the panel isn't already being displayed, press the keys "ctrl + t" in order to open it. In this tutorial, we have chosen the font type as "Helvetica-normal" and the size as "100pt". Step # 2 -- Remove the text color Select the text with the help of the "selection tool" and remove color from the text by clicking on the "none" option, right below the color box on the tool panel. Step # 3 -- Add a new fill Once the text has been selected, open the "appearance" panel on the right. From the arrow on the right of the panel, choose the "add new fill" option. Once selected, under the "effect" menu, go to "stylize" and select the "scribble" option in order to open up the settings. In this manner, you can adjust the settings as per your preferences. Step # 4 -- Add the "scribble" effect Without deselecting the fill, under the "effect" menu, go to "stylize" and select the "scribble" option. A settings window will appear by the name of Scribble Options. Over here, you can adjust the settings as per your requirements. Step # 5 -- Alter the text size In order to increase the size of the text, you can either increase the font size or right click on the text and select the "create outlines" option. Over here, you can increase the font manually. However, remember that if you create outlines, then you cannot change the font type later on. Step # 6 -- Save the sketching effect This sketching effect can be saved in the "graphics" panel. So if you want to add it to any another illustration, you will not have to make this effect from scratch. Save it in the graphics panel by simply dragging it there. Step # 7 -- Apply the saved effect In order to understand how to apply this later on, enter text in another separate box. In the tutorial, we have chosen the font type as "Helvetica-CondensedBlack Oblique" and the font size as "100". Do so by means of the selection tool and simply click on the graphic style you had saved in the panel earlier. The sketch style will automatically be applied.

How to Create CSS Dropdown List

01:25
In this tutorial we will learn to create CSS drop down menu. Don't forget to check out our site http://howtech.tv/ for more free how-to videos! http://youtube.com/ithowtovids - our feed http://www.facebook.com/howtechtv - join us on facebook https://plus.google.com/103440382717658277879 - our group in Google+ Follow this easy step by step easy tutorial to learn how to create CSS Dropdown list and see some of the formatting techniques of the menu items. Drop Down menus are used in almost every web page nowadays. They actually bind the data values to the menu items, hence the user just interact with the Sub items, not bothering about the data value. Step 1 - Main Category First of all, let's open up the 'html' and 'body' tag. After that open up the 'label' tag and give the list a name. Then declare a class for our menu. Let's name the class "Animal" for now, since we will be creating a list of animals. The code would be: 'html' 'body' 'label' Select Any Animal '/label' 'select class ="Animal"' Step 2 - Code for Sub Categories Now open up the 'option value' tag, give the required options after the "value" attribute and specify its class as "options", since we want to create a drop down menu. After that, we will specify the name of the value which has to appear in the list on the browser. Lastly, do remember to close the tags. The code for the sub categories would be: 'option value="lion" class="options"'Lion'/option' 'option value="tiger" class="options"'Tiger'/option' 'option value="Leopard" class="options"'leopard'/option' Step 3 - Preview In browser Further, save the file as .html extension and open it up in a browser. The menu would appear as the way we coded it. Step 4 - Applying CSS Now let us apply some styles on our CSS drop down menu. For that, we will add a style tag before the body tag. Now, let's apply formatting on the options that will appear in the list. For that, we will define the functionality in the members' class. Here, the member class is options, so let's change the font size and color. After that, let's close the style tag and open up the browser. Step 5 - CSS effects After that, refresh the page which was opened in browser previously. It would be observed that the size and color of the CSS dropdown list has just appeared as we coded it. And that is all about CSS dropdown list.

How to Select and Change Colors in Photoshop

I Guarantee I Can Teach You to Master Photoshop. Learn How: https://phlearn.com/aaronwillteachyou Selecting Color Range To select out the different colors, create a new layer and go to Select - Color Range. Click on the color you want to sample with the regular eyedropper tool. You can play with the fuzziness to get more of an accurate selection. Also, if you need to add or take away from your selection, you can use the eyedroppers with the plus and minus symbols next to them to do so. Next, go to Layer - New Adjustment Layer - Hue/Saturation. This will load your selection directly into the Hue/Saturation layer so that you can adjust the hue sliders and change only the colors you want to change! Refining Layer Masks If you have small unwanted parts in a selection, you can always paint over it with a brush tool on the layer mask. Tip: If you hold alt/opt and click on a layer mask, it will appear as black and white. This can be very helpful for seeing tiny stray colors in your selections. ClickFunnels: How to Change Text Color (Easier Option)

04:24
If you need help with a specific issue and want me to personally take a look at your setup, I can help! Check out the 'My Services' section of my blog: https://amarketingessentials.com/my-services/ 1st way to change text color: 0:36 2nd way to change text color: 1:37 If you want to see how you can change text color to ANY color you want and as many times as you want inside one headline, check out this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aimMbpJ7EBY&list=PLS46f4aLJ2hNASorSJ04itRrhsnZ00x5u&index=14 Hey all. In our last video, we talked about what A/B or split testing is and how to set it up on ClickFunnels. But we cannot forget the text either! In order to change font color on your headlines, you would have to select a color for your regular font, and then a different color for your BOLD font. The next step involves changing the text in your headline that you want to be colored to bold. So basically the text that is bolded will be one color, and the regular font will be another - so only two colors available this way. Alternatively, you can add a 'text block' when adding a new element, which is the 2nd option from the top-left corner. This allows you to edit your text in 'text editor', allowing you to customize your font, color, background color, etc for each particular letter or words that you want in your headline. However, keep in mind, the text here is limited in size and the maximum size as of now is 39 px for the text. The colors are also limited and you cannot create your own color - only pick a color that are already available in ClickFunnels. If you want to see how you can change text color to ANY color you want and as many times as you want inside one headline, check out this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aimMbpJ7EBY&list=PLS46f4aLJ2hNASorSJ04itRrhsnZ00x5u&index=14 Don't want to see my face or hear me talk? No problem! Check out my blog at: https://effort4success.com/2017/02/01/how-to-change-font-color/ In the next videos, we will be diving head first to build our own funnels based on a random promotion from ClickBank. How to Add Custom Fonts in WordPress Manually and Using a Plugin

06:58
Are you looking to customize the font on your WordPress site to make its design exactly how you like? Not all themes have a built in method to edit the font of your site and you may be looking to change this. In this video, we will show you how to add custom fonts to your WordPress site. Font Pair website: https://fontpair.co For selecting the fonts to use on your site you can use the Font Pair website for what would work well together and then you can visit the Google Fonts website at: https://fonts.google.com Select the fonts you want to add and there should be a new section at the bottom of the page where you can see the fonts you selected to add to your WordPress site. Expand that area and ensure you are under the Embed section for the correct code that you will need to add to your header. For adding the code you would want to use the plugin Insert Headers and Footers found here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/insert-headers-and-footers/ Under Settings, Insert Headers and Footers you will add the first set of code to add the fonts to your site. With that added and saved you will want to go under Appearance, Customize, Additional CSS and there you would be able to add the second code which lets the font be visible to you and your visitors. A second method would be using the Easy Google Fonts plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-google-fonts/ The plugin will add a new section under Appearance, Typography and there you will be able to select the font to use for each style location. We would still recommend only two fonts to prevent confusing your users. Our third method for this would be the plugin Typekit Fonts for WordPress: https://wordpress.org/plugins/typekit-fonts-for-wordpress/ With that plugin, you would be able to select fonts from the Typekit website, add the ID from the popup, and select where you want the custom font for your WordPress site to appear in your Appearance, Customize, Additional CSS section. After selecting it, go to the "Image" menu and click on the "Crop" option from the list. Transparent Text Effect | Photoshop Tutorial

05:37
This tutorial shows you the best way to make text transparent in Photoshop! Complete text version and PDF on my website: https://goo.gl/AHY2WR ► Get Photoshop CC 2019 here: http://bit.ly/Get_Photoshop_CC ► Subscribe to my channel here: https://goo.gl/yrk5u2 To create the transparent text effect, start by opening your image in Photoshop (0:14). Add a new blank layer above the image (0:18) and rename the new layer "Border" (0:33). Fill the layer with white (0:47), and then lower the layer's opacity to 75 percent (1:04). Select the Type Tool, choose your font, set your type color to black, and add your text (1:21). Resize the text using Free Transform (2:02). To make the text transparent, select the Type layer, and then open Photoshop's Blending Options (2:31). In the Layer Style dialog box, change the Knockout option to Shallow (2:47), and then drag the Fill Opacity slider to 0 percent (2:55). Click OK to close the Layer Style dialog box (3:01), and we can now see through the text to the image below. Resize the border around the text with Free Transform (3:14), and then adjust the opacity of the border in the Layers panel (3:40). Noe that If your image is on a layer other the Background layer, you'll need to place your Type layer and the "Border" layer into a layer group (4:00). And there we have it! TextBoxes 101

04:03
Drag, Drop, Publish! EverWeb: The Easy To Use No-Nonsense Website Builder! http://www.everwebapp.com In this video, we’re going to find out that there’s more to discover about TextBoxes than just entering, formatting and hyperlinking text. First let’s add a TextBox to the page. As you can see the TextBox uses a 12 point Helvetica web safe font . We can change the font to create our website’s own default style. To do this, just go to the Format, Default Styles menu and change the Body Text Font. In this example I am going to use the Avenir font. Next I am going to set the default Body Text Font Size to 20 point. For most websites you should usually use a font size of at least 16 point. It’s important not to forget to click ‘Save’ when you are finished so that your changes are applied. Now when I add a new TextBox, it adopts the new default style that I just set up. To add text to your page, you can use a TextBox and manually enter the text you want. Alternatively you can copy and paste text in from other sources such as a word processed document or from a web page. You can use Command V to paste in the text from the clipboard or use the Edit, Paste and Match Style menu option to match the pasted text with your font style defaults. With our text now on the page, I’m going to create a spelling mistake for the word Toolbar. Let’s spell check the page using the Spelling Options in the Edit menu. Select Edit, Spelling, Show Spelling to view the Spelling and Grammar dialog box. As you can see our word is flagged as misspelled. If I want to highlight a word in the TextBox I can just add a background fill to make a highlighter pen effect. With the text box still selected, I can change the character spacing of the text as I want. I can convert the TextBox into an image file when I publish my website. Usually you don’t need to do this unless you have a specific need, for example you have a Text based logo You can even have the selected text read back to you using the Speak option. Don’t forget that you also have the Format menu if you want to use superscript or subscript, if you want to quickly change the font size, or if you want to change the case of the text. Some of these options are also available by secondary clicking on the highlighted text. For the fullest range of text options, use the Fonts Panel which gives you most of the options you need all in one place. You can also add background shapes and images to your TextBox by using the Shapes menu. With the TextBox selected go to the Shape Options. In this example I am going to set the Shape as a ‘star’. Set the shape to ‘Color Fill’. The star resizes as you change the dimensions of the text box. Now let’s change the ‘Color Fill’ to an ‘Image Fill’. Set the fill option to 'Scale to Fill’ so that the star is filled with the image. If I set the ‘Shape’ to ‘Default’, the image now becomes a background for the text. In this example, I will change the text color to white so it can be seen better against the background image. Lastly, why not add animation features to your text boxes? Don’t forget that sometimes it’s best not to use TextBoxes at all. If you want to improve your SEO, why not use EverWeb’s Heading Tags widget for your page titles and page headings. Check out our You Tube video on Heading Tags for more info! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LOPqVs4ffHo

It's no wonder that in recent years WhatsApp became a huge part of our lives – it's convenient, quick and easy to use. Pretty much everyone has a large WhatsApp contact list and spend hours each day to catch up with their families, friends or plan some events! TIMESTAMPS How to change the font on WhatsApp 0:35 How to change font style on WhatsApp 1:04 Most popular contacts on WhatsApp 1:36 Muting group chats 2:03 How to make personal information private 2:33 Stop auto-saving 3:07 How to add dates to the calendar 3:35 Add a chat link to your home screen 4:01 How to send a message using Siri 4:28 Back your chat messages 4:53 Send a giant beating heart 5:27 Star the messages 5:49 How to secretly read messages 6:20 How to disable previews 7:03 Find out the exact time someone has read your text 7:33 SUMMARY - Just simply put this ` symbol three times before and after your text message! Like this, ` ` ` Hello!` ` `. - For bold messages, you have to put asterisks before and after your message (*Hello!*). You can send italics messages by adding underscores (_Hello!_). And your message can also be transformed to strikethrough by using tildes (~Hello!~). Plus, you can combine these styles by putting two or even all three symbols together (_~*Hello!*~_). - This works only on iOS devices. You can do that by heading to Settings and then picking Account and Storage Usage. You'll see the list of all your WhatsApp contacts and groups as well as the total number of messages you've sent and received for each one of them! - If there is some group chat or a person that's constantly bothering you with endless messages, you can simply mute it. Just pick the chat, click on its name or the name of the contact on top of the screen and select mute. You'll have an option to mute it for 8 hours, a week or even a year! - Go to Settings, then click Account and select Privacy. Here you can control what users will see your profile picture, status and last time you were seen on WhatsApp. - If you're sick and tired of constantly deleting unnecessary photos that your contacts message you, you can turn the auto-saving off. Again, go to Settings, then select Chats and turn off Save Incoming Media. - If you type a certain date in your message, it will appear as a hyperlink. If you tap on it, you'll be given an option to create an event in your calendar. So you can simply plan some adventures with your friends, work meetings or any other important events right from your WhatsApp. - If you're texting somebody pretty much all day or have a favorite chat that you need quick access to, you can easily add a link to it to your home screen. This works for Android devices. All you need to do is tap and hold on a chat and then click on three vertical dots on the top right of your screen and choose Add Conversation Shortcut. - Just say “Hey, Siri, send a WhatsApp to” and name the contact needed. - If you like to read old messages and get nostalgic from time to time, you can always back your history up on iCloud (for iPhone users) or Google Drive (for Android). If you have an iPhone and you want to back up a certain chat, just click on its name, then on the name of the contact and you'll see an option E-mail conversation. - If you want to express your feelings for someone in a whole other dimension, just send a red heart alone without any other emojis or words. You may think it's nothing much, but amazingly enough, it turns into a big beating heart. - For iOS users, there is a simple solution. Just double tap on a message and select the star icon. - When you receive a message don't open it right away and dismiss all the notifications. Then, set your phone on airline mode that will turn your Wi-Fi or Internet connection off. After that just open your app and read the text. - . WhatsApp thought about that and allowed its users to disable those little previews. To do so, you have to go to Settings, click Notifications and there you'll see the option Disable Show Preview. - Hold on any of your messages you're interested in and choose Info. There you'll see the time your message was sent and also the time it was read. Which one of these features did you like the most? Did you know about some of them?
