[Acts 7:36-40] He [Moses] led them out, performing wonders and signs in the land of Egypt, and in the Red Sea, and in the wilderness [of Midian/Saudi Arabia] forty years. Here is the one [Muhammad] whom Moses mentioned to the Israelite, ‘God will raise up for you a prophet [Muhammad] like me from your brothers.’ He [Moses] was in the assembly in the wilderness with the angel who spoke to him on Mount Sinai, and with our ancestors; and he received living words to pass on to us. But our ancestors refused to obey him. Instead, they rejected him and turned back to Egypt in their hearts. They told Aaron, 'Make us gods who will go before us. As for this fellow Moses who led us out of Egypt - we don't know what has happened to him!'

Check out these top unexplained mysteries of the deep ocean. From strange sounds captured in the deep sea by hydrophones such as the bloop, the train, and julia, to gigantic whirlpools, biggest underwater falls and the milky bioluminescent sea phenomenon. Underwater Falls Voted one of the most beautiful places on Earth, Mauritius is an island nation in the Indian Ocean. On the Southwestern tip of the island you will find a fascinating illusion. When viewed from above, a runoff of sand and silt deposits creates the impression of an ‘underwater waterfall’. But did you know there are actually real underwater waterfalls? Seven waterfalls have been discovered deep underwater. The tallest waterfall on Earth is not Angel Falls, but an underwater waterfall called Denmark Strait Cataract located in the Atlantic ocean between Greenland and Iceland. It is the world's highest underwater waterfall, with water falling almost 11,500 feet and carries 175 million cubic feet of water per second. It is caused due to temperature differences in the water on either side of the strait. Cold water is denser than warm water. And the eastern side of the strait is a lot colder than the western side. So when the waters meet, the cold water sinks below the warmer water, creating a strong downward flow, which is considered a waterfall. And it's not just waterfalls that are under the ocean. There are huge secret rivers, complete with rapids and islands that flow down the sea shelves out into the desert plains creating river banks and flood plains. Here's a picture of the river Cenote Angelita under the sea of Mexico. These salty rivers carry sediments and minerals and could be vital in sustaining life. The world's sixth largest river, by volume, is below the Black Sea. It is 350 times larger than the Thames and 150 feet deep in places. 8. Milky Sea Phenomenon For over 400 years, sailors told tales of a mysterious event that takes place far out in the Indian Ocean. They would come across miles and miles of milky glowing waters, sometimes stretching as far as the eye could see. In 2005, a group of scientists led by Dr. Steven Miller of the Naval Research Laboratory in Monterey, Calif., decided to take a closer look at this story to see if it was true. They managed to register about 235 observations and get a satellite image that showed an area of low lighting in the Indian Ocean about the size of Connecticut. Their samples that they collected indicated the presence of a type of bioluminescent bacteria in the water, known as Vibrio harveyi. This isn't the same kind of bacteria that you might see in waves that use their bright light to ward off predators. This bioluminescent bacteria may actually use light to attract fish, since its favorite place to live is inside a fish's gut. Scientists' guess is that since they only emit a very faint light on their own, they have to gather together to make an impact. Their collective glow can grow to massive, milky sea proportions when their numbers swell to a huge amount -- think 40 billion trillion. They may also congregate to colonize algae. Sounds like a party! It is still only a guess since Dr. Miller and his colleagues haven't determined exactly what causes the bacteria to gather. 7. Unexplained sounds Of course dark, creepy fog can make you jump at anything that goes bump in the night. But what about things that go "bloop" in the sea? With names like "The Bloop," "Train" and "Julia," the sounds have been captured by hydrophones, or underwater microphones, monitored by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). The decidedly nonspooky nicknames for these sounds do little to dispel the mystery surrounding them. In 1997, NOAA hydrophones 3,000 miles apart picked up one of the loudest sounds ever recorded off the southern coast of South America: the Bloop (which sounds exactly like its name, a bloop). The Bloop mimics marine animal sounds in some ways, but if it were some kind of sea creature it would have to be almost the size of the Eiffel tower for that sound to be heard from 3,000 miles away. So what made the sound? It's anyone's guess but deep-sea monsters aside, NOAA holds the most likely explanation for The Bloop is that it was the sound of a large iceberg fracturing. Sure.... Another weird noise known as Julia sounds almost like someone whining or maybe even singing under water. The eastern equatorial Pacific autonomous array (the fancy name for the network of hydrophones) picked up this strange sound that lasted 15 seconds in 1999.

After a life at sea, where do ships and submarines go when they retire? Why, they haunt still shores or stayed beached on dry land as they slowly rust and erode. Here are some of the most famous shipwrecks where they ended up. Subscribe to Talltanic http://goo.gl/wgfvrr 10. Sleeping Bear The shipwrecks found beneath the water’s surface in Sleeping Bear on located near the Lower Peninsula of Lake MIchigan. A famous ship found here was the Francisco Morazan, which sailed off from the city of Chicago back in 1960. There was over 940 tons of cargo when it was met with fog and snow, which proved too much for the ship. In the end, it was abandoned by the next month, which left the ship to just sink and rust into the lake waters since the owners of the ship were never found and there was no one to deal with the removal of it from the water. 9. Landévennec This ship yard is located along the Aulne River in north west France. Most of the ships seen here are military vessels near Pen Forn. The mountains surrounding the waters not only help it the site from being an eyesore, but their presence apparently help keep the water calm, ultimately making for a smoother decomposition of the old ships to disintegrate better. 8. Alexandrovsk-Sakhalinsky On the shores of this Russian town are lines of old submarines that sit decomposing in the water. These abandoned submarines are partially sunk in the water as they just await to rust. No one is sure just how many submarines can be found in these waters, nor is much else known about their condition or purpose. 7. Bikini Atoll Bikini Atoll is known as being a nuclear testing site, and it’s also a location where ships have sunk, creating an old shipyard site for the old sea vessels. The ships were part of atomic tests during the 1940s, one such being the USS Independence. Not only that, but there’s aid to be over 55 gallons of radioactive waste in drums dumped here as well. The USS Saratoga lies here as well, with a lot of the vessels found here having been forgotten about. 6. Sha’b Abu Nuhas In the depths of the Red Sea is a location referred to as the Wrecks of Abu Nuhas. It is the site of at least 7 shipwrecks that lie near the triangle shaped coral reef near the north western part of Shadwan Island. Of the ships were is the SS Carnatic, Olden, Kimon M, and as seen pictured here, The Giannis D. Divers come here all the time to check out the metal ruins of old ships that have met their demise in the open waters. Along with the rusted metal is a diverse amount of wildlife that also makes it a popular diving site. 5. Jervois Basin This body of water is seen an unfit for swimming, but that doesn’t stop people from checking out the wrecks found at the Jervois Basin in South Australia near the upper region of Port Adelaide River. Here you can see the skeletal remains of old ships in the process of ship breaking. It’s not the active ship breaking yard it once ways, and remnants of that part of history can still be seen here. 4. Curtin Artificial Reef It is one of the largest Reef Projects in the world and has been a site of wrecked sea vessels since 1968. Since then there have been over 32 ships, buoys, cars, and other pieces of vehicles and vessels that have been allowed to sink and become part of the reef. This shipwreck in Australia was established by the Underwater Research Group of Queensland and is a project that has attracted much more marine life to the waters. 3. Aral Sea The dry sand pictured here would be the last place you think you’d see so many ships come together as they sit all run down in the sun, and yet the ships on the Aral Sea are some of the most prominent and famous in the world. Located in a basin in the border of the countries of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, the shipwrecks of the Aral Sea have been a strange sight to behold ever since the level of the sea started to rapidly decline by the 1960s. 2. Skeleton Coast If these skull and crossbones gates are anything to go by, it the fact that Skeleton Coast in Namibia are one of the most well known shipwrecks in the world. Skeleton Coast is found along the coast of Namibia along a coast that touches that Atlantic Ocean. Rusted ships have been beached here, the environment rusting and breaking them down to seem like skeletal formations along the beach. Gadani This is one of the top 3 largest ship breaking yards in the world and is still one of the most active. Gadani, located 50 miles northwest of Karachi, Pakistan, is a yard that is the location of 132 ship breaking plots. A few decades ago, it was the largest ship breaking yard in the world, and even now that it has been surpassed on that front, it is still one of the most well known and leads the world in its ship breaking efficiency.

From amazing art to a mysterious train, these are 13 of the most bizarre underwater discoveries. Subscribe to Talltanic http://goo.gl/wgfvrr 10. The Cancun Underwater Museum has over 500 underwater sculptures dedicated to the Art of Conservation. The unique attraction offers divers a spectacular view of the statues that can be seen from a glass bottom boat. The museum began its venture in Cancun in 2009 and was completed in 2013. Each figure was made from a PH neutral cement, coral, seaweed and algae. The reason for this is to help benefit and protect coral reefs. Coral reefs can be created from sunken ships that fall to the bottom of the ocean floor. Creating statues are used to help save the ocean by creating a new way to grow coral reefs. 9. MS Zenobia was a Swedish ferry boat that sank on her maiden voyage in 1980 near Larnaca, Cyprus. After passing through the Strait of Gibraltar in route to Athens Greece the captain began to notice problems associated with steering. Once they arrived at Larnaca, the problem occurred again and the computerized pumping system was forcing additional water into the adjacent ballast tanks because of a software error. A few days after the ferry sank and sank in Larnaca Bay. Now it is a favorite dive site for visitors in Cyprus. 8. From land, the swimming whole Angelita looks like an average swimming hole. It is located in the Yucatan in Mexico. Divers have to plunge down to nearly 100 feet underwater to see the river. The “Underwater River,” is a cenote that is just an optical illusion produced by a cloud of hydrogen sulfide intermingling with the surrounding saltwater. 7. USS Oriskany is nicknamed the “Mighty O”. Was one of the small amount of Essex-class aircraft carriers finished only after World War II for the United States Navy. The ship was called for the Battle of Oriskany through the Revolutionary War. The aircraft carrier saw years of combat through both the Korean and Viet Nam Wars before the carrier was purposely sunk to become part of the world's largest artificial coral reef. 6. Several miles off New Jersey’s coast there lie an unanticipated site below the ocean’s surface. Two trains were found in 1985 but no one knows for sure how they got there. The most excepted theory behind how the locomotives got there is that in the 1850's the trains were being transported from the place they were built to their new home which was likely a rail yard. Because the locomotives were small, they could have been pushed overboard into the sea. Now the trains give an interesting spot for divers. 5. Yonaguni Monument is located off the coast of the Ryukyu Islands, in Japan. The monument is connected to a large rock mass in the ocean and believe to have been deposited over 20 million years ago. The main monument is a rectangular formation which measures 490 by 130 ft. The rock formation is made out of moderate to very fine sandstones and mudstones. Scientist who have studied the formation have concluded that some of the features could be manmade. One scientist believes that the site could be fragments of the legendary lost continent of Mu. 4. The SS President Coolidge was an ocean liner from the U.S. The large ship saw its nautical days finish after yielding to mines near the large military base on Espiritu Santo. Now the ship is used as a dive site. Divers can see a mostly intact cruise liner and a military ship. They can swim through numerous parts of the ship. There are guns, cannons, Jeeps, a stunning statue of "The Lady", chandeliers, and a mosaic tile fountain. Coral grows around the ocean liner where the divers can view sea creatures such as reef fish, barracuda, sea turtles and moray eels. 3. The Titanic, was the world’s largest cruise ship sank on her maiden voyage on April in 1912. The ship was touted as “unsinkable” and was supposed to be one of the safest ships ever built in history. She collided with an iceberg, and nearly half of the passengers lost their lives due to the inadequate supply of life boats on board. 2. The Lion City is a real life Atlantis located in China. The city was purposely flooded to make way for a build hydroelectric power station in 1959. Unfortunately, the city was forgotten but remains largely intact for being underwater for fifty years. Currently, there are plans in the works for divers because they like to use the metropolis to use as a tourist site. 1. SS Thistlegorm merchant ship that was sunk during World War II in the Red Sea. She set to sell for Alexandria, Egypt when two bombs were dropped on her from above. The bombs struck the stern of the ship, and it quickly sank. The ship and holds everything from vehicles, motorcycles, ammunition and other weaponry. Now the SS Thistlegorm is used as a recreational diving site.

Scientific databases showed the island to be about the size of Manhattan. Discovered in 1876 by a whaling ship, Sandy Island has been included on maps for more than a century, including, obviously, on Google Earth. When the Australian scientists arrived at the location, the only thing they found was open ocean. There was no other island that could have possibly been Sandy in sight. It just wasn’t there. So what happened to it? Did it sink beneath the waves? Was it just a figment of our imagination? It's possible that what the whaling ship had seen was a pumice raft, a floating raft of frothy light rock produced by volcanoes that can float around for years before breaking up. The island had gained so much fame it actually had an obituary published for it in April 2013. In it the researchers explained how the phantom island could have remained in geographical mind and maps due to human error. This "undiscovery" made headlines around the world and reminds us that despite modern technology, there are still mysteries to be solved in the ocean. Google and National Geographic quickly removed Sandy Island from their maps. Pentagram One thing's for sure, this is no crop circle or accident, this pentagram was placed there on purpose. Located in Kazakhstan, this is sure to lead any suspicious mind to the devil’s door. The 5-pointed star surrounded by a circle measures 1,200 feet (366m) in diameter. Located on the shore of a desolate lake, the pentagram shows up crystal clear on Google Maps if you wanted to look it up yourself. When the image first rose from the underworld to the internet, many were quick to link it, and Google, to devil worship. The pentagram is an ancient symbol used by many cultures and is not always satanic. It turns out that it is simply a park. Archaeologist Emma Usmanova has worked in the region for years and explained that its pathways were purposefully designed to create the shape of a star. The star is marked by roads lined with trees, making the shape stand out. The star was a popular symbol during the Soviet Union and many guessed that the site may have been an abandoned Soviet campground. Desert Spiral Google maps has frozen this double spiral in time. When people first saw the formation located in the Egyptian desert near the coast of the Red Sea, all kinds of theories arose. Crop circle, alien message, even a portal to an alternate universe. It’s too large and perfectly designed to have been created by any one person. Well, it was actually created by three women. Known as the Desert Breath, it is a super sized art installation created by DAST Arteam, a trio of Greek artists in March of 2007. The piece covers an area of about 10 hectares (25 acres). According to the artists it’s meant to "celebrate the desert as a state of mind, a landscape for the mind.” The spiral is made up of cones made from sand and is subject to natural erosion. Over time it will disappear and become part of the desert plain once more. Syrian Holes Images of the current civil war in Syria is by no means new to the internet. While the destruction on a human level has been caught by photographers and news coverage, satellites have also recorded the damage to hundreds of archaeological sites. All six of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the country, which are considered widely to be one of the oldest occupied areas on Earth have been damaged or destroyed. You can see the destruction for yourself if you were to look up Apamea via Google Earth. The location of the ancient Roman city is now a sea of pockmarked holes stretching over the entire area, left by looters since the start of the wr. Looters and treasure hunters have dug over 4000 holes looking for uncovered treasures to sell on the black market to finance the wr. These holes are about 2-3 meters across and in some cases are used to store weapons. Airplane Graveyard This might be one of the biggest, and coolest, graveyards you ever see. Located in Tucson, Arizona, the Davis Monthan Air Force Base is where U.S. military planes often find their final resting place. The cemetery stretches 2,600 acres and has been nicknamed “The Boneyard.” While the site is closed to the general public, modern day technology holds nothing sacred, not even the dead, and images of it are available for all to see on Google Earth (and other interactive maps). And it is something to see indeed.

Snorkeling is the practice of swimming on or through a body of water while equipped with a diving mask, a shaped breathing tube called a snorkel, and usually swimfins. In cooler waters, a wetsuit may also be worn. Use of this equipment allows the snorkeler to observe underwater attractions for extended periods with relatively little effort and to breathe while face-down at the surface. There is one special place that simultaneously terrifies and has unexplainable pull: 300 ships gone missing, 75 aircrafts never found; you're right, that's all about the Bermuda Triangle. Few people are aware of what the life is like at the bottom of the Bermuda Triangle – are you ready to meet the most shocking and scary creatures ever? Dragonfish live at the staggering depth of 5 to 7 thousand feet. This fish looks quite terrifying, with its black coloring and the light it produces on its own. Unlike other deep-water inhabitants, dragonfish produces light in the infrared range while the blue and green range is what other fish stick to. Vampire Squid has the largest eyes in terms of proportions in the world and is born to live in the depth. These animals are also covered with photophores which distract predators and lure prey. The mouth of the gulper eel is loosely hinged which makes it extremely wide and big. In fact, the length of the jaw of the eel reaches one-fourth of the length of their body. Despite being the owner of an enormous mouth, the gulper eel has tiny teeth, and this means that it isn't supposed to prey on large animals. The Goblin Shark reaches 13 ft in size and is also called the Vampire Shark due to the fact that it avoids light at all cost. Due to this feature, you can see the shark in its natural habitat only if you go as deep as 890 to 4300 ft. Pharynx, a complex feeding apparatus that helps Eunice Aphroditois catch the prey, can turn inside out, not unlike glove fingers. It has strong and extremely sharp mandibles which can easily cut the prey in half due to the strength and speed of the worm's attack. These are just some of the creatures that lurk in the depth of the Bermuda Triangle. Who knows what other unbelievable horror-movie beasts we can meet there? The Red Sea is a bay of the Indian Ocean. It is situated in narrow gorge of the earth's crust, formed millions of years ago between the Arabian Peninsula and Africa. Its area of almost 500 square kilometers, with more than two-thirds of the sea is located in the tropical belt. The average water depth from 500 m to 1 km. But in the middle of the sea is a crack dissecting it into two parts. Depth there from 2.5 to 3 km. It is only one sea of the world has no river flows. Suez Canal in the northern part of the sea - the handiwork of man, he rather narrow, so the natural circulation of water occurs only in the southern part of the sea. At Red sea there are nearly 200 species of coral, which paint the bottom of the sea in different colors. They absorb calcium from the water, and then one polyp clings to another - and it turns out the skeleton of the coral. Here you can see a light-yellow and orange corals, red corals, purple corals (the list is endless). In form they are also quite varied: spherical corals, flat corals or bushy corals. But this diversity creates only living coral. Died corals, they lose their color and volume, and they leave only white skeletons. Corals grow very slowly - a little more than 1 cm per year. Its amazing how much it took years to grow so huge coral reefs! JOIN VSP GROUP PARTNER PROGRAM: https://youpartnerwsp.com/ru/join?96331

Whether it’s a research station investigating some crazy stuff or possibly something from out of this world here are 12 strange places in Antarctica. Subscribe to American EYE! 4. Lake Vostok, Antarctica The main reason for the research station is this mysterious lake on antarctica. Located on the inhospitable continent of Antarctica lies a freshwater lake, but you won’t be coming here anytime soon. It’s located 13,000 feet below an extremely thick layer of ice. The water beneath the ice sheet hasn’t seen the surface of earth in millions of year. Scientists took on the extremely difficult challenge of drilling through the ice and came across something shocking. They found over 3500 different species of organisms. What interesting about this is that a moon called europa also has a thick layer of ice over a liquid water ocean. If things could survive the conditions in antarctica, they most likely could on this moon, increasing the chance of alien life by a long shot. They even found things like fish, and this shrimp which were much more complicated organisms than they expected. Here you see one of the species of shrimp that was found below over 2 miles of ice at lake Vostock 3. Plateau Station Antarctica This is currently an inactive research center at the Antarctic plateau . Construction first began on December 13th 1965 and it was built for solar observation, micro meteorology studies, atmospheric studies and other things. This is the 2nd coldest place on earth and the lowest recorded temperature here was negative 123 degrees F on July 20, 1968. Summers here are obviously short and are always below zero degrees F. The winters are long, frigid and dark, making you wonder why anyone would want to do research here. A scientist there stated that every breath he took outside was painful and you had to worry about freezing your lungs or throat while inhaling. 2. Antartica Blood Falls- If you ever somehow get the chance to visit the continent of Antarctica, you might run into the red colored waterfalls in streaming into the ocean. It may look like a vampire hideout or someone had an accident on the ice. Although this isn’t the case, you’d probably want to stay away anyways. The water in the area is extremely salty and won’t even freeze even though it’s well below the normal freezing point. When the glaciers begin to form here, iron rock was scraped here from the ground below. Oxygen in the air turned the iron rich water into a bright red which leaves an eerie appearance. 1. UFO Crash Antarctica is a massive continent that remains for the most part unexplored. If a UFO had crashed on the land, how would we know? Google Maps! UFO enthusiasts are convinced that this is exactly what happened and they are claiming that it's a-- true crash site. Th--ere is indeed snow that was disturbed and it appears to be a hole in the shape a flying saucer. Alien Hunter from Russia, Valentin Degretev says, “In amongst endless ice desert, it is the most genuine UFO in the most classic shape. So if not a UFO, what -could it be? Skeptics believe it's just a crack in the ice. Until someone goes to the location for themselves, we won’t know for sure. Some claim that an update on the site show what looked like 4 tanks just a few yards away.

This is the Fraser River Delta just in front of Vancouver BC Canada, this is where sea water meets fresh water. The river water from Fraser River, flowing into the ocean water of the Strait of Georgia. Modern Science has discovered that in the places where two different bodies meet, there is a barrier between them. This barrier creates a noticeable line, as each water body has its own temperature, salinity, and density. If you go on google earth and look up Fraser River or Sea Island which is an airport right at the water edge, you will see this boundary line stretching for miles. We all know that the easter island heads have bodies – that’s not a mystery at all. But how did the easter island population build hundreds of statues? Scientists have recently solved this mystery and discovered where these people disappeared to and why. For many decades, people's minds have been occupied with the mystery of Easter Island. A remote piece of volcanic soil, far away in the Pacific Ocean... But our planet hosts thousands of such lonely islands, what is so particular about this one? The mystery is concealed not in the island itself but giant stone statues covering it. Who created the world-famous huge stone heads? Did they serve any specific purpose? Where did their creators arrive from and where did they disappear? Well, it seems the answer is finally just around the corner! TIMESTAMPS What do we know about Easter Island? 1:05 Amazing facts about Easter Island 2:18 How have the statues been moved around the island? 5:25 How could create Easter Island monuments? 7:24 What happened to people on Easter Island? 8:09 SUMMARY - Where is Easter Island located? Rapa Nui (which is the name given to Easter Island by its first inhabitants) is the territory of Chile and is situated in the southern Pacific Ocean. And it is so, so far that you can easily consider it one of the most distant places on the world's map. It lies 1,200 miles away from Pitcairn, which is its closest neighbor. - What's the main secret of the statues? Most statues (834 out of 887) were carved from the material called tuff which is, in fact, compressed volcanic ash. Curiously, all the statues except one group face inland. It means their backs are turned to the ocean. Perhaps the reason for that was the belief that the statues were the protectors of the villagers that's why they overlooked the settlement. The only statues not fitting into this pattern can be found at Ahu Akivi, a sacred place for the people of Rapa Nui. - Theories about how the statues had been moved. One of the most popular ones among the lovers of mysteries was the belief that the statues had been created and moved by aliens. But even if you like this theory, we are sorry to debunk it. The stone the statues were built from originates from the island itself. The birthplace of most of the material was an extinct volcano situated in the north-east of Easter Island and not another planet. - A new study about the island. A new study has been conducted recently to specify the maximum number of the inhabitants in the heyday of the island's civilization. The results arrived, and they were quite unexpected. It turned out that as many as 17 and a half thousand people could comfortably live on the island. At least 19 percent of the land could be covered with the fields of sweet potatoes that used to be the main source of food for the population. What is more, the islanders consumed quite a lot of seafood and fish. - Why did people on Easter Island disappear? At first, it was believed that the reason for such a decrease of the population was an ecocide. The natives cut out large forests and palm trees making spare room for moving the statues around as well as agriculture. They thought the trees were going to grow back fast enough. It was a misleading concept. The deterioration of the environment resulted in hunger. And this, in turn, led to wars and cannibalism. Nowadays, however, such a theory has been proven wrong. First of all, Rapa Nui inhabitants seemed to be very talented agricultural engineers. They deliberately fertilized the fields with the volcanic rock. In fact, another research has shown that people had been living on the island for many centuries. And the population only started to decrease when Europeans began visiting.
