Introduction to Market Assessments

03:07
Markets play a central role in the lives and livelihoods of people. Sudden shocks such as natural disasters and conflict can have a strong negative impact on people’s capacity to access basic commodities. Market assessment and analysis should be an integral part of any emergency needs assessment to best identify the most appropriate response and to ensure we do no harm to the very people we are trying to support. Tools like the RAM and MAG strengthens response options analysis and can reveal possibilities for market based interventions to best support the affected population return to their normal lives as quickly as possible.

Amazon Product Depth in the Market Assessment - DIGGARR Amazon Product Finder

05:26
WWW.DIGGARR.COM So i get a lot of questions on what exactly do i mean by the DEPTH IN THE MARKET. This is a very important metric or what I call the KPI (Key performance Indicator) that indicates the demand for a product on Amazon. The basics are as follows... We sum the following data to get a monthly average across the TOP 10 SELLERS How many sales per month? Must be at least 3000 units sold or more What is the monthly Sales percentage for the top 2 sellers. This percentage should be much less than the rest 8 of the sellers. So for example a product has a good depth in the market if... Total Units Sold in 1 Month : 3000 Total % of Units Sold by First Top Seller: 10% Total % of Units Sold by Second Top Seller: 10% Total % of Units Sold by the other 8 sellers: 80% If the above are the values, then you know there is a huge demand for this product. Of course there are other KPIs that I talk about in the video.

The Circular Flow Model of a Market Economy

12:37
By this point in your course you may have learned the definition of a market: A place where buyers and sellers meet to engage in mutually beneficial exchanges. But what is a market economy? Two basic types of markets exist in any market economy: resource markets and product markets. The exchanges that take place in these markets benefit both the households and the firms that engage in exchanges. This lesson will introduce the circular flow of money, resources and goods and services in a market economy. We will examine how resources flow from households to firms, and goods and services from firms to households. We will also seek to explain why individuals are willing to engage in the exchanges that characterize the market system. Optimize Yourself Financially - My Own Playlist: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wR71N8450WI&list=PLXN0XO_WBISnCMZd_qDr1pfSAP50mq0M4 If you want to buy the pen I just sold a few boxes of to Elon Musk, you can get it here: http://amzn.to/2w7o6Nl If you're not happy with it I will definitely come in person to pick it up from you. Just email me at [email protected] Audible 30 day free trail: https://goo.gl/x64Vb9 Website: https://primedlifestyle.com/ Instagram: Primed Sell me this pen article: http://senatorclub.co/best-answer-to-sell-me-this-pen-i-have-ever-seen/ Sell me this pen is actually a very common demand when you go to a sales interview, and it’s not only something you see in movies. If you ever get asked this question, I want you to know exactly what to say. After watching this video, you will be able to not only convince the person asking, but blow them away with what you answer. So in this video, I will break down what to say when someone asks you to sell a pen, so you will be able to create a jaw dropping scene and crush any sales interview. when they ask this question, they will be able to see how good you are selling any product by your response. Your resume will come in second if you can demonstrate the art of selling, because that’s what it is. An art. There are four sales skills the person asking is looking for when you get asked to sell a pen. The following is the right framework so that you can respond perfectly every time. First, they want to see how well you gather information. Second, how well you respond to information. Third, how you deliver information. And last, how you ask for something, or how you close. You find out how they last used the pen, emphasize the importance of the activity they last used the pen for, sell something bigger than the pen, you know, get emotions involved. Then close it by making an offer he simply can’t decline. What if he says he’s not interested in buying your pen? Move on and realize you’re better off spending your time selling the pen to someone else. So just remember that you’re not selling the pen, but you’re demonstrating how well you can sell a product and if you master the framework and the art of selling. If you think this might help just one person in sales, please share the video with them. SWOT analysis in practice - Starbucks -------------------------------- Strategy analysis has two main branches – analysis of a firm’s external environment and analysis of a firm’s internal environment. SWOT is a famous framework that allows us to combine the two types of analysis. SWOT is sometimes referred to as internal-external analysis. The acronym SWOT stands for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. The first two, Strengths and Weaknesses, are related to a firm’s internal environment, while the last two, Opportunities and Threats, consider its external environment. Internal strengths and external opportunities are vertically paired as helpful elements, while internal weaknesses and external threats are paired as harmful elements. if we perform a company analysis, under strengths, we would expect to see its core competences, the areas where the business excels and has a competitive advantage over competitors. Weaknesses are areas that need improvement. Such vulnerabilities place a company at a disadvantage when competing against other firms. Opportunities can be seen as favorable factors existing in a company’s external environment, in the industry where it operates, and have the potential to improve its current results and competitive positioning. Threats arise in a company’s external environment and might harm its current business.

Market Feasibility Study: More Important Than a Business Plan

09:14
http://www.driveyoursuccess.com What could be more important than a well-defined and well-researched business plan? Well, most entrepreneurs think that having a business plan is the first thing they must do. Unfortunately, they're wrong. A market feasibility study is the all-important first step. After all, if the market is dying or won't allow your new venture to enter, then why bother with a business plan? No matter how strong your business plan is, if your market isn't willing to give you a chance, or is unhealthy, then you won't get anywhere. This video explains why performing a market feasibility study is so important to successfully starting a new business. It defines the health of the market, the potential for market growth and your chances of succeeding. This video explains how the information you gather through your study can be used to make your business plan that much better.

SaaS Sales Funnel in 3 Basic Steps (Especially In The Early Days) | Dan Martell

07:34
Do you have an important sales call coming up that you’re nervous about? In this video, I share the basic 3-step process to an effective sales conversation (especially for SaaS Founders). Are you a software founder? Get my free weekly SaaS resources here: http://www.danmartell.com/newsletter + Join me on FB: http://FB.com/DanMartell + Connect w/ me live: http://periscope.tv/danmartell + Tweet me: http://twitter.com/danmartell + Instagram awesomeness: http://instagram.com/danmartell When I started in business I couldn’t sell to save my life. After two failed companies I decided to fix that. My solution? Driving around nights & weekends in my silver, 94’ Volkswagen Jetta listening to every sales audio book I could get my hands-on. Some nights, I had Ziglar riding shotgun. On other nights, it was Carnegie, Tracy or Hill. And after dozens of books, I’ve distilled it down to 3 key areas: 1) Connect & Qualify 2) Needs Assessment + Close 3) Follow Up I actually made a HUGE mistake calling this “101 stuff” because there’s nothing basic about it. Without the time I invested, and the thousands of hours of selling under my belt it would’ve been hard to see the pattern. Over the years, I’ve taught this to hundreds of people and they’ve gone on to close new deals in less than 30 minutes. Nothing pumped me up more than to hear someone take a call and walk away with an order. In this week’s video I break it down so that anyone can do this and get the same results. One of the most important skills you can learn is to communicate with someone else, and quickly assess if you can help them. To do that requires great questions. So, what do you ask to get to a customer's challenges or issues? What do you ask to help move the sale forward? One of my favourite questions is, “What would it take to make this a no-brainer for you?” Leave your best question as a comment and if I see at least a dozen I’ll share a couple more. See you in the comments! Dan “simple isn’t always easy” Martell Don't forget to share this entrepreneurial advice with your friends, so they can learn too: https://youtu.be/wrtsWcs520I ===================== ABOUT DAN MARTELL ===================== “You can only keep what you give away.” That’s the mantra that’s shaped Dan Martell from a struggling 20-something business owner in the Canadian Maritimes (which is waaay out east) to a successful startup founder who’s raised more than $3 million in venture funding and exited not one... not two... but three tech businesses: Clarity.fm, Spheric and Flowtown. You can only keep what you give away. That philosophy has led Dan to invest in 33+ early stage startups such as Udemy, Intercom, Unbounce and Foodspotting. It’s also helped him shape the future of Hootsuite as an advisor to the social media tour de force. An activator, a tech geek, an adrenaline junkie and, yes, a romantic (ask his wife Renee), Dan has recently turned his attention to teaching startups a fundamental, little-discussed lesson that directly impacts their growth: how to scale. Demand for a factor of production by a firm reflects the same inverse relationship with the factor's price as demand for a good or service. But there's a bit more to the theory of resource demand. This lesson introduces resource markets and "marginal revenue product", which determines how much of a resource a firm will demand at every quantity.
