yoox.com pays homage to Milanese design, famous the world over for its excellent craftsmanship and high quality manufacturing. The project involves nine new talents from small ateliers, artisan workshops and industrial design studios or freelancers in Milan, each presenting an exclusive collection of objects that are all MADE IN MILANO.
Located in the heart of Milan, Laboratorio Paravicini is Benedetta Medici and Costanza Paravicini’s workshop, a space in which craftsmanship and design blend in order to create handmade plates inspired by the legendary production of Lombard ceramics. Unique and limited edition pieces are hand-decorated with brushes or by using screen or digital printing.
Graduated in Architecture in 2005, Cristina Celestino launched Attico in 2010, for which she personally follows the creative process, production and marketing. She collaborates with numerous companies and collects Italian design pieces from the 20th Century. Her designs have been showcased at the Triennale Museum in Milan as well as at Shanghai’s Biennale.

After graduating from Milan’s Politecnico University, Elena Salmistraro founded Alko Studio with Angelo Stoli, a design and architecture firm. In 2010 they also launched Alla’s, a brand specializing in fashion and design. Elena collaborates with several companies as a product designer, artist and illustrator. Her pieces have been showcased in exhibitions such as “The New Italian Design” and “The New Aesthetic Design”. Salmistraro also took part in PADIGLIONEITALIA.

Ilaria Innocenti was born in 1983 and lives in Milan where she works as a designer and art director for both national and foreign design companies. In 2012 she created Ilaria.I, a furniture brand for which all pieces are entirely made in Italy. Her decorative work is composed of free-hand drawings, textural and inspirational pieces. Her work was showcased in Milan’s Triennale Museum during the “Auto da sé” exhibition.
OSANNA VISCONTI DI MODRONE:
Osanna Visconti di Modrone was born in Rome and lives in Milan where she carries out continuous research on shapes and volumes in her studio in the heart of the city. She also collaborates with various masters of local craftsmanship. Her work reflects her passion for art, which began during her childhood, as well as her know-how in gemology.
BORROMEO & DE SILVA
Borromeo & De Silva was founded in 2011 by Carlo Borromeo, Fabio de Silva and Filippo Sgalbazzi. After various international experiences, they chose the city of Milan for the headquarters of their company. Today their studio is made up of a team of top designers who each have a diverse expertise. Their unique vision is based on style, high quality and Milanese tradition.
Francesco Meda was born in 1984 in Milan, where he also graduated in Industrial Design. Shortly after graduating he moved to London to work in Sebastian Gergne and Ross Lovegrove’s studios. Once back in Italy, he began collaborating with the Schoeni Art Gallery of Hong Kong, Henraux, Luce di Carrara and Caimi Brevetti. In 2013 he launched his own brand and showcased his creations at the Triennale Museum in Milan and at the MAXXI in Rome.
Born in 1980, Valentina Cameranesi Sgroi studied product design and communication between the ISIA in Rome and the Essen University in Germany. After a brief experience in Paris as an illustrator, she returned to Italy where she designed womenswear and design products for Diesel. Today she is a freelance consultant and collaborates with numerous businesses and editorial companies as an art director and set designer.
Founded in Milan by Emiliano Salci and Britt Moran, DIMORESTUDIO collaborates with significant realities from various areas. Together with the brand, they produce creative projects that vary from architecture, design, art and fashion. They combine simple and sophisticated signs as well as references to past and future eras which are addressed to an audience that thinks “outside the box".
