In my subjective view, ASMR is 2 things: a sensation and a medium (like music for example). The sensation itself (ASMR) stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response and is the current (non-scientific) name given to the feeling characterized as a pleasurable tingling sensation felt in the head, scalp, back and other regions of the body in response to visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, and/or cognitive stimuli, such as crinkling bags, hand movements, whispering and personal attention. ASMR videos, the medium, are not only meant to help induce the sensation or "tingles", but also help provide a relaxing, calming and soothing experience for the viewer while helping to relieve their anxiety, stress, headaches, insomnia, to help those suffering with PTSD or depression, to serve as a study aid and much more. It is quite therapeutic, for both the creator and recipient, not much different than the mediums of music and painting. Many people who do not experience ASMR still enjoy the videos for their calming and sleepy affect.

Wind dream interpretation, Wind Dream Meaning, Wind Dream Comment,

00:48
A light wind in a dream new events, changes, innovations, points to that he will like. The news that would change the conditions of all life gives the strong wind. He tells the wind from the sea would be very pleased with the new terms. The wind blowing from Sea to land is also great news. Indicates that your money would go to innovations and changes during the wind at sea level. The people will be uncomfortable because of the changes indicates that a hot wind. A wind so cold as to freeze the marrow of the events will gain importance as the conditions have changed is interpreted as the years before. Drifting with the wind, no one does go a very long way. Flying with the wind, the pleasure of flying with a man's life would be completely different. It is a beautiful dream. Çeviri : Cafer Dikyol

How did early Sailors navigate the Oceans? | The Curious Engineer

06:21
Do you know how the early sailors navigate the oceans? The technology today makes it real easy to navigate the oceans. But it's very interesting to know how the early sailors managed to navigate without it. There's a lot of history on it. I tried my best to compile some important and interesting parts of it into this video. Living Above the Storms of Life by Walking on the Sea of Glass

01:55:10
The life of Jesus is filled with Overcoming the Storms of Life. He knew how to Walk on Water, as a Sea of Glass, in which there is no agitation, no storm and no disturbance. Every human being is driven by the thoughts that oppose their decisions. They make an effort to advance, to progress and to succeed, but they all face numerous challenges. The Bible used a profound analogy to describe what happens in human heart and mind. It is illustrated in the different stories when the disciples got into a boat and sailed into the sea. The wind began to blow, the waves arose and the stormy waters opposed what the boat was used for: To Go to the Other Side. The fear gripped the disciples and they saw themselves ‘perishing’, forgetting what they had heard from Jesus. They, like any other believer, came to a place where they did not know the will of God, as they knew when Jesus got them in a boat. They doubted whether they were going to get to the promised ‘Other Side’. This challenge rises almost every day, in this world. We know the promised of God, but the thoughts, questions, doubts, uncertainties and reasoning paralyzes the soul. But there is a solution! It all arises from the big mouth of the Egyptian Sea, which speaks louder in our ear, forming a Beat out of the waves, opposing the commandment of God. The answer is Peace! It is demonstrated by a clear crystal Sea of Glass. Revelation 15 shows a group of people standing on this Sea, as those who had overcome the Beast of that Sea. This video brings out a wisdom for overcoming the winds and the waves. It is all about teachings and doctrines we adhere to. --- Welcome to: ASCENSION NIGHTS Series! Eric Clapton - Tears In Heaven (Official Video)

04:35
"Tears in Heaven" is a ballad written by Eric Clapton and Will Jennings about the pain Clapton felt following the death of his four-year-old son, Conor, who fell from a window of the 53rd-floor New York apartment of his mother's friend, on March 20, 1991. Clapton, who arrived at the apartment shortly after the accident, was visibly distraught for months afterwards. This song is one of Clapton's most successful, reaching #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart in the U.S. The song also spent three weeks at #1 on the American adult contemporary chart in 1992.

PowerPark North Sea

03:11
150 natural gas production platforms are installed in the Dutch sector of the North Sea. They produce gas from small fields, which is crucial in maintaining a decreased dependency on foreign gas. These platforms can be vital in distributing the electricity of wind farms at sea. Because in the future, energy will mainly be generated by off-shore wind farms. Far away and out of sight. Transporting the electricity to land requires a new, expensive infrastructure. A and the construction of new substations. A multi-billion investment. Through the use of the existing off-shore oil and gas rigs, there is a cheaper and more sustainable solution to this. Some rigs can be converted into substations so they can act as auxiliary stations, or a “hub”. The transport cables can then be laid from platform to platform, along the existing, and permanently monitored, natural gas pipelines. Allowing wind energy to be transported from wind farms to land with less loss of power. Another advantage is that platforms can then generate energy for their own machinery from wind rather than natural gas. This minimizes CO2 and other emissions. Making our natural gas production cleaner. In the longer term, this combined infrastructure can be expanded, to form the basis of future wind farms even further off-shore. This will help to reduce the cost of installing these new farms. And this type of new, integrated infrastructure presents new opportunities. Such as connections to other countries. What’s more, in the future, an excess peak in electricity production can be converted to gas. This is called Power to Gas. This gas can be injected into the existing gas transport system. If necessary in the future, CO2 can also be stored in empty - gas fields offshore by using the natural gas infrastructure of pipelines and platforms. Collaboration between the gas and wind sectors in the North Sea also means sharing equipment for transport and maintenance. Another opportunity to save costs. Geological and ecological knowledge can also be shared. As has been agreed non-functioning platforms will be dismantled and cleaned up. But this can blocks new opportunities. Such as exploiting the 125 currently undeveloped gas fields offshore. And it slows down the expansion of affordable off-shore wind energy. Synergy between gas and wind creates an integrated energy system: the generation, storage and transport of energy. Thanks to Power Park North Sea!

Modern Industry - Statoil's Hywind - First large operational deep water floating wind turbine

04:02
Wind energy was harnessed as the primary source of renewable energy propelling ships, mills, pumps etc. for millennia, long before electric grid became standard but the wind was within a short period of industrialization quickly overshadowed by cheap coal and oil, which still propelling our society as main power generating sources in 21st-century. Even when more advanced and much cleaner methods were developed over half-century ago, they were until recently unable compete on cost at least in short term, whatever due high initial construction cost for nuclear power plants, or due to fact that health issues associated with dirty fuels are often like in case of smoking in moderate amounts clearly obvious only after years or even a decades of exposure or after increasing quantity... This makes especially renewables like solar or wind until recently mostly useful in small scale projects for further development or creating a good public image. But years and millions spend on R&D starts paying off as we reached the point where clean energy sources becoming more affordable than our dirty heritage. This together with the development of large-scale power storage facilities greatly increasing the feasibility of both wind and solar as lack of wind or sun will not require keeping old power plants in full numbers on emergency status to prevent blackouts. While wind energy saw rapid growth in deployment during the last decade on land and in the shallow sea, deep water areas (depth 150m or more) where wind turbine can due lack of obstructions on long distances generate power in profitable quantities easier was until recently mostly limited to small-scale research projects trying to solve challenges behind assembly and installation. Statoil company with focus on extracting oil and gas was among those who foreseen potential future markets and invested in what become while not first floating turbine (that title goes to Blue H Technologies with somewhat complicated 80kW floating turbine design deployed in 2008) it was first large (2,3MW) deep water wind turbine operating from 2009 in the North Sea to prove the feasibility of the concept and help polish design into a commercially viable solution. Years of gained experience in operation including surviving 11m high waves without damage culminated in improved design that will be soon deployed as a large wind farm located offshore Scotland with construction currently planned to start this year... When the surface breaks will I find paradise? As I freeze to death, left to reflect, what a waste of time I was, in retrospect. I’d take a leap of faith, but I’d lose my nerve. In the end, I’ll get the hell that I deserve. I’m always gone with the wind. Crawling in and out of my mind. God knows, I lost all my faith. A sickness with no remedy, except the ones inside of me. You ever wonder how deep you can sink into nothing at all? Disintegrate. Annihilate me. Do you remember when you said to me, “My friend, hope is a prison.”? Of all the patterns that I could create, I built a labyrinth with no escape. To keep my ‘self’ under lock and key. I am my own worst enemy. A sickness with no remedy, except the ones inside of me. You ever wonder how deep you can sink into nothing at all? Disintegrate. Annihilate me. If I could silence all the doubt in me, accept that what is meant to be, is meant to be. You ever wonder how deep you can sink into nothing at all? Disintegrate. Annihilate me. #Architects #Epitaph

Lifecycle of Hurricane Sandy - All Five Simulations at Ultrafine Resolution

06:24
These visualizations show how the NCAR-based Advanced Hurricane WRF (Weather Research and Forecasting Model) has depicted various aspects of Hurricane/Superstorm Sandy unfolding over four days (96 hours) in October 2012, from 1200 GMT / 8:00 am EDT 10/26/12 to 1200 GMT / 8:00 am EDT 10/30/12. The model simulations were updated every second. In these videos, each frame is separated by 30 minutes of model time. Each segment in this compilation includes a full-frame visualization, followed by a zoomed-in version of the same sequence that shows the highest-resolution results (500 meters between points). All segments include vectors that show horizontal wind speed and direction at 1000 meters (about 3300 feet) above mean sea level. The length and color of the wind vectors correspond to wind speed (legend not shown). Longer vectors denote stronger winds. Each segment is also available as a separate video in this Playlist. --Simulation 1: (00:32--01:44) Temperature of the atmosphere at cloud-top height, overlaid with 1000-meter horizontal wind vectors. Shading of clouds corresponds to cloud-top temperature in degrees C (legend at upper left). Higher cloud tops are generally colder. --Simulation 2 (01:44--02:57) Maximum simulated radar reflectivity, overlaid with 1000-meter horizontal wind vectors. Colors indicate the reflectivity (in units dBZ) that a network of radars would observe if located across the ocean and nearby land. Warmer colors (higher dBZ) generally indicate more intense precipitation. . --Simulation 3 (02:58--04:12) Potential temperature at 1000 meters above mean sea level, overlaid with 1000-meter horizontal wind vectors. Potential temperature is the temperature that a parcel of air would achieve if it were raised or lowered from a given pressure height to the 1000-millibar pressure height. Values are shown in degrees Celsius (legend at upper left). --Simulation 4 (04:12--05:26) Wind speed at 1000 meters above mean sea level, overlaid with 1000-meter horizontal wind vectors. Color field denotes wind speed in meters per second (1 m/s = 2.24 mph). --Simulation 5 (05:27--06:20) Trajectories of air parcels, overlaid with 1000-meter horizontal wind vectors. Each strand shows the path taken by an air parcel over time, starting at the 1000-meter level. The model tracks new air parcels from the 1000-meter level as if the parcels were "seeded" every four hours, but no cloud seeding has occurred (the term refers to instructions given to the model to track a new parcel). Colors indicate potential temperature in Kelvins (legend at upper left; 273 K = 0°C = 32°F). This is the temperature each parcel would achieve if it were raised or lowered from a given pressure level height to the 1000-millibar height. When moisture in a rising air mass condenses to form clouds and precipitation, the heat added to the atmosphere through condensation can cause the potential temperature of an air parcel to increase. ABOUT THE COMPUTER MODELING Researchers began with observations collected at the beginning of the four-day period. They started, or initialized, the AHW model with those data. The model itself, which captures the atmospheric physics associated with hurricanes, then predicted Sandy's behavior over the following four days. The resulting "hindcast" (a forecast conducted after the fact) closely matches the actual behavior of the hurricane/superstorm. The modeling was performed using the Blue Waters Cray XE6 supercomputer at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA). The simulation and resulting visualizations are among the most detailed ever conducted for a particular hurricane, with conditions tracked every 500 meters (about 1,600 feet) horizontally. Since the model includes 150 vertical layers, this means that weather conditions were calculated at more than four billion points for each second in the 96-hour simulation. Facts About Wind Energy

04:13
Visit: http://www.windturbines.com/ Wind power is the conversion of wind energy into a useful form of energy, such as using wind turbines to make electrical power.Wind energy is the kinetic energy of air in motion, also called wind.Large wind farms consist of hundreds of individual wind turbines which are connected to the electric power transmission network. Europe accounted for 48% of the world total wind power generation capacity in 2009. In 2010, Spain became Europe's leading producer of wind energy, achieving 42,976 GWh. Germany held the top spot in Europe in terms of installed capacity. In 2010, more than half of all new wind power was added outside of the traditional markets in Europe and North America. This was largely from new construction in China, which accounted for nearly half the new wind installations (16.5 GW). Compared to the environmental impact of traditional energy sources, the environmental impact of wind power is relatively minor in terms of pollution. Wind power consumes no fuel, and emits no air pollution, unlike fossil fuel power sources. The energy consumed to manufacture and transport the materials used to build a wind power plant is equal to the new energy produced by the plant within a few months. While a wind farm may cover a large area of land, many land uses such as agriculture are compatible, with only small areas of turbine foundations and infrastructure made unavailable for use.

Most MYSTERIOUS Ocean Phenomena!

12:36
Check out the most mysterious ocean phenomena! From bizarre and strange deep sea mysteries to ocean phenomenon you won't believe actually exist, this top 10 list of unexplained natural phenoma is very mysterious! A Steaming Sea While not unknown in terms of cause, it is still mysterious that this happens at all. Above certain bodies of water, depending on temperature and the weather around it, a sea or ocean can actually appear to "steam". It has also been called other things like a foggy or smokey sea. 12. Sea Foam From "boiling" seas to seas that can apparently create foam, this is by and large one of the weirdest things that people can see if they go to the ocean. As you can see, it's literal foam, and it piles up rather high along the shoreline. Now, unlike the steam I showed you before, this one doesn't have a definitive explanation. 11. The Mystery Of The USS Scorpion The USS Scorpion was a nuclear submarine that disappeared in 1968. It was a fast attack submarine and was known for its special operations. It was able to film a soviet missile launch and flee the scene before being caught. There were 99 crewmen aboard and when it tried to deliver a signal, and failed to return to port on time, it was presumed lost. 10. Beached Whales You’ve probably all seen the pictures and footage of people trying to help a whale get off of the beach and into the water once more. It is a rare and impactful thing to see such a large creature stuck and helpless in the sand. But, have you ever asked...how did it get on the beach in the first place? 9. The Green Flash While not technically an ocean thing, it's a series of events that is influenced by the ocean. If you look at the sunrise or sunset over certain bodies of water, you'll sometimes see a "green flash". Have any of you seen it?? Let me know in the comments because I used to live near the beach but have never seen a green flash myself! 8. Underwater Volcanoes Now, everyone's heard of a Volcano, but, when you think of them, you likely think about the massive body of land rising from the depths, or a long dormant entity erupting with great power and destroying everything in its path like Pompeii. Yet, under the water, volcanoes erupt more than you think. In fact, it happens in a way that is both mysterious, and beautiful. 7. Rogue Waves Anyone who's sailed in seas with massive waves know that there are several things to fear. But few are as terrifying and fearsome as Rogue Waves. Though there are explanations as to why they happen, it doesn't help the ships that get hit by them. 6. Bimini Road All roads lead to Rome, and many people are wondering if that’s the case with Bimini Road in the Bahamas. Researchers and archaeologists of all kinds have come to study the huge, flat stones that are set perfectly for about half a mile long. 5. Red Tide Some of these phenomena are downright deadly. Such as the infamous Red Tide. No, not the Alabama football team, the actual Red Tide! This event is one of the most dangerous things threatening the ocean and its inhabitants, and it even threatens humanity. 4. The Convergence The Convergence is another name for the meeting of the Baltic Sea with the North Sea in Skagen, Denmark. These are two bodies of water that very naturally come together off the coast of Denmark. Here’s a map so you can see what I’m talking about!! 3. Bioluminescence For creatures under the sea, there are some who have learned a very interesting technique to ward off foes, Bioluminescence. Or more literally, the ability to make yourself glow. It's not hard to imagine the shock and fear of seeing something you're about to eat begin to glow with blinding light. 2. Atlantis The legend of Atlantis is one of the greatest stories ever told. But the question has always been, is it really a legend? The story goes as far back as Plato, who is not known to be a liar, and yet, despite numerous surveys of the ocean, it's never been found. 1. The Bermuda Triangle The holy grail, perhaps the most unexplained phenomena in the history of the oceans...the Bermuda Triangle. This place, which spans from Florida to Puerto Rico to Bermuda, has claimed the lives of many, and has sunken both ships and planes and many other things that dare to infringe upon its waters. Everyone was scared that you could go there and just disappear. Origins Explained is the place to be to find all the answers to your questions, from mysterious events and unsolved mysteries to everything there is to know about the world and its amazing animals!

ASMR Scalp Massage from a Friend at the Harbour | Seagulls, Hair Brushing, Whispering [Binaural]

17:50
Hello, my little Night Owls, I found this bench in front of a beautiful white lighthouse on Scarborough harbour and had the urge to film a little video as the sun fell below the horizon. Although the seagulls were cawing and the cormorants were flapping in the water I still think that the sounds can be relaxing. So sit down besides me as we have a little chat and look out onto the beautiful North sea... Thank you and Goodnight! What is ASMR? ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. It is a very technical term for a very simple feeling. Most people experience ASMR when they are a child from Chinese whispers (as we called them), a teacher showing you something in class to a trip to a spa or hairdressers. There are thousands; maybe even millions of different triggers out there tailored to different types of Visual, Auditory and Chemical stimuli. It is often described as a tingling sensation from your head that tends to travel all through your body (if you're lucky enough)! Although very little scientific research has gone into the study of ASMR, thousands of people have admitted that it helps them in reducing stress/ anxiety levels, insomnia and their general mood outlet. I believe this is because of the types of hormones that are being released by the brain as an innate survival technique from stressful situations. Sort of like the opposite of a 'fight or flight' response. However, I am not a scientist by any standards! ASMR cannot replace any serious condition and for this, I would visit your local medical practitioner. Yet it still never fails in helping thousands of people every day. Calhan Wind Farm Presentation For the Colorado Springs commissioners

05:58
I created this video with the YouTube Video Editor (http://www.youtube.com/editor) INTRODUCTION: Mr. Mott is a power systems engineer with 40 years experience in the field, and a Colorado professional engineer. His early career included 4 years as a nuclear power systems engineer. He is an expert in conventional power systems, solar thermal and electric systems, hydro-power, distributed generation and wind power. Approximately 30% of Mr. Mott's active practice is forensic engineering investigations of failed or distressed engineered systems including mechanical, civil and structural disciplines. INFORMATION ON THE SLIDES: Mr. Mott received notification of the Golden West reactivation of a failed wind farm design intended for a populated area east of Calhan, Colorado in 10/13, then sent a letter to Golden West on 11/4/13, intended to be forwarded to GE for an explanation. The reply from GE on 11/22/13 proved to be 100% non-responsive. After discussion of an NDA, which Mr. Mott agreed to, an NDA was never provided. Finally, on 12/5/13, Mr. Mott received the data, marked as confidential and proprietary. It is important to spend a little time on this in order to illustrate the deception employed by Golden West and GE-Energy. The deception starts with the name plate rating of 1.7 mw. This is then multiplied by 147 to 250 mw for the facility. But the 1.7 mw is based on two assumptions that are not true: 1) sea level air density. 2) assumption of a wind velocity much higher than the industry standard of 16.7 mph, and one that provides 3.2 times the energy of the established average wind velocity at Calhan. If Golden West and GE Energy manipulate the assumptions without clearly defining them, they can make the name plate rating of these turbines equal what ever rating they desire. Using 6800 feet elevation, the average wind velocity as defined by Golden West Documents, using the proprietary and confidential GE-Energy load curve and applying additional loss factors provided by GW, the rating of these turbines in terms of actual predicted energy production is 0.7 mw (700 kw). The maximum power capacity of the facility is thus 104 mw, not 250 mw. This distorts the first cost issue. If the actual rating is used, the first cost ratio rises to 7.2 to 1. This also inflates the apparent power level, hiding the non-viability of the projects. Golden West provided a PUC Decision document that sheds light on this. The PUC 31.25 mw rating compensates for a non-dispatchable power source, requirements for spinning reserve to be maintained, and loss of efficiency for thermal plants running at less than optimum load. If ELCC is applied, first cost is $12,800/kw, and the wind project costs 24 times more than conventional technology. ELCC at 12.5% is also an interesting parameter from the PUC. It implies that the PUC is aware of the "Great Name Plate Rating Scam". The value of 12.5% is very low, and should be about 30% to 35% if applied to real power ratings. By using a value as low as 12.5%, the PUC is telling us that the published name plate ratings from wind energy promoters such as Golden West are false and need to be corrected by a factor of approximately 2 to 3. This project could be replaced at 100% ELCC by a 100 mw gas turbine occupying the area of ONE wind turbine. A stand alone plant would require about 5 acres, a ratio of 5000:1 in terms of land area alone, and could be located where the Excel customers are located rather than at the end of a 25 mile transmission line. The PUC 12.% factor also applies to grid compatibility, the idea of wind being grid friendly. The lower value to the grid allows for direct comparison of wind with conventional methods. The PUC 31.25 mw PUC de-rate compensates for non-dispatchable power source, requirement for conventional spinning reserve to be maintained, and loss of efficiency for thermal plants running at less than optimum load. Wind power is not dispatchable, i.e., not controllable. It can also cause grids to be unstable if used in too high a percentage. Spinning reserve is required to compensate for non-dispatchable power, one of the hidden costs of wind power. It is not grid friendly. Current studies in Canada suggest that infra-sound is a health issue up to 3 km, or 9800 feet. If that set back were applied to this project, there would be no room for turbines at this location. If current GW set backs are used, there is no room for future homes...value of land would drop dramatically.

Wind and Rain Sounds for Sleeping - Thunder and lightning storm by night

01:04:46
Wind and rain sounds for sleeping. Thunder and lightning storm recorded on a windy night for more than hour long. Real video, not static picture. After 20 minutes of rain, you'll can hear the sound of the wind blowing and the windows rattling. Also there's some loud thunder sounds that you'll could like. Sometimes you could hear distant traffic but it's not annoying. Use headphones for a most relaxing experience if you want to listen to this video for sleep. If you like thunderstorm and rain storm videos, take a look to this playlist, you'll love it ! https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLRVFntYsIkFFbxU3ndZu1I4kv7e-UxDgp In Acerting Art I upload a kind of videos called SlowTV. Slow television, or slow TV, is a term used for a genre of live "marathon" television coverage of an ordinary event in its complete length. Its name is derived both from the long endurance of the broadcast as well as from the natural slow pace of the television program's progress. It was popularised in the 2000s by the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK), beginning with the broadcast of a 7-hour train journey in 2009. This videos can be used for meditation, stress relieve or for beat insomnia. Usually there's a lot of videos that have a sound very similar to white noise sound, for example rain sounds, a vacuum cleaner or a hair dryer. 6-29-2018; Tropical Storm Emilia Now Generating 60 MPH Wind; Low Over N. Mexico Targeted

14:56
(Fri.) Tropical storm Emilia is developing quite slowly compared to the previous tropical storms the past month which spooled up within 24 hours into CAT 3 & 4 hurricanes; this is because of the timing of the transmitters targeting the system. The water temperature in this area remains the same. Repeated targeting and superheating of the system at shorter intervals will prevent development of the storm. The selected power applied by the transmitter will also effect how quickly the storm develops and breaks down. The superheating process disrupts the convection in the storm which is essential for development. Looking at the Eastern Pacific Visible Light map, Emelia has been targeted and a small 'dimple' feature shows where the transmitter has targeted the weather system. In the following frames we see an expanding pressure wave and blast pattern emerge from the East side of the storm as a result of the superheating process. A developing low pressure system near the Mexico & New Mexico border is being targeted by the same transmitter - a rectangular imprint is clearly visible, and in the IR maps we see a hole opening up near the New Mexico are as a result of the superheating process. (I was pointing to the wrong area on the map when explaiing this). The squiggly isobars in the 500 & 300 mb pressure maps are not naturally occurring but confirm the manipulation we're seeing on the IR, Visible and Watervapor satellite maps. By the way, these maps are all U.S. government maps from the NOAA, yet on mainstream television, viewers are never shown these maps as was the case back in the 1970's and into the a portion of the early 1980's. The reason for this is that Wall St. is involved in making money off of the covert manipulation of our weather. Weather options & derivatives are being sold through the Chicago Mercantile & Weather Exchanges as well as Wall St. hedge funds. See the website www.artemis.bm to get an idea of the lunacy going on. Betting on the weather seems preposerous until we understand that our weather is being completely controlled many weeks in advance. The "long term" forecast we hear about is nothing more than a sampling of what the weather controller leak to the media.

Not Dust in The Wind : UFO Sky Life Rods Orbs Nano Creatures Real and Easy to Observe

04:57
MUSIC: Children on Stun : Sidelined, Pandora's Box The sky looks pretty normal, eh? Well, zoom in with the proper light, and I assure you that there will be much to see. If you watch with your eyes - just stick the camera on a tripod and ignore it for a bit - and narrate aloud what you are seeing visually, this will make the situation much clearer when you play this back. There will be loads of objects which you fail to mention in your narrative... because you did not see them. Gazing into the Sun is not something which is medically advisable - though there are those of us who do this. Luckily, you do not have to stare directly at the Sun to see that you do NOT see insects, dust or the other humongous luminous things which streak across the sky. Just use your eyes as you narrate to the camera. This quick clip was randomly selected - note that prior to zooming, we have a clear sky with no zooming insects visible. It is not a matter of whether the "other" things are there - it is simply a matter of HOW YOU OBSERVE what is absolutely ALWAYS there. Videos such as this should stimulate a desire to observe - my sky is no different from your own in terms of its contents. My camera and video skills are certainly NO better than your own, either. In this clip, I am using Manual Focus with the infinity setting. Using the Solar Obliteration Technique to obscure the direct Sun, and here, the "low light" camera setting - we can see that what appears to be an empty sky actually contains a great number of critters. Some call these things "rods", orbs, demons, angels, sea life of the sky, nano creatures, glow insectoids, visible frequencies... and just as once the microbial world was deemed to be the imaginary figments of unholy minds, I tentatively call these things "part of our world". I do believe that there are change taking place and that these things are either more numerous at this time, OR possibly there have been changes which only NOW enable us to see/film them... some will say that this activity is demonic, evil and the deceptive work of a dark force... while others state that this is the intersection of the angelic realm with our own... I make no statements either way - but do take note that the world of microbes DID portend BOTH good and bad results for mankind. There are beneficial microbes and then there are the not-so-beneficial microbes. Our understanding of such things ENABLES us to make decisions, take action and come to a fuller comprehension of our existence and well-being here on Earth. Therefore, I submit that some of what we are seeing here MAY FALL into that same realm. We cannot know if these things bode well for us until we understand them... Comments on my videos are by approval, as I see no reason for me to encourage the already-abundant rudeness and nonsense instigated by people with too much free time and very little curiosity about the world. There are plenty of other similar channels for you to troll - you don't need another. No one loves silliness more than I, but "time, place & manner" are kept in mind here.... I do allow comments which contain an actual observation, opinion, theory... and I ENCOURAGE you to share what YOU have discovered.

THEY CALL THE WIND MARIA

04:37
Maria.....or Mariah....The song from the film "Paint Your Wagon" (filmed in Baker County Oregon), is the aural backdrop for these images compiled along front line of the Elkhorn and Blue mountains and out to the blue water sea wall of the Pacific coast. A path that transits the Cascades through the Columbia Gorge and follows the historic Oregon and Lewis and Clark Trails. On 26 March 1806 in his log, Meriwether Lewis states "The wind blew so hard this morning that we delayed until 8 A.M." Numerous times they, like the pioneers who followed, would encounter and chronicle this persistent force that native groups had described with a variety of terms that alluded to its speed, its direction and even its temperament. The Oregon Trail is mostly gone these days, paved over by roads and "all that we call the progress of civilization". Ezra Meeker's attempt to preserve and idolize this veritable human scratch of endeavor left on the lithosphere is well understood and appreciated. However, with or without congressional appropriations, there is one thing along the trail that remains as fresh today as it was in the days of the birth of the legend of the Thunderbird. In 1852, as her family worked their way up the Blue Mountains along that trail ....Martha S. Reed wrote in her diary: "Saw 3 graves today,....weather cool and 'tremendous' windy".....Bring Martha into the present and she would no doubt, except in some cases, not recognize much of the landscape along that route of human toil. But one thing she would recognize... that hasn't changed one aeolian iota....since the days of her transit of it......she would indeed recognize it's wind. Maria is one of my favorite songs. I hope you enjoy my rendition of it on my 12 string guitar(s) and through the magic of my Tascam porta-studio.....at the same digital time... my trusty old saw This video was produced as a part of a video series I'm producing on the Winds of The Grande Ronde Valley.. Thank you for listening.

Storm Wind and Clouds of Nature

Free video about Storm Winds. This free video was created for you by http://epsos.de and can be used for free under the creative commons license with the attribution of epSos.de as the original author of this Storm Winds video. Thank you for supporting the creative commons movement !! The term Storm Wind called a strong wind event. As Storm winds are with speeds of at least 20.8 m / s (74.9 km / h) or 9 Beaufort called. A Storm Wind with a wind speed of at least 32.7 m / s (117.7 km / h) or 12 Beaufort is a hurricane called. In between is called at 10 Beaufort by a heavy and at 11 Beaufort by a gale. Achieved the wind only a short time Storm Wind strength, we speak of a Storm Wind gust. As a rule, with a Storm Wind and strong rains connected, which is why the term often colloquially as a synonym for a heavy rain or a Storm Wind is used, but both are just side effects or special cases of a Storm Wind. At Sea is to the wind-caused high waves also the designation Storm Wind in use, with less emphasis on the most simultaneous precipitation. Depending on what stirs up a Storm Wind and making it occurs together, one speaks further of a snow Storm Wind, hail Storm Wind, sand Storm Wind or dust Storm Wind. In mountains arise Foehn Storm Winds as dry wind event. A distinction is sometimes used on the season, you will, for example, speaks of a winter Storm Wind. Such distinctions are particularly useful in agricultural and forestry damage in the impact assessment of significance. Storm winds can occur when high pressure gradient (high pressure differences on a relatively short distance) occur. These are known as Storm Wind often in the area of strong low-pressure systems available. Furthermore Storm winds caused by topography-induced channeling the wind, for example, as valley winds in narrow valleys. Storm Winds often occur over the sea, since there is less ground friction is present. Thus, the winds can develop better than on the mainland and achieve significantly more likely to gale force. In addition, tropical cyclones, so hurricanes and typhoons, occur only over the sea and weaken rapidly over land masses from. Direct Storm Wind damage affecting mainly covering of roofs or other Winds in wooded areas of the property damage is added. Also of importance are indirect, for example by deposits of sand on agricultural land in a sand Storm Wind or hail damage. For people the greatest danger from flying debris, falling branches and toppling trees, and optionally from damaged supernatural power lines going out, so it is safest in the rule of residence for the duration of a Storm Wind inside buildings. Many insurance companies pay a Hurricane - when locked, Storm Wind damage insurance - only when the wind is proven wind force 8 has been reached. Over Storms understand the general insurance conditions for residential buildings a weather-related air movement of at least wind force 8. Similarly, after which it is an atmospherically induced air movement of at least wind force 8 must act to Beaufort. Thus, the insurance law concept differs from the meteorological terminology. Thickness 8 means according to the relevant Beaufort scale "Storm Windy wind, the branches of trees breaks and much more difficult to walk in the open air." The policyholder a building insurance claiming the existence of a Storm Wind can be exposed in borderline cases, difficulties of proof. For the detection of a Storm Wind damage, it is certainly not necessary that the evidence for a direct impingement of air movement of at least wind force 8 on the insured building is provided. Many recent insurance conditions be satisfied that have occurred in the vicinity of Storm Wind damage. Otherwise satisfies the Karlsruhe to view even that the building damage caused by air movements have occurred and in its vicinity at the same time a Storm of wind speed is 8 occurred. Storm Wind is a very strong wind in a large-scale weather system depression. The area within a depression where gale force prevails we call Storm Wind field. Storm Wind is defined as wind with a wind speed of 9 or more on the Beaufort scale. This means that the average speed of the wind speed reaches over 10 minutes of at least 75 km / h. Is the wind speed averaged over 10 minutes at least 90 km / h then spoken of severe Storm Winds. At an average speed of 103 km / h, one speaks of very heavy Storm Wind force 11. 1983 Romanillos | A Distant Wind by Frank A. Wallace

08:00
A Distant Wind | a medieval romance for solo guitar in two movements by Frank A. Wallace played on 1983 Romanillos Thanks to Aaron Green for the use of his gorgeous and rare guitars for these videos. Learn more: http://www.vintageclassicalguitars.net BUY sheet music & learn more: http://gyremusic.com/products/distant-wind/ A GIFT TO BO AND CHRIS I wrote A Distant Wind as a gift for Bo Isholm, his wife Hanna, and Connecticut guitarist Christopher Ladd. In July of 2018 Chris traveled to Torshavn, Faroe Islands where Bo and Hanna live. Together with Ragnar Olsen, guitar; and Angelika Nielsen, violin; they performed new works by Kristian Blak and myself at the 2018 SUMMARTÓNAR Festival. Bo is a guitarist, lutenist, teacher and former music school administrator. I met him in the summer of 2011 on a tour he helped organize in the Faroe Islands. The region is a small wonder of nature—home to grass, sky, ocean, humans, sheep and birds! The appearance is stark, but the amazing variety of color and light through clouds and mist is captivating. Chris is a long time friend who teaches at the Hartt School of Music in Hartford, CT. He and I share a deep love of chamber music, and Chris performs in various ensembles with other guitars, flute, violin and more. I have written music for Chris in the past and he has performed several of my solo works as well as ensemble pieces, most notably As It Could Be, commissioned by the Hartt School for their 50th Anniversary commemoration of the guitar department and its founder Richard Provost. ROMANCE WITH THE PAST The term romance has many meanings: excitement in love; a dream come true, a ballad in ancient literature, lush music or painting. I refer to A Distant Wind as a romance for all these reasons. The distant wind refers to the past coming back to life with new meaning for now. The piece develops from a starkly medieval style to a romantic ending. Bo and I share many paths on the course of life, and one is a romance with ancient music as well as modern. We have had romances with both lute and guitar at various periods in our lives. And so the transformation in the music represents our own love of all life and times. Bo and I also have romances with our wives. Recent struggles with health issues for all four of us have made those relationships even deeper and more important. I pray for Hanna and Bo in their difficult time, and I hope this small offering may be of spiritual delight to them. I know Chris also shares a deep connection with his wife and family. ROMANCE WITH THE ISLANDS Having performed there in 2011, I was invited to return to the Faroes in the fall of 2017 to play with Bo and present music of fellow Faroese musician Kristian Blak and myself. Kristian is the director of Summartonar Festival, a summer long celebration of life, art and music in the Faroes. The deep spirituality of the people is evident from the minute one sets foot in a home. Walls are covered in art, couches adorned with homemade wool weaving and pillows. Everyone seems to be an artist and the festival reflects this deep connection to human creativity. Life interrupted my plans. Serious illness forced me to cancel my trip. Bo told me then that major health issues were effecting a close member of his family. But the show goes on, and so I completed Gryphon for violin and guitar this past winter. I finished my arrangement of an earlier song for three guitars and violin called Woolgathering and I found a dear friend to substitute for my presence—Christopher Ladd of the Hartt School in Hartford CT. The second movement, is dedicated to Chris in thanks for his loyalty and adventuresome spirit. THE MUSIC A Distant Wind hearkens back to medieval times with the use of parallel fourths and fifths. These open harmonies were the harbinger of polyphony about a thousand years ago. I performed this music in the 1970’s and 80’s with Trio LiveOak. In the Middle Ages beautiful resonances were achieved by very simple harmonic means with two or three voices and the same approach is vibrant on the guitar; I enjoy working in this archaic style. TWO MOVEMENTS I have written several solo works for both guitar and mandolin in two sections, always with a dramatic slow first movement and a fleet presto to follow. Each has been named after an iconic bird: White Albatross, Blue Heron, Caracara, Black Falcon. This piece fits the mold and so I name each movement for two great sea birds of the Faroes. I) Tjaldur: The Eurasian oystercatcher (Haematopus ostralegus). Their annual arrival on about 12 March is celebrated by the Faroese people as the start of spring. For this reason, the tjaldur is recognized as the national bird of the Faroes. II) Drunnhvíti: The European storm petrel (Hydrobates pelagicus), or drunnhvíti, can be best observed in Nólsoy in the biggest colony of the species in the world. All Frank A. Navy’s Rs 2,000 crore order is wind in HSL’s sails

03:07
Hindustan Shipyard Ltd has won a contract to build two diving support vessels (DSV) for the Indian Navy, chairman and managing director of HSL, Rear Admiral (Retd) LV Sarath Babu said on Monday. Talking to TOI, Admiral Sarath Babu said each of the DSVs would cost Rs 1,000 crore. The DSV is used by the Indian Navy to help in emergencies like a submarine sinking, or to provide material to submarines. He said HSL had won the contract through a competitive bidding process. “We have completed the price negotiations, and expect to sign the work contract soon,” Admiral Sarath Babu said. The first DSV would be delivered within three years of getting the contract, and the second one will be due for delivery within 12 months of the delivery of the first vessel. Asked whether HSL had the capabilities to build the specialised vessels, the HSL chairman said the shipyard, which was set up in 1941, had the wherewithal in terms of technology and manpower to design, construct and deliver the vessels to the Indian Navy on time. “For highly specialised technology and labour, we will bring in outside consultants for the purpose, but we will deliver the vessels to the Indian Navy’s satisfaction and also on time,” Admiral Sarath Babu said. The Navy contract has come at the right time for HSL, which is struggling to stay afloat as orders for ships dried up several years ago forcing it to depend mainly on ship repairing works to stay in business. The retired rear admiral said apart from the DSV contract, HSL was also being considered to repair an Indian Navy submarine. “The repair work is for medium-term retrofit and life certification. As part of the contract, we will increase the life span of the submarine’s service by seven years,” he said. The submarine retrofit contract is expected to last for at least three years. HSL is expected to get the contract in early 2018. “HSL will now have enough work for the next few years. The only major issue we have to handle is the legacy issue of the company’s losses,” he said. The company had appealed to the Union government for a financial restructuring package. If the government approves the restructuring, HSL’s negative net worth of Rs 750.51 crore would be erased from its books. In FY 2016-17, HSL posted revenues of Rs 650.08 crore with an operational profit of Rs 38 crore. Operational profit of a company is the profit before interest and taxes. Gone with the Wind (1/6) Movie CLIP - Scarlett Meets Rhett (1939) HD

02:43
Gone with the Wind movie clips: http://j.mp/1BcYIU9 BUY THE MOVIE: http://bit.ly/2cqCesz Don't miss the HOTTEST NEW TRAILERS: http://bit.ly/1u2y6pr CLIP DESCRIPTION: After Ashley (Leslie Howard) spurns Scarlett (Vivien Leigh), she meets the notorious Rhett Butler (Clark Gable). FILM DESCRIPTION: Gone With the Wind boils down to a story about a spoiled Southern girl's hopeless love for a married man. Producer David O. Selznick managed to expand this concept, and Margaret Mitchell's best-selling novel, into nearly four hours' worth of screen time, on a then-astronomical 3.7-million-dollar budget, creating what would become one of the most beloved movies of all time. Gone With the Wind opens in April of 1861, at the palatial Southern estate of Tara, where Scarlett O'Hara (Vivien Leigh) hears that her casual beau Ashley Wilkes (Leslie Howard) plans to marry "mealy mouthed" Melanie Hamilton (Olivia de Havilland). Despite warnings from her father (Thomas Mitchell) and her faithful servant Mammy (Hattie McDaniel), Scarlett intends to throw herself at Ashley at an upcoming barbecue at Twelve Oaks. Alone with Ashley, she goes into a fit of histrionics, all of which is witnessed by roguish Rhett Butler (Clark Gable), the black sheep of a wealthy Charleston family, who is instantly fascinated by the feisty, thoroughly self-centered Scarlett: "We're bad lots, both of us." The movie's famous action continues from the burning of Atlanta (actually the destruction of a huge wall left over from King Kong) through the now-classic closing line, "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn." Holding its own against stiff competition (many consider 1939 to be the greatest year of the classical Hollywood studios), Gone With the Wind won ten Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Actress (Vivien Leigh), and Best Supporting Actress (Hattie McDaniel, the first African-American to win an Oscar). The film grossed nearly 192 million dollars, assuring that, just as he predicted, Selznick's epitaph would be "The Man Who Made Gone With the Wind." CREDITS: TM & © Warner Bros. For the First Time in Forever - Frozen HD 1080p

03:42
For the First Time in Forever is a song from the animated film Frozen to be sung by Anna (Kristen Bell) and Elsa (Idina Menzel). The song expresses Anna's delight at being able to see people again due to her sister's coronation. Meanwhile, it discloses Elsa's fear of accidentally revealing her powers to everyone. Lyrics by Robert Lopez & Kristen Anderson-Lopez: Anna: The window is open! So's that door! I didn't know they did that anymore! Who knew we owned eight thousand salad plates...? For years I've roamed these empty halls Why have a ballroom with no balls? Finally they're opening up the gates! There'll be actual real live people It'll be totally strange But wow! Am I so ready for this change 'Cause for the first time in forever There'll be music, there'll be light! For the first time in forever I'll be dancing through the night... Don't know if I'm elated or gassy But I'm somewhere in that zone! Cause for the first time in forever I won't be alone I can't wait to meet everyone! (gasp) What if I meet... the one? Tonight, imagine me gown and all Fetchingly draped against the wall The picture of sophisticated grace... Ooh! I suddenly see him standing there A beautiful stranger, tall and fair I wanna stuff some chocolate in my face! But then we laugh and talk all evening Which is totally bizarre Nothing like the life I've lead so far! For the first time in forever There'll be magic, there'll be fun! For the first time in forever I could be noticed by someone... And I know it is totally crazy To dream I'd find romance... But for the first time in forever At least I've got a chance! Elsa: Don't let them in Don't let them see Be the good girl You always have to be Conceal Don't feel Put on a show... Make one wrong move And everyone will know But it's only for today Anna: It's only for today! Elsa: It's agony to wait Anna: It's agony to wait! Elsa: Tell the guards to open up... the gate! Anna: The gate! For the first time in forever Elsa: Don't let them in, don't let them see Anna: I'm getting what I'm dreaming of! Elsa: Be the good girl you always have to be Anna: A chance to change my lonely world Elsa: Conceal Anna: A chance to find true love! Elsa: Conceal, don't feel Don't let them know Anna: I know it all ends tomorrow, So it has to be today! 'Cause for the first time in forever... For the first time in forever Nothing's in my way! --------------------------------------------------------------------- For the First Time in Forever - Frozen HD 1080p All media used in this video is used for the purpose of entertainment and education under the terms of fair use. London Travel Tips: 10 Things to Know Before You Go

12:32
10 things you must know before you travel to London in the United Kingdom. First, the City of “London” is technically a one square mile area, with only 7,400 residents. But the larger london has 8.6 Million Residents in 32 boroughs. Big Ben refers to the bell, not the tower. The tower is called “Elizabeth Tower” The country is called the “United Kingdom” -- England is a part of the UK. Great Britain is an old name when it used to be called “United Kingdom of Great Britain” 2 - When to go: Low season is between January and February with average daily highs around 8C or 46F Shoulder season is between mid-September and November and then again in March and April. Shoulder Season. Mild weather, light jacket. Cheapest hotels are Jan-March, but often with wind and constant rain Summer prepare for thunderstorms and crowds. But probably the best time to go. Average highs are 24C/75F. The “city” can make it hot and humid in the summer. 3 - Money: Great British Pound, aka pound sterling, aka quid 1 GBP is $1.30 or 1.12 EUR A pound is composed of 100 pence, referred to as “pee” A five pound note is a fiver(smallest note), and 10 is a tenner Credit cards are generally accepted, but may require “chip and pin” ATMS are plentiful VAT is about 20% -- and yes, they have a tax back scheme 4 - Getting in: 6 airports serve London Main airports, Heathrow and Gatwick Ryan Air and Easy Jet fly in to Stansted (it’s about an hour out) Due to London's huge global city status it is the most served destination in the world when it comes to flights. But some connections may be between airports. DONT DO IT! Heathrow is home to British Airways that operates 40 percent of flights. From Heathrow the fastest way in to the city is the Heathrow Express -- it takes 15 minutes in to the city at Paddington Station, and leaves every 15 minutes. Station at Terminal 4, and another for Terms 1,2,3. It costs 22 GBP. Star Alliance Gold gets free Business/First upgrade. Also can take the Tube, on the Piccadilly line. It’ll take an hour. Gatwick is London's 2nd airport and is the world's busiest single runway airport From Gatwick the fastest way is the Gatwick Express, it takes 30 minutes in to London Victoria Station. Also every 15 minutes. No tube at Gatwick. A taxi will cost you about 55-65 GBP from Heathrow Rail fares to London vary enormously from very cheap to prohibitively expensive - the golden rules are to book Advance tickets for a particular train time, don't travel into the city on Friday afternoons and Sundays, and avoid buying tickets on the day of travel. London has one international high speed rail route (operated by Eurostar ) rom Paris (2h 15min) and Brussels (1h 50 min) diving under the sea for 35 km (22 mi) via the Channel Tunnel to come out in England. It terminates at St. Pancras International Station. Sea Shepherd "Divine Wind" campaign passing wind

06:46
Link to "KUDAN" rap song about the Kamikaze, the lyrics in both Japanese and English: http://propaganda-buster.blogspot.com/2011/10/kudan-rap-song-about-japans-kamikaze.html The cultist of Sea Shepherd failed last Southern Ocean whaling season to get dramatic video from the Japanese whalers. The Japanese end their whaling season a month early foiling the cult leader and his trust fund minions. No dramatic video footage for Animal Planet's Whale Wars. The following summer the cowards on their rust bucket garbage scows sail to the Faroe Islands confident the descendants of the Vikings will provide that dramatic video needed to save "Whale Wars." However the good people of the Faroe Islands did not cooperate and deprived She Shepherd that dramatic video footage they tried to incite through insults upon insults. No whales were in the Faroe Islands to harvest for food thus causing the cult leader (Captain Kangaroo, Admiral Beauregard Watson, and "The Paulrus") to take his minion cultist and left the Faroe Islands. The next day the whales entered the Faroe Islands (the grind) and close to 100 whales were harvest. The Japanese announced they will once again go whaling in the Southern Ocean this whaling season, starting around December. Huh? But earlier this year Captain Kangaroo of She Sheherd said he was 75% sure the Japanese would not go whaling again. Perhaps the good captain should stay out of Las Vegas. In a desperate attempt to get that denied dramatic video the cult leader announce they would engage in a campaign to prevent the Japanese whalers from whaling. They named their new campaign "Divine Wind," the Japanese term "Kamikaze." The cult group "Divine Wind?" More like "passing wind." The group hijacking the term "Kamikaze," was only designed to antagonize. The cult leader said he had 100 volunteers according to an article in the "Herald Sun" (see link below) the announced ".....will send 100 volunteers to the Southern Ocean and is prepared to lose lives if necessary." http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/breaking-news/anti-whalers-launch-kamikaze-operation/story-e6frf7jx-1226156920778 The cult leader values the life of a whale over the lives of his trust fund cultists' minions. Their parents need to have an intervention to save the lives of their miss-guided children, because the good Captain only sees them as human fodder. What is interesting is the good Captain said the 100 volunteers are prepared of offer their lives, not him, just the volunteers. Advice to the minions: DO NOT DRINK THE KOOL-AID! "Kool-Aid" reference: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=drink+the+kool-aid Note: mentioned in this video: There are four things the Japanese are afraid of: 1) Earthquake (Jishin), 2) Thunder (Karminari), 3) Fire (Kaji), 4) Oyaji (Daddy). Oyaji is the one who corrects the wrong and most afraid of has he uses thunder. Also, Oyaji he gets angry because he is thinking of you from the bottom of his heart. Heavy Wind Sailing Aboard Tari Anne

08:56
"Heavy Wind" is a relative term. On this day it was about 30mph, and for these Native Bahamian Sloops, that is beyond the limits of what they race in. We recently completed a repair on Tari Annes mast and were ready to test it out under the most extreme conditions. Now we know that she can handle winds at this level we can rest easy during our normal sailing days. Yes, we do not all wear life jackets while sailing these boats. That is because moving around onboard during tacks etc can be difficult enough without something getting snagged or caught somewhere and a life jacket making you more cumbersome than usual. We watch out for each other and each others safety at all times. this day was supposed to be a match race between Tari Anne and the smaller C class sloop Termite (which you can see at 1:11) but the winds proved to be too heavy and we had to cancel. You can follow Most things Exuma sailing related including Tari Anne and Termite news on the Exuma Sailing Clubs Facebook page. Thanks for watching.
