RICHARD NIXON TAPES: A Shy President 1 (Bob Haldeman)

07:35
-Part 1- H. R. (Bob) Haldeman September 12, 1971 008-103 White House Telephone President Richard Nixon talks with his Chief of Staff Bob Haldeman. In the first part of the conversation, after initially discussing a TV show about Nixon's wife Pat Nixon, the two men talk about Nixon's military aides. Nixon wants one military aide that he is totally comfortable around. He wants to work with someone he already knows because, he says, "it takes me a hell of a long time to get acquainted with anybody, to get used to them." One of the men he discusses is Jack Brennan, a key character in the new movie Frost/Nixon. He especially likes one aide named Coffey, because he is "extremely easy" on Nixon to be around and he knows "how to melt into the woodwork." They also discuss the duties of Nixon's personal secretary and friend, Rose Mary Woods, who was then signing his autograph for him. Nixon praises the new secretary Nell Yates, and he also suggests that Woods' secretary Marje Acker could take over some of Woods speech typing duties. (Photo: President Richard Nixon in his Executive Office Building (EOB) Office with photographs of his daughters behind him.) (NARA censors beeped out some of this conversation as "personal returnable." This is represented here by approximately 5 second beeps.) Welcome to The Laughing Tree! Grace Slick (Jefferson Airplane) weird interview & on spiking Nixon with LSD. The most absurd interview i've ever seen. Donny and Marie Osmond interviewing Grace Slick (Jefferson Airplane frontman) on trying to spike president Nixon with LSD/Acid. Talks about her life and her time in the 60s, her time in Jefferson Airplane, Woodstock and the War on Drugs. Grace is slick! But Donny & Marie are mental. And why the world of the 50/60/70s was the best in the history of mankind. Celebrity appearances now and again! https://youtu.be/9tQURky0nDc If you'd like any advice (I gained all these views and subs in about a year, and i've had 8-9 months off) just message me!! Hunter S Thompson interview with Keith Richard (insane). This interview between Hunter S. Thompson and Keith Richards from 1993 is a whirlwind of bizarre. Commissioned by ABC, negotiations for the interview begin with a handwritten fax from Richards and may or may not include the exchange of cash before the two meet in a hotel room. What comes next is, well, not very clear. The two discuss the afterlife (including the possible reincarnation of J. Edgar Hoover), the role of The Beatles in popularizing the Rolling Stones, the intricacies of various art mediums (“A painter’s got a canvas, but there’s got to be a frame around it. Somewhere. The writer’s got reams of empty paper which he’s supposed to fill with words and brilliantly put together. And a musician has silence.”), and more in what can best be described as a drug-induced fever dream. The best we can assume is that these two titans on ingenuity ingested some of the same substances and connected on a neural level we won’t be able to fully comprehend.

Pastor John Nixon - Desperate Housewives (Marriage Counselling For Men)

45:51
http://www.adventistsermons.blogspot.co.uk/ Pastor John Nixon preaching a sermon titled, Desperate Housewives. It is based on the popular US soap opera by the same name. The sermon is a marriage counselling seminar targeted towards men. Marriage was divinely established in Eden and affirmed by Jesus to be a lifelong union between a man and a woman in loving companionship. For the Christian a marriage commitment is to God as well as to the spouse, and should be entered into only between partners who share a common faith. Mutual love, honor, respect, and responsibility are the fabric of this relationship, which is to reflect the love, sanctity, closeness, and permanence of the relationship between Christ and His church. Regarding divorce, Jesus taught that the person who divorces a spouse, except for fornication, and marries another, commits adultery. Although some family relationships may fall short of the ideal, marriage partners who fully commit themselves to each other in Christ may achieve loving unity through the guidance of the Spirit and the nurture of the church. God blesses the family and intends that its members shall assist each other toward complete maturity. Parents are to bring up their children to love and obey the Lord. By their example and their words they are to teach them that Christ is a loving disciplinarian, ever tender and caring, who wants them to become members of His body, the family of God. Increasing family closeness is one of the earmarks of the final gospel message. (Gen. 2:18-25; Matt. 19:3-9; John 2:1-11; 2 Cor. 6:14; Eph. 5:21-33; Matt. 5:31, 32; Mark 10:11, 12; Luke 16:18; 1 Cor. 7:10, 11; Ex. 20:12; Eph. 6:1-4; Deut. 6:5-9; Prov. 22:6; Mal. 4:5, 6.)
NIXON TAPES: No Washington Post Reporters Allowed!

01:17
Ron Ziegler December 11, 1972 7:54PM 034-050 White House Telephone President Richard Nixon talks with his press secretary Ron Ziegler about the Washington Post. Nixon, who had earlier banned Washington Post reporters from the White House, had heard that reporters from that paper had attended a televised Christmas event with the First Lady, Pat Nixon, earlier that day. Nixon threatens to fire Ziegler if Post reporters or photographers are allowed in the White House again. For several months by this point, Washington Post reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein (later authors of All the President's Men and The Final Days) had been writing about the Watergate break-in scandal, which was still in its nascent stage at the time.
