Driving Downtown Neighborhoods - Hollywood - Los Angeles California USA - Episode 17. Starting Point: Hollywood Boulevard https://goo.gl/maps/hzmbLQxB3gM2 . Hollywood is an ethnically diverse, densely populated, relatively low-income neighborhood in the central region of Los Angeles, California. It is notable as the home of the U.S. film industry, including several of its historic studios, and its name has come to be a shorthand reference for the industry and the people in it. Hollywood was a small community in 1870 and was incorporated as a municipality in 1903. It was consolidated with the city of Los Angeles in 1910, and soon thereafter a prominent film industry emerged, eventually becoming the most recognizable film industry in the world. Motion Picture Industry Four major film companies – Paramount, Warner Bros., RKO, and Columbia – had studios in Hollywood, as did several minor companies and rental studios. In the 1920s, Hollywood was the fifth-largest industry in the nation. Hollywood became known as Tinseltown because of the glittering image of the movie industry. Hollywood has since become a major center for film study in the United States. Development In 1923, the Hollywood sign was erected in the Hollywood Hills, reading "HOLLYWOODLAND," its purpose being to advertise a housing development. In 1949, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce entered a contract with the City of Los Angeles to repair and rebuild the sign. The contract stipulated that "LAND" be removed to spell "HOLLYWOOD" and reflect the district, not the housing development. During the early 1950s, the Hollywood Freeway was constructed through the northeast corner of Hollywood. The Capitol Records Building on Vine Street, just north of Hollywood Boulevard, was built in 1956, and the Hollywood Walk of Fame was created in 1958 as a tribute to artists and other significant contributors to the entertainment industry. The official opening was on February 8, 1960. The Hollywood Boulevard Commercial and Entertainment District was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. The Dolby Theatre, which opened in 2001 as the Kodak Theatre at the Hollywood & Highland Center mall, is the home of the Oscars. The mall is located where the historic Hollywood Hotel once stood. Revitalization After years of serious decline in the 1980s, many Hollywood landmarks were threatened with demolition. Columbia Square, at the northeast corner of Sunset Boulevard and Gower Street, is part of the ongoing rebirth of Hollywood. The Art Deco-style studio complex completed in 1938, which was once the Hollywood headquarters for CBS, became home to a new generation of broadcasters when cable television networks MTV, Comedy Central, BET and Spike TV consolidated their offices here in 2014 as part of a $420-million office, residential and retail complex. Since 2000, Hollywood has been increasingly gentrified due to revitalization by private enterprise and public planners. Notable Places CBS Columbia Square Charlie Chaplin Studios Cinerama Dome Crossroads of the World Dolby Theatre Earl Carroll Theatre (currently Nickelodeon on Sunset) El Capitan Theatre Frederick's of Hollywood Gower Gulch Grauman's Egyptian Theatre Hollywood & Western Building Hollywood and Highland Center Hollywood and Vine Hollywood Forever Cemetery Hollywood Heritage Museum Hollywood Palladium Hollywood Masonic Temple Hollywood Museum Hollywood Walk of Fame Hollywood Wax Museum Knickerbocker Hotel Madame Tussauds Hollywood Musso & Frank Grill Pantages Theatre Roosevelt Hotel Sunset Gower Studios TCL Chinese Theatre https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hollywood https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attractions-g32655-Activities-Los_Angeles_California.html

Universal Studios Hollywood is a film studio and theme park in the Universal City community of the San Fernando Valley region of the city of Los Angeles, California, United States. It is one of the oldest and most famous Hollywood film studios still in use. Its official marketing headline is "The Entertainment Capital of LA". It was initially created to offer tours of the real Universal Studios sets and is the first of many full-fledged Universal Studios Theme Parks located across the world. Woody Woodpecker is the mascot for Universal Studios Hollywood. Outside the theme park, a new, all-digital facility near the Universal Studios backlot was built in an effort to merge all of NBCUniversal's West Coast operations into one area. As a result, the current home for KNBC, KVEA and NBC News with Telemundo Los Angeles Bureaus with new digital facility is on the Universal lot formerly occupied by Technicolor SA. Universal City includes hotels Universal Hilton & Towers, the Sheraton Universal Hotel, the multi-screen Globe Theatre, often used for banquets and receptions and Universal CityWalk, which offers a collection of shops and restaurants. In 2013, the park hosted 6,148,000 guests, placing it 17th in the world and 9th among North American parks. Source: Wikipedia

Los Angeles is the second-most populous city in the United States, after New York City, and the most populous city in the Western United States. With an estimated population of four million, Los Angeles is the largest and most populous city in the state of California and the cultural, financial, and commercial center of Southern California. As tall as a 4 story building! Hollywood Hills to Downtown Hollywood! Subscribe if you enjoy the videos!! :) The globally recognized HOLLYWOOD sign is spelled out in 44-foot tall (13 m) white capital letters and is 352 feet long (107 m). The sign (formerly the Hollywoodland Sign) is an American landmark and cultural icon located in Los Angeles, California. It is situated on Mount Lee, in the Hollywood Hills area of the Santa Monica Mountains. The sign overlooks Hollywood, Los Angeles. The sign was originally created in 1923 as an advertisement for a local real estate development, but due to increasing recognition, the sign was left up. The sign has been a frequent target of pranks and vandalism across the decades, but it has since undergone restoration, including the installation of a security system to deter vandalism. The sign is protected and promoted by The Hollywood Sign Trust, a nonprofit organization, while its site and the surrounding land are part of Griffith Park. Viewed from lower ground, the contours of the hills give the sign a wavy appearance. When viewed from the same height, the word appears nearly straight. The sign makes frequent appearances in popular culture, particularly in establishing shots for films and television programs set in or around Hollywood. Signs of similar style, but spelling different words, are frequently seen as parodies. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hollywood_Sign Hollywood is a neighborhood in the central region of Los Angeles, California. A total of 21,588 people lived in the neighborhood's 7.05 square miles, according to the 2000 U.S. census. The median household income in 2008 dollars was $69,277, considered high for the city but about average for the county. The percentage of households earning $125,000 or more was high, compared to the county at large. The average household size of 1.8 people was relatively low. History of: Universal Studios Hollywood Backlot (Universal City) Los Angeles, California

09:29
100 Years of Universal: The Lot (10 minutes): A behind-the-scenes look at the movie magic created on the famous Universal Studios lot. On March 15, 1915, Carl Laemmle officially opened the gates of Universal City, the world’s first self-contained community dedicated to making movies. According to eyewitness accounts, over 15,000 people were present for Universal City’s opening day ceremonies. At the time of Universal City’s opening, the new municipality had nearly 500 residents. Among them were 75 Indians who lived in tepees on the backlot, western riders, movie “soldiers” and workmen. Although the studio officially opened in 1915, film production on the lot began in 1914. Damon and Pythias, co-starring William Worthington and Herbert Rowlinson, was the first picture completed at Universal City. As movie production at Universal City increased, a steady stream of silent films including westerns, comedies, and action-adventures became Universal’s trademark. Laemmle also began inviting visitors to Universal City to observe his movie making, establishing Universal’s long-standing tradition of welcoming guests to enjoy the behind-the-scenes magic. However, the Universal tour was temporarily halted in the late 1920s, when “talkies” became the norm and producers demanded a set free of visitor noise. A few of Universal’s most notable feature films of these early years include The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1923), The Phantom of the Opera (1925), and All Quiet on the Western Front (1930). All Quiet on the Western Front won the Academy Award for Best Picture in 1930. Universal also became well known for its horror films of the early 1930s. These productions included such classics as Dracula, The Mummy,m Frankenstein, and Bride of Frankenstein. In 1936, Carl Laemmle retired from the movie industry and sold Universal to the Standard Capital Company. In the years that immediately followed, the studio relied heavily on Deanna Durbin musicals, Abbott and Costello comedies, and Francis the Talking Mule. When Universal merged with International Pictures in 1946, Leo Spitz and William Goetz from International took over production, and the company became known as Universal-International. The production of Hamlet by Universal-International in association with J. Arthur Rank of England won the Academy Award for Best Picture in 1948. In 1950, Universal acquired 140 acres of land adjoining the southern boundary of the studio, increasing the overall size of Universal City to 400 acres. 1952 brought another merger to Universal when Decca Records bought the company. Under the leadership of Milton Rackmil, President of Decca and Universal, and Edward Muhl, production head, some of the notable features of this era included Pillow Talk, Operation Petticoat, To Kill A Mocking Bird, The Glenn Miller Story, and Spartacus. In December 1958, MCA, Inc. purchased the Universal City Studio Lot. MCA’s Revue Television Productions relocated to Universal City, and Universal Pictures then leased back its property from MCA. This arrangement lasted three years until MCA and Universal officially merged in 1962. Jules Stein founded MCA, or the Music Corporation of America, in 1924 as a Chicago-based agency that booked bands into clubs and dance halls. The legacy of MCA was expanded and enriched by Lew Wasserman, who joined the company in 1936, became President in 1946, and over the years built MCA from a leading talent agency into a diversified global leader in the world of entertainment..." ~ http://www.universalstudioslot.com/about-us Spoken: Steven Spielberg - Director, Jurassic Park Michael Mann - Co-Writer/Director, Public Enemies Paul Rudd - Actor, The 40-Year-Old Virgin Peyton Reed - Director, The Break-Up Jeff Pirtle - Director, Archives & Collections NBC Universal Ivan Reitman - Producer, National Lampoon's Animal House Peter Berg - Director/Producer, Battleship Dan Aykroyd - Actor, The Blues Brothers Molly Orr - Studio Tour Guide, Universal Studios Hollywood John Landis - Director, National Lampoon's Animal House Ron Howard - Director, Apollo 13 John Carpenter - Director, The Thing (1982) Phil Alden Robinson - Writer/Director, Field of Dreams Meryl Streep - Actor, Out of Africa Stage 28 - Phantom Stage (Phantom of The Opera - 1924) Theatre ©2012 Universal Studios. Universal Studios Hollywood in 4K! Los Angeles, California

34:19
This is a 4K video of Universal Studios Hollywood in Los Angeles, California. Video captured during the daytime setup of Halloween Horror Nights. Universal Studios is a relatively short drive to Disneyland. Universal Studios is in the northern part of LA, whereas Disneyland is more in the southern part. If you have time to visit both Disneyland and Universal Studios, do it! Although there is much construction in 2018 at the park, you’ll find the live attractions in 2018 are similar. This video was shot in 4K at 30 FPS using an iPhone 8. I also used a stability bar (but no gimbal). In this video, I walk around the park and take the studio backlot tour. It's a quick cut of various attractions you'll find at Universal Studios Hollywood. You'll see glimpses of food areas as well. And a quick clip of animal actors. The best rides and the backlot are here at the park. It’s also right next to Citywalk, here in Los Angeles! Also known as estudios universales in Spanish. Let this walkthrough video guide you.

California Los Angeles: Universal Studio, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Hollywood walking tour GoPro

Visiting the "City of Angels" I had an idea of this place. It is here that the richest of this world, celebrities and stars live. Los Angeles was considered the 3rd richest and the fifth most influential city in the world. The whole year is warm, you can bathe in the ocean or bask in the Hollywood hills. Can it be beautiful? Of course it can be, it all depends on the wealth of our wallet. I recommend joining the Grand Central Market. It is a marketplace with lots of great restaurants and cuisine from around the world. We will eat here both American burgers, Mexican tacos, as well as Chinese specialties. I liked the Beverly Hills district the most. We can admire the beautiful villas of the rich. It is also worth taking a stroll along one of the most expensive streets in the world - Rodeo Drive. Hollywood hills, from which we can admire really beautiful views of the city. One of the best points is the Griffith Observatory. In Los Angeles - or rather in its metropolis - there are as many as 5 beautiful beaches. The most famous beach is Venice Beach in Santa Monica. It is here that Route 66 - the most famous street in America - has its ending. Recorded by GoPro Hero LCD+ in October. Los Angeles Opens New Bridge Housing in Hollywood

03:18
HOLLYWOOD - Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and Councilmember Mitch O’Farrell recently opened a newly-built bridge housing facility on Schrader Boulevard. The location will temporarily house up to 72 people at a time, while simultaneously offering supportive services to help match clients to permanent housing or other long-term solutions. “We are investing billions of dollars in permanent housing and services to end this crisis for good -- but our homeless neighbors can’t wait. They need a place to sleep tonight, and that’s what A Bridge Home brings to our communities,” said Mayor Eric Garcetti. “I’m grateful to Councilmember O’Farrell for his hard work and leadership, as well as the many partners that have made today possible. This site in the heart of Hollywood is another important step forward, and we won’t stop working until we bring every homeless Angeleno indoors.” “Homelessness is the number one crisis facing our City, and nothing less than an ‘all hands on deck’ approach will bring relief to our challenges,” said Councilmember O’Farrell. “From day one, Hollywood has recognized the critical importance of working together to bring this resource to the area. This facility was built with a collaborative approach that is reflective and emblematic of the Hollywood community.” The office of Councilmember Mitch O’Farrell has championed this project from the start: Councilmember O’Farrell originally introduced the motion which paved the way to build the project on the City-owned parking lot; his office led the community outreach before and during construction; and the office served as the liaison between City departments, partnering agencies, and local stakeholders. “This innovative bridge housing program is a way to provide immediate assistance where it’s needed the most,” said The People Concern’s Miriam Gonzalez, who says there are 990 unsheltered individuals in Hollywood. “Having a shelter in the community where homeless individuals reside is paramount, and that will get people moving into more permanent housing.” The bridge housing facility is the second such project built in the City as part of Mayor Garcetti’s “A Bridge Home” program. It will provide supportive services including case management and health and wellness programs; include on-site 24/7 security, laundry and hygiene facilities; and is expected to be operational for approximately three years. In addition, the bridge housing facility will have a pet relief area through a generous contribution from the Wallis Annenberg Petspace and the Annenberg Foundation. “The crisis of homelessness has many causes. But to me, it has only one real cure: providing people with support, services and outreach that can actually turn their lives around, and lead to permanent homes,” said Wallis Annenberg, who is also working with the City on three additional sites. “And that’s why I want to help homeless Angelenos keep their companion animals as they stay in temporary housing, such as this new location in Hollywood. After all, pets need relief from the streets too. And the love and support of a companion animal can make all the difference to someone in a time of need. No human or companion animal should suffer the tragedy of homelessness.” The facility will be operated by two seasoned service providers with roots in Hollywood: People Assisting The Homeless (PATH) and The Center at Blessed Sacrament. All residents will be formerly homeless individuals from the streets of Hollywood. Additional City resources will be dedicated to the area around the facility including enhanced outreach, sanitation, and public safety personnel. “When I was homeless, I was in an old shelter model with a dorm-style room that was like jail,” said Shanae Cannon, who is now an outreach worker in Hollywood for the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority. “The new shelters give back more dignity and respect to people; residents will have their own cubicle and more space and the service providers are more aware. We’re bringing more lived-experience staff like me to better connect with the people we’re serving.” In his work to further address the homeless crisis, Councilmember O’Farrell is also collaborating with City departments and agencies to establish a Safe Parking site at Edendale Library, and Supportive Housing off Glendale Blvd in Echo Park.

New York has the most people, with a population of 8.5 million, while LA has around 4 million people. The New York metropolitan area, however, has 20.3 million people. So about 1 in 16 Americans live there. The Los Angeles metropolitan area has about 13.1 million people. Both are cosmopolitan, world famous cities. Two cities that never seem to sleep- always hustling and bustling. Over the last century, the two cities have dominated and influenced the culture of the rest of the country. It’s like the two forget the fact that the rest of us exist. You see this on mainstream TV. Most national news and entertainment programming occurs in LA or New York, although LA has way more YouTubers than New York. Both are by oceans. NYC by the Atlantic Ocean, and LA by the Pacific. Both are diverse. We’re talking people flock from all over the world to these two cities to start new lives. More than 37% of New York residents were born in another country. Nearly 40% of LA residents were born in another country. Almost half of the residents of LA are considered either Hispanic or Latino. New York has historically been the main way immigrants come to the United States. In both LA and New York, you’ll see lots of ethnic enclaves, or neighborhoods dominated by one ethnic group. Both tend to have younger residents compared to most other cities around the United States, although LA’s a bit younger. (The median age in New York is about 35.8, while the median age in LA is about 34.6.) It’s really freaking expensive to live in both cities, although LA is about 8.3% less expensive than New York. But it’s a lot more expensive to buy a home in LA. The median household income in both cities is similar. (LA 61,931, NYC 64,605) The unemployment rates and job growth rates are also comparable.(LA 4.2%, NYC 4.2% ) (LA 1.2% job growth, NYC 2% job growth) Related to how expensive it is in both places, of course, is how crowded both cities are. While LA is notorious for its bad traffic, by some metrics New York’s traffic is actually worse. Here’s another surprise. If you look at the entire metro areas, LA, the city known for its sprawl that goes on for miles and miles, has a higher population density than New York. But city proper, ain’t nobody as dense as New York City. We’re talking 27,000 per square mile in NYC versus around 8,000 people per square mile in LA. The average commute time for both cities is way higher than the national average. New Yorkers use more public transportation than LA folks BY FAR. I mean, there’s really no comparison. In LA, people own cars. They drive. In New York, over half of the households don’t own a car. 75% of Manhattan residents don’t.

A Walk Down Hollywood Boulevard

20:15
Hollywood Boulevard is a street in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, splitting off Sunset Boulevard in the east and running northwest to Vermont Avenue, where it straightens out and runs due west to Laurel Canyon Boulevard. West of Laurel Canyon, it continues as a residential street and ending at Sunset Plaza Drive. The eastern end of Hollywood Boulevard passes through Little Armenia and Thai Town. Prior to Hollywood Boulevard, the street was named Prospect Avenue until 1910, when the town of Hollywood was annexed by the City of Los Angeles. After annexation, the street numbers changed from 100 Prospect Avenue, at Vermont Avenue, to 6400 Hollywood Boulevard. In 1946, Gene Autry, while riding his horse in the Hollywood Christmas Parade — which passes down Hollywood Boulevard each year on the Sunday after Thanksgiving — heard young parade watchers yelling, "Here comes Santa Claus, here comes Santa Claus!" and was inspired to write "Here Comes Santa Claus" with Oakley Haldeman.[1] In 1958, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, which runs from Gower Street to La Brea Avenue (and an additional three blocks on Vine Street), was created as a tribute to artists working in the entertainment industry. The Hollywood extension of the Metro Red Line subway was opened in June 1999, running from Downtown Los Angeles to the San Fernando Valley. Stops on Hollywood Boulevard are located at Western Avenue, Vine Street, and Highland Avenue. Metro Local lines 180, 181, and 217, and Metro Rapid line 780 also serve Hollywood Boulevard. An anti-cruising ordinance prohibits driving on parts of the boulevard more than twice in four hours. Today, the Boulevard is a popular tourist destination and is always crowded with cars and people. Beginning in 1995, then Los Angeles City Council member Jackie Goldberg initiated efforts to clean up Hollywood Boulevard and reverse its decades-long slide into disrepute.[3] Central to these efforts was the construction of the Hollywood and Highland Center and adjacent Dolby Theatre (originally known as the Kodak Theater) in 2001. In early 2006, the city made revamping plans on Hollywood Boulevard for future tourists. The three-part plan was to exchange the original streetlights with red stars into two-headed old-fashioned streetlights, put in new palm trees, and put in new stoplights. The renovations were completed in late 2006. In the few years leading up to 2007, more than $2 billion was spent on projects in the neighborhood, including mixed-use retail and apartment complexes and new schools and museums.[3] A popular event that takes place on the Boulevard is the complete transformation of the street to a Christmas theme. Shops and department stores attract customers by lighting their stores and the entire street with decorated Christmas trees and Christmas lights. The street essentially becomes "Santa Claus Lane." Walk of Fame & Stars in Hollywood, California

03:30
The Hollywood Walk of Fame is an 18-block series of sidewalks along Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, USA that serves as a permanent public monument to achievement in the entertainment industry. More than 2,400 5-pointed terrazzo and brass stars are embedded at 6-foot intervals over a combined 1.7 miles. The stars bear the names of an eclectic mix of actors, musicians, directors, producers, musical and theatrical groups, fictional characters, and others recognized by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce for their entertainment contributions. The Walk attracts about 10 million visitors annually - more than Sunset Strip, Grauman's Chinese Theatre, the Queen Mary, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art - and it has played an important role in making tourism the largest industry in Los Angeles County.

Top 6 BEST Universal Studios Hollywood Attractions! |Stix Top 6|

12:57
In today's episode of Stix Top 6, we fly over to Hollywood, California to check out Universal Studios Hollywood and count down the Top 6 BEST Attractions throughout the park! Twitter - https://twitter.com/SilverStixYT Reddit - https://www.reddit.com/user/SilverStix/ YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/c/SilverStix Universal Studios Hollywood is a film studio and theme park in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles County, California. About 70% of the studio lies within the unincorporated county island known as Universal City while the rest lies within the city limits of Los Angeles, California. It is one of the oldest and most famous Hollywood film studios still in use. Its official marketing headline is "The Entertainment Capital of LA". It was initially created to offer tours of the real Universal Studios sets and is the first of many full-fledged Universal Studios Theme Parks located across the world. Outside the theme park, a new, all-digital facility near the Universal Pictures backlot was built in an effort to merge all of NBCUniversal's West Coast operations into one area. As a result, the current home for KNBC, KVEA and NBC News with Telemundo Los Angeles Bureaus with new digital facility is on the Universal lot formerly occupied by Technicolor SA. Universal City includes hotels Universal Hilton & Towers, the Sheraton Universal Hotel, and Universal CityWalk, which offers a collection of shops, restaurants, an 18-screen Universal Cinema and a seven-story IMAX theater. In 2017, the park hosted 9,056,000 guests, ranking it 15th in the world and 9th among North American parks. Shortly after Music Corporation of America took over Universal Pictures in 1962, accountants suggested a new tour in the studio commissary would increase profits. On July 15, 1964, the modern tour was established to include a series of dressing room walk-through's, peeks at actual production, and later, staged events. This grew over the years into a full-blown theme park. The narrated tram tour (formerly "Glamor Trams") still runs through the studio's active backlot, but the staged events, stunt demonstrations and high-tech rides overshadow the motion-picture production that once lured fans to Universal Studios Hollywood. In 1965, the War Lord Tower opened as one of the first attractions in the theme park. One of the early struggles for Universal was coming up with things for young children to do. The existing small Ma & Pa Kettle Petting Zoo was expanded into the Ark Park. This area encompassed the Mt. Ararat petting zoo with over 200 animals and birds representing 30 species and a Noah's Nursery and a Noah's Love Inn playhouse for children and animals. This was followed by the opening of the Animal Actors' School Stage in 1970. In 1968 the Screen Actors Guild enacted a rule prohibiting visitors from most soundstages. This new rule coupled with more productions being shot on location meant the backlot tram tour could not show visitors much in the way of real movie and television production. Jay Stein, President of the Recreation Division championed the idea of creating exciting experiences for visitors in place of viewing actual production. Later that same year, the Flash Flood set was opened and this first special-effects attraction proved to be a hit. 20,000 gallons of water rushed 200 feet down a narrow Mexican village street, uprooting an old tree and threatening to engulf the tram. The Parting of the Red Sea attraction opened in 1973. In 1974, the Rockslide staged event was added to the Studio Tour. The following year The Land of a Thousand Faces opened on the Upper Lot. In 1979, the Battle of Galactica replaced Rockslide as a staged event on the Studio Tour. The Flintstones Show opened, replacing the Star Trek Adventure. In 1991, E.T. Adventure opened as the park's first "dark ride," an industry term for an attraction that uses ride vehicles to take passengers through an indoor show building. Around the same time, sister park Universal Studios Florida opened, which had its own, similar E.T. attraction. The Florida version was more of a conventional theme park and paved the way for the Hollywood park's evolution. In 1993, Back to the Future: The Ride opened, replacing Battle of Galactica. In 1996, Jurassic Park: The Ride opened. In 1997, two shows were replaced: The Land Before Time show replaced Rocky and Bullwinkle Live; and Totally Nickelodeon replaced the Flintstones Show. Just one year after it opened, the Land Before Time show was replaced with Coke Soak. In 1999, T2-3D: Battle Across Time and a Chicken Run Walkthrough opened on the upper lot. Additionally, Beetlejuice's Rock and Roll Graveyard Revue was closed.
