10 Most Dangerous Water Animals In The World ► Subscribe: https://goo.gl/vHN6qB For copyright matters please contact us at: [email protected] There are many different types of creatures that live in streams, lakes, seas and oceans. And while many of these creatures are harmless, there are many that are incredibly dangerous if you happen to have an encounter with them. These dangerous animals lurk beneath the surface of the water in a world vastly different than ours, and must be deadly to survive. Join us as we take a look at 10 of the most dangerous water creatures. 10. Australian Box Jellyfish – This creature is not one to be messed around with if you happen to swim into a swarm of them. And while they may seem harmless, the Australian box jellyfish is considered to be the most venomous marine animal in the world. They have tentacles that are covered with tiny darts called nematocysts, and they are loaded with poison. 9. Flower Urchin – Beautiful but deadly, these sea urchins are extremely venomous. They look like a bouquet of small flowers; to which they get their name from. They feed on invertebrates, sponges, and dead fish, and have well developed jaws for grinding up their prey. 8. The Saltwater Crocodile – Evolving around 200 million years in the Mesozoic epoch, crocodiles have far outlived the dinosaurs. The Salt water crocodile is the world’s largest reptile, and they have been known to grow up to 27 feet long and weigh 2,465 lbs. 7. Textile Cone Snail – Mother nature teaches us that anything in nature that is beautiful, is most likely deadly, and a warning to predators and humans to not touch or disturb them. This holds true for the Textile Cone Snail. 6. The Sea Snake – These highly venomous marine snakes are closely related and belong to the same family as the cobra. There are two independently evolved groups: the true sea snakes which are related to Australian terrestrial elapids, and the sea kraits which are related to Asian cobras. 5. The Lionfish – Lionfish are skilled hunters, using specialized bilateral swim bladder muscles to provide exquisite control of location in the water column, allowing the fish to alter its center of gravity to better attack prey. The lionfish then spreads its large pectoral fins and swallows its prey in a single motion. 4. The Stingray – Stingrays are a group of rays, which are cartilaginous fish related to sharks, and are one of the oceans deadliest creatures. Most stingrays have one or more barbed stingers on their tails, which are used exclusively for self-defense. 3. Blue-Ringed Octopus – This octopus has some of the most striking colors of any ocean creature. They get their name from the brightly blue colored rings on its body. 2. Needlefish – These strange looking creatures are very slender, and have a single dorsal fin, placed far back on the body. Needlefish are capable of making short jumps out of the water at up to 37 mph. Since Needlefish swim near the surface, they often leap over the decks of shallow boats rather than going around. 1. The Moray Eel - Most attacks stem from disruption of a moray's burrow to which they react strongly, but an increasing number of accidents also occur during hand feeding of morays by divers, an activity often used by dive companies to attract tourists.

10. Electric Eel You must have heard about them in your science class when in school and many of you had been wondering about their existence. Well, here you go they actually exist and not only exist but, true to their name, they exhibit powerful electric shock; nature has gifted the respective creature with the ability for its survival. As per the resources, the electric eel produces up to 600 volts of electric current, which is enough to kill a man or any other living being. 9. Tiger Fish Apparent from its name, Tiger Fish is one of the most dangerous predator fishes with razor sharp teeth and ability of a true fighter and hunter. The fish is commonly found in the Congo River and Lake Tanganiyaka, situated in Africa; the tiger fish attacks in packs and feasts on large animals. Two of the most widely known tiger fishes are the goliath tiger fish and the tiger fish both of which are the largest among their specie. 8. Goonch Fish Goonch fish is found in the Kali River running between India and Nepal; the fish is a member of catfish family with dangerously sharp teeth and over seven feet long structure. What makes Goonch fish even more dangerous and horrific is its awareness of the taste of human flesh. The alarming number of disappearances and drowning in the Kali River is attributed to this giant man-eater. 7. The Stonefish The Stonefish is not only one of the most dangerous fish but it is also one of the weirdest sea creatures; Stonefish is an unnoticeable fish as it resembles the surface of a stone and could not be recognised unless you have stepped on it. Stonefish is known to be the most poisonous fish on the living earth, the pain caused by its sting is incurable and the victim has to suffer for hours. There is a slight discrepancy in the belief that whether or whether not a Stonefish kills though some believe that its only the pain while others argue that it’s poison can kill within two hours. 6. The Snakehead Fish The Snakehead fish is the original inhabitant of China, Russia and Korea while it can find its way to other countries and their ecosystems too. Once it finds its way to any lake or pond, it eats up all the living beings in the water, after ‘cleaning’ the water, it gets out to the land and eats whatever comes its way until it reaches another water reservoir. 5. Vandellia Cirrhosa The fish is the true and exact embodiment of the notion ‘Size doesn’t matter’, the fish is about 2.5 cm long and 3.5 mm wide and is also known as ‘the toothpick fish’. The fish causes relatively huge, and we really mean huge, calamity to man; Vandellia is attracted to blood and urine as it extracts its main source of food from it, which is urea. The fish easily passes through anus, vagina or penis and starts sucking blood causing extreme pain to the victim. In many cases amputation is the only remedy to it, which is even more horrifying. 4. Piranha Remember the movie named Piranha having small fishes attacking the beachers? Yes we are talking about the same fish; Piranha’s origination is in South America and Brazil. Similar to Vandellia Cirrhosa, Piranha is small in size with greater extent of danger, it is known for its noxious bite force as it bites its prey to bones in no time. 3. Pufferfish Pufferfish is ranked amongst the topmost poisonous fish found till the present date; the fish has poison reservoir of tetrodotoxin in its liver, ovaries, intestines and skin. The tetrodotoxin poison affects the brain and may cause weakness, paralysis and death even at a minimum consumption of the poison, which makes it a highly dangerous fish. 2. Box Jellyfish Box Jellyfish is different in a number of ways than their other family members as they have more developed nervous system and has real pair of eyes. It has long flagella and deadly poison, according to resources the Box Jellyfish poison can cause death within few minutes while the marks left by its sting is for eternity. Its poison attacks the cardiac activity as the victim experiences extremely low heart rate. 1. Payara – The Most Dangerous Fish Payara is also known as the ‘vampire fish’ and are even more dangerous and vicious predators than the Piranhas. It may grow up to four feet and are absolutely capable of preying fishes nearly of their own size. Apart from having sharp teeth and two front outer tusks, Payara is the only fish that is capable of devouring Piranhas, which marks their deadliness higher than Piranhas.

14 Ocean's Deadliest Creatures

07:51
Here are the top 14 dangerous and some even poisonous creatures in the ocean it's terrifying to think they are under there waiting!! 7. Megalodon Megalodon is an extinct species of shark that lived millions of years ago. They were a lot like the great white sharks of today only much bigger. While great whites can reach a length of 20 feet, Megalodon’s could reportedly reach a ridiculous length of nearly 60 feet. Their teeth have been found across the globe from Australia to Japan and as far north as England and Denmark. 6. Killer Whales Being an apex predator means you have no natural predators. Essentially these are the animals at the top of the food chain. Killer, or Orca, whales are considered apex predators and have been known to kill great white sharks, leopard seals, and even other whales. Like wolves, they have a tendency to hunt in packs. Wild orcas don't pose any threat to humans, but there have been incidents in which captive orcas have killed or seriously injured their handlers at marine theme parks. These events highlight the fact that people should probably stop keeping killer whales in captivity rather than any indication that orcas are potentially dangerous to humans. 5. Stingrays Stingrays are usually very passive and gentle around human beings. But if they feel vulnerable in any way they have barbed stingers on their tails that inflict notoriously painful stings that can be deadly when hit in the chest or abdomen. Since stingrays spend a lot of time camouflaging on the seafloor humans often step on them accidentally and end up with a very sore foot to show for it. The world just recognized the ten year anniversary of popular wildlife expert Steve Irwin’s death, who was fatally stung by a stingray on September 4, 2006. 4. Leopard Seal Most seals are relatively harmless and pose no threat to human beings. Leopard seals, however, are not your average run of the mill seal. They are the only seals that eat warm-blooded prey, and the females are larger than the males, another oddity amongst seals. They eat penguins, smaller seals and squid using their powerful jaws, sharp teeth, and clever hunting tactics. In 2003 a British marine biologist was fatally attacked by a leopard seal while snorkeling off of the Antarctic Peninsula. It was the first time a fatal seal attack was recorded, and though seal attacks are rare scientists speculate that the more humans interact with these seals, the more attacks there will be in the future. 3. Box Jellyfish Amongst the world’s most poisonous creatures, this unassuming ocean dweller is responsible for many fatalities annually. Many countries don’t require death certificates, so the exact number isn’t known, but judging from the fact that 20 to 40 people die every year in the Philippines alone, it’s safe to assume that box jellyfish are one of the ocean’s deadliest creatures. Their tentacles are covered with cnidocyst, which contains a tiny dart loaded with a poison that can cause a rapid spike in blood pressure leading to a potentially fatal heart attack. These facts have led some to call the box jellyfish the world’s most venomous creature. 2. Sharks When talking about the ocean’s deadliest predators, sharks are usually the first creatures to come to people’s minds. Though their reputation does have some basis in reality, it is cultural references like the Jaws movie franchise and the Discovery Channel’s Shark Week that have ballooned the shark’s reputation to all new somewhat undeserving heights. There are around 500 species of sharks, but only three, the great white, tiger and bull sharks are responsible for double-digit fatalities. From 1948 to early 2016 there were 2,899 total unprovoked shark attacks recorded around the world, 548 of which were fatal. In comparison, you are more likely to be killed by a falling aircraft or riding a horse. 1. Saltwater Crocodile The saltwater crocodile has two things going for it that help to make them the ocean’s deadliest. These beasts are the largest reptiles on the planet, reaching weights of up to 2,600 pounds and have the most powerful bite on earth, ten times stronger than that of the great white shark. Of all crocodiles, this territorial species is the most likely to treat humans as prey. There are a few fatal saltwater crocodile attacks per year in Australia, with many more attacks from different areas of the world that are believed to go unreported.

How do you recognize something that you can touch and something you have to run away from as fast as possible? Here is a list of the most dangerous sea creatures you can meet and how to recognize them! There are so many different species living in the ocean! Some of them are beautiful, some are deadly, and some are both. TIMESTAMPS Fire Coral 0:40 Flower Urchin 1:20 Cone Snail 1:50 Portuguese Man-of-War 2:32 Snea snakes 3:54 Lionfish 4:51 Chironex 5:39 Surgeonfish 6:15 Indonesian needlefish 6:59 Triggerfish 7:34 SUMMARY - Fire Coral. These small organisms can sting, and the effect can be not very serious and it can be quite bad. A stung person may have severe pains, feel nauseated and even vomit, which is not the best thing to do when you are underwater. - Flower Urchin is both very beautiful and very deadly. It contains toxins that can cause anaphylactic shock, convulsions and finally death. You can get poisoned if you step on it when you are in the sea or the ocean. - Scientists say that just one drop of the cone snail’s poison is enough to kill 20 people! Just one drop! - The most mind-blowing fact about Man-of-War is that technically we should call it Men-of-War, and refer to it not as «it», but «they», and here is why: it’s an animal that is made up of a colony of organisms cooperating together. Man-of-war has tentacles that can be 30 feet long, which it uses to paralyze and kill fish and other small creatures. - Sea snakes are much more venomous than their land-living friends. As it turns out, they have to be like that because they hunt fish, so what they need to do is immobilize their prey very quickly not to let it escape. - Many people call the lionfish the most beautiful sea creature in the world. You can find them in the Caribbean and Eastern Atlantic. Lionfishes are not deadly — they do have a venom, but it’s not lethal. However, the pain you will experience if you get stung is so severe that people say you might wish you were dead. - Chironex doesn’t have any teeth, but it’s dangerous as hell. If a person gets stung, they will have excruciating pain, red inflammation in the stung area and heart dysfunction. - Surgeonfish are easily spooked, so you should be extra careful if you see one of them. Don’t make any unexpected fast moves. The good news is, surgeonfish are not aggressive unless, of course, you provoke them. - Indonesian needlefish live in tropical and subtropical waters of the oceans. They, as the name suggests, have a very sharp, needle-like beak, and they are especially dangerous when they hurl themselves out of the water. - Triggerfish is mostly friendly, but only until you are a threat to its nest. The most dangerous are females — if you approach its nest even accidentally, it will bite you. Thankfully, the bites aren’t poisonous, but triggerfish have extremely sharp teeth, so the injuries it can cause need serious medical attention. 12 Most POISONOUS Fish In The World

11:19
The Puffer Fish or the Box Jellyfish are among the most poisonous fish in the world. Let's take a look and see how to stay safe! SUBSCRIBE for the latest videos: https://goo.gl/7xzjzR Don't forget to CHECK OUT our latest upload: https://goo.gl/LUB8Xw 10. Stingray At number 10, we have the stingray which, just like its name, is notoriously known for stinging its potential harmers. The Stingray has stingers in its tail that have poisonous glands on their underside that can cause swelling with pain and bacterial infection on human victims. These stingers can grow to a maximum length of 35 cm only, but are dangerous enough for divers and bathers in areas where they breed. This fish type is however not known for any fatalities. It feeds on crustaceans and other small fish and mainly settles at the sea bottom when feeding. Stingrays are mostly found in tropical and subtropical coasts and are not known to attack humans unless provoked 9. Weever Fish After the stingray, the Weever fish follows at 37cm as number 9 in our list. Well, pretty small this one, you may say, but the weever is one of the most poisonous fish you’ll probably come across if you are not lucky and its effects on your body won’t be pleasing. This type of fish is mainly found in the Mediterranean, the United Kingdom, Ireland and Atlantic coasts of some European countries. It mostly attacks by biting the feet or hands of human victims when bathing in shallow waters. Their bites are characterized by itching and swelling, and these are just but the most pronounced of all the symptoms caused by these fish. Other symptoms include lightheadedness and tremors. 8. Clown Fish Moving on to number 8 we have the clownfish which is basically a small fish that can grow up to about 15-16 cm in length. They are mainly found warm places like in the Indian Ocean and are omnivores in nature. This genre of fish feeds on zooplanktons mainly and can survive in the most poisonous and toxic of environments. Getting to their environment presents one with a 7. Scorpion Fish The scorpion fish is not an exemption and comes at number 7 in our countdown with so much to contribute in this list. First of all, this fish contains spines that are covered in mucus toxins that inflict a lot of pain to human victims who are unlucky enough to have an encounter with them and to certain animals This type of fish is known for its tactical hunting techniques where it first blends with the environment then pounces on the unsuspecting prey so fast, swallowing it whole. It mainly hunts at night and is known to feed on small fish and crustaceans in the reefs. 6. Giant Moray The Giant Moray is a type of eel that can grow up to 3 meters in size and weigh up to 30 kg in weight, and hence its name. Coming at number 6, the Giant Moray is a very poisonous fish if consumed and can cause serious illness to the victim or sometimes even . 5. Yellow Boxfish The yellow boxfish comes at number five and is of course a force to be reckoned with under the waters. Its suggestive name indeed shows that it has a box-shape and a bright yellow color, but during its glory days. This color fades with age and an old boxfish can be blue-greyish, all the bright yellow having vanished almost entirely. 4. Lionfish At number four is the deadly lionfish, mostly found in the Indian and west pacific waters and is definitely one of the top four most poisonous fish in the world. The lionfish weighs about 0.025-1.3 kg and its length varies from 5 cm-45 cm. These species, just like the clownfish are known to be very attractive and mostly lure their prey, like the clownfish, to their snares and get food. 3. Puffer Fish Mainly found in the warm waters of the tropics, the puffer fish is undisputedly a top three as one of the world’s most poisonous fish. This fish can grow up to 90 - 100 cm in length and inflates with air and water when provoked. Despite their highly toxic nature, the puffer fish are also eaten in some parts of Japan China and Korea where chefs eliminate the poisonous parts serving the rest of the fish as a delicacy! 2. Stonefish It is indeed one of the most dangerous fish you will in encounter in the Indo-pacific. Coming at number two, the stone fish is known to sting swimmers who sometimes step on them obliviously, as this type tends to camouflage with the environment and look just like a normal stone in the sea. These species can grow to a length of 30-40 cm and weigh up to 2 kgs. They are very fast in attacking their prey and use their camouflaging skills in launching the attacks to their unaware targets. 1. Box Jellyfish And finally, at the very top of our list, comes this sea monster, the box jellyfish, which is not a threat because of its size really, but its highly poisonous nature. It is undisputedly the most poisonous fish in the water.

10 Creepy Sea Creatures You Didn't Know Existed

04:33
Did you know any of these amazing and scary deep sea creatures? It's hard to believe these bizarre animals exist. Subscribe: http://goo.gl/9CwQhg 'Hatchet Fish' footage by Filmic Art : www.filmicart.com For copyright matters please contact us at: [email protected] Description: There is a vast world below the ocean that we have yet to discover in its entirety. While we seem to know nearly everything about the land, the sea still leaves much to be desired. As you go down into the depths of the ocean, you’ll notice a lot will change. For one, you’ll begin to be immersed in darkness. Second, the pressure will change. So, the creatures that have been discovered deep in the oceanic depths are quite different biologically, and they can be quite terrifying to look at. But once we begin to understand them, we can start to learn more about our existence, and even come closer to curing diseases and solving some of the world’s most complex mysteries. However, the sea creatures that have been discovered recently have shown to be just downright creepy and terrifying. You probably recall the Angler Fish, especially if you’re seen the Disney movie, “Finding Nemo”. If you didn’t realize that this fish is the real deal, get ready for new additions to your nightmares. It wasn’t a work of fiction or some messed up fantasy of some Disney Imagineer. The fish that we see in this video is actually female, and the male is a small weakling, wandering the sea to find a female with her pheromones. The male then attaches itself to the female and becomes a parasite. Every part of the male merges with the female except for the testicles, which the female uses to impregnate herself. Jokes aside, this is quite a fascinating process despite how creepy it is. Similar to the angler fish is the Viper Fish, which has a natural extra attachment that illuminates in the darkness of the sea with the purpose of attracting prey. The blob fish is a creature that you wonder what God was smoking or shooting up when he decided to create the blob fish. This fish has no bones, and literally just hangs out on the ocean floor and hopes that food comes to its mouth. Whether you want to worship the blob fish for its epic level of laziness or wonder how in the world the species is still in existence with such an apathetic demeanor, it’s still creepy to look at. Then we have the goblin shark, which is pretty much like the underwater version of the alien from the movie “Alien” due to its protruding mouth. The goblin shark has a large snout and needle-like teeth that are sharp and deadly. For a completely random sea creature, we have the Christmas Tree Worms, which really look like tiny walking fir trees that come in different colors. The branches or hair-like appendages help them breathe as well as consume phytoplankton. Then we have the sea pig, which looks nothing like the pigs we have on land. But instead the sea pig is a multi-tubed foot sea creature that is closely related to the sea cucumber. It eats by pulling water and absorbing organic food. Quite innovative, even though it looks creepy. For more creepy sea creatures, check out the rest of the video for more. 10 Most Dangerous Waters in the World

09:07
For copyright matters please contact us at: [email protected] ► Subscribe: https://goo.gl/gYLyzW ################################ ► Website: http://vid.io/xcRS ► Facebook: https://goo.gl/G0HVYw ► Twitter: http://vid.io/xcRO ► Google +: http://vid.io/xcRM ################################ The world is 70 percent water, so it's probably a good thing that the stuff is good for us. We can drink it, swim in it, grow food with it, and just plain live because of it. However, certain bodies of water are shockingly mean to us. Interacting with some lakes and rivers can hurt us, make us sick, or even kill us. Hello guys and today we're talking about 10 Bodies Of Water That Want You Dead #10. Boiling Lake Dominica Whoever named this place was certainly no fan of subtlety: Boiling Lake is exactly what it sounds like. Discovered in 1870 by two Englishmen, temperatures taken five years later ranged anywhere from 82 to 91.5 °C. #9. Citarum River West Java, Indonesia Here we have a body of water that can destroy us, but only because we screwed it up. Citarum River might well be the most polluted, trash-filled bit of water on the planet. #8. Rio Tinto Spain Rio Tinto is among the most acidic bodies of water around, with a pH balance of 2, at best. This means the Rio Tinto is as strong as stomach acid and is more than powerful enough to kill any fish that dare swim in it. #7. Lake Kivu Of DRC And Rwanda Three hundred meters (1,000 ft) below the surface of Lake Kivu lies a ticking time bomb. Over 250 cubic kilometers (60 cubic miles) of carbon dioxide, along with around 65 cubic kilometers (15 cubic miles) of methane gas, lurks under this body of water, enough to provide electricity to several countries. #6. The Rivers Of Johannesburg South Africa Catching E. coli is no fun under normal circumstances; now imagine you were literally swimming in the stuff. #5. Blackwater River Virginia, USA Too much water can be a bad thing, even if the water can't kill you otherwise. #4. Tualatin River Oregon, USA Oregon's Tualatin River is not the place to be if you want to take your dogs for a swim; close to a dozen pups die there every year from exposure to toxic blue-green algae. #3. Lake Karachay Russia Like a supermodel with a bomb strapped underneath her bodice, Russia's Lake Karachay is pristine, gorgeous, and incredibly deadly. It is, without question, the most radioactive body of water on the planet. #2. Belle Fourche River And South Dakota, USA Belle Fourche isn't poisonous, boiling, or radioactive. However, it is turbulent and wild, at least in one particular area. #1. Potomac River Maryland–West Virginia Border, USA Though the only thing most people know about the Potomac is that Washington, DC is situated on it, the legendary river can also be associated with something else: horrible deaths. Most DANGEROUS Sea Creatures!

Titan Triggerfish There's a misconception when swimming in the ocean that it's "obvious" which creatures will attack you and which ones won't. Like the Titan Triggerfish. Take a look at it. What do you think? Looks like a pretty regular fish right? Exactly! Plus, if you do a little research on Triggerfish as a species, they're actually pretty friendly fish, but this one is in a league of its own, and not in a good way. 7. Flower Urchin While some creatures might look like harmless plants, be careful because appearances can be deceiving!! The flower urchin looks like a nice little bouquet of flowers, and it is one of the most frequently encountered sea urchins. Which is not that great because these echinoderms know how to attack when the time is right! 6. Eels Eels are special creatures, and there are many different types of them living underneath the waters. And many you need to be careful of. Some just like to strike, but others, like the Electric Eel, like to just send a shock through your system. The Electric Eel is a creature that can well and truly charge itself up for an attack, and given that you're most likely underwater when you meet this creature, it means the attack is all the more potent. 5. Barracuda Barracuda are pretty recognizable fish. Not only does it get a bad rap because it killed Nemo’s family, but also because of it’s razor sharp teeth and long shiny body. Of all the different types of Barracuda, the Great Barracuda is the most impressive. After all, it has the name "Great" in it. This creature can be up to six feet long, which is pretty menacing on its own, but its trademark is its speed. 4. Pufferfish There are many fish in the oceans that scare people away, but for entirely different reasons. While an eel or a barracuda is a physical threat, a Pufferfish is a threat inside and out. On the outside, the Puffer Fish has plenty of spines, and if threatened, such as when a human approaches it, it'll fill itself with water and even air, to make it look much larger than before. It’s more of a sentence if you try to swallow it, but actually I think it’s kind of cute. 3. Stingray The Stingray is one creature that everyone should fear and respect. While their attacks are rare, they do happen, and like some other creatures on this list, they’re not afraid of attacking when they feel provoked. The most famous case of a Stingray attack was the strike and killing of beloved zookeeper and animal conservationist Steve Irwin, aka the Crocodile Hunter. 2. Sharks You don’t need me to tell you about sharks! While you can argue that sharks have always been feared, it was "Jaws" that helped bring the hysteria of sharks attacking humans to life. Which is actually kind of ironic, as most shark species DON'T attack humans, even when provoked. Shark attacks are actually pretty low when you look at statistics from around the world. 1. Box Jellyfish Surprised? I know it may seem like sharks are the obvious answer for dangerous sea creatures, but when it comes to the Box Jellyfish, it's a whole other story. The Box Jellyfish lives in the Indo-Pacific region and northern Australia. As such, more people are killed in Australia by the Jellyfish than snakes, sharks and crocodiles...combined! Origins Explained is the place to be to find all the answers to your questions, from mysterious events and unsolved mysteries to everything there is to know about the world and its amazing animals!

Top 5 Deadliest Sharks

07:14
These are the most dangerous creatures that glide below the surface. From the great white to the tiger shark, these marine animals are dangerous predators of the ocean. Gliding just below the surface, these ancient apex predators can transform a nice summer day into mayhem in a matter of seconds. Here are the 5 most dangerous sharks: 5 - The Bull Shark There are more than 375 shark species. Bull Sharks grow 2 to 3 1/2 meters long & clock in at 90 to over 230 kilograms in weight. They are known for their tendency to head-butt victims before moving in to attack. What makes them particularity alarming is their proximity to humans. Unlike other sharks, they live in warm water near coasts worldwide, making a human encounter with a Bull Shark far more likely than with many other species. Think you’re safe outside the sea? Think again. Bull Sharks can, & do infiltrate freshwater rivers! Their physical makeup, especially highly developed kidneys, grant them access to rivers & lakes up to a thousand miles inland. They’ll snack on almost anything, including dolphins, various fish & other sharks. You that right. The Bull Shark is a cannibal. 4 - The Oceanic Whitetip These audacious open-water opportunists are unwelcome first-responders to any nautical disaster. The USS Indianapolis is one of the best-documented cases. Up to 800 sailors perished in the incident. But don’t let their smaller size fool you. Their jaws are exceptionally powerful & devastating. Oceanic Whitetips don’t limit their onslaught to unlucky seamen. They have been known to go after swimmers & divers with ruthless zeal. 3 - The Shortfin Mako Number Three on our list is the Shortfin Mako also known as the blue pointer. They are 4m of fast-moving fish & their lightning speed has earned them a place on this list. Shortfin Mako aren’t especially problematic for humans while in the water, but for fisherman it’s a different story. The shark’s speed causes intense momentum, giving it the ability to hurl out of the water, sometimes landing unexpectedly onto fishing boats. They are the fastest shark recorded, reaching speeds of 32 km an hour, which enables them to jump as high as 6m out of the water. Shortfin Mako sharks have a tendency to fling themselves right out of their natural habitat into ours, like a real life Sharknado. The ensuing damage can be devastating to vessels & fatal to fisherman. They may pose little threat to swimmers, but be beware if your boat is bobbing above them. 2 - The Tiger Shark Jaws might haunt your nightmares as the ultimate villain of the seas, but you’d be forgetting about his little, equally vicious, brother. Australia & Hawaii suffer the brunt of these vicious beasts that glide through their waters. It is as aggressive as it is common, The Tiger Shark, also known as the “garbage can of the sea” for it’s less than picky appetite. It will eat anything, including people, so an unlucky encounter with a Tiger Shark could be your last. Their jaws are designed to pulverize even the hardest shells of sea turtles, making them no match for humans. 1 – Great White Are you hearing the theme music yet? If so, you already know... Number one on our list is none other than The Great White. Great White Sharks have a reputation as oceanic demons, rising from the depths to snatch & butcher unsuspecting swimmers. Great whites can identify a single drop of blood in 100Ls of water, which makes you think twice about jumping into the sea with a skinned knee! Are they the bloodthirsty maniacs that Hollywood has painted them to be? They are certainly terrifying & can, & do, inflict gruesome damage, but the more we learn about Great Whites. Just be careful if you’re floating above them with your surfboard!

MOST DANGEROUS OCEAN CREATURES IN THE WORLD

10:38
While our oceans are teeming with beautiful and fascinating creatures, it’s also vastly populated with some pretty scary, pretty dangerous animals. These are animals you wouldn’t want to come by while swimming out on the open seas; that is, unless you’ve got a thing for danger. Subscribe to Talltanic http://goo.gl/wgfvrr Watch our "Evidence That Aliens HAVE Visited Earth " video here:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iL227eb9FSI Watch our "CRAZY Ideas That Actually Worked!" video here- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0n2wEAiOcg Watch our UNBELIEVABLE Items Found After Tsunamis !" video here- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VNNLwdBI7Gk 4. Stingray These cartilaginous fish are classified into eight distinct families and belong to the suborder Myliobatoidei. They are armed with barbed stingers on their tails that are typically used in self-defense, said stingers being around 13 inches in length. Underneath the stingers, there are two grooves with venom glands inside. They’re also covered by an integumentary sheath, keeping the venom concentrated and ready to be used when needed. They can be dangerous to humans, especially when we try to get too close, and we could find ourselves on the receiving end of a self-defense attack. Probably the most famous human fatality involving a stingray was Steve Irwin, who was snorkeling with stingrays while filming a show called Ocean’s Deadliest. Irwin approached a 6.5 foot (2 meters) ray to film it swimming away, and that’s when the animal got spooked and lashed out. A witness said it struck hundreds of times in a few seconds. Irwin initially believed it had only punctured his lung, but the stingray’s barb connected with his heart, taking his life. 3. Saltwater Crocodile These bad boys are the largest crocodilians in the world and, at times, reach up to 23 feet (7 meters) in length and can weigh as much as 2,200 to 2,600 pounds (1,000-1,200 kg). They’re amazing at camouflaging themselves and at hiding despite their enormous size, and it’s because of this that they’re so deadly. They’re able to blend, allowing their prey to move closer before they strike out and grab hold with their powerful jaws. There are an average of 30 attacks by saltwater crocodiles every year, and around half of those prove to be fatal. On February 5, 1945, it’s believed that saltwater crocodiles fatally attacked more than 400 Japanese soldiers during the Battle of Ramree Island. They have the most extensive distribution of any other crocodile, ranging from northern Australia to Southeast Asia to the eastern coast of India, so be careful and safe travels. 2. Tiger Sharks These sharks are responsible for a large portion of human-shark bite incidents, and they are known to be one of the most dangerous shark species out there. They often hang out in canals, harbors, and shallow reefs, which dramatically increases the chances of human interaction, often resulting in an attack. It’s second on the list of shark bites on humans, following only the scary great white. They are the apex predators in their various ecosystems, but they do fall prey to killer whales, and humans aren’t typically fond of sparing them either. Between 1959 and 2000, 4,668 tiger sharks were culled to protect coastal tourism activities considering they aren’t fond of people, let alone large numbers of them. 1...

Most Dangerous Sea Creatures In The World!

10:18
The ocean isn’t just full of happy sea creatures that sing songs and tiny clownfish on the search for their lost family members - it’s a dark place full of creepy and wild creatures. This is our list of some of the most dangerous sea creatures lurking around in our oceans. Learn about the BIGGEST of everything Monday, Wednesday, and Friday just subscribe! 12 Saltwater Crocodile Crocodiles are one of those animals that are extra scary since they are not limited to coming after you in the water as they’re quite capable of climbing onto land as well. The saltwater crocodile is known to be one of the most dangerous of the crocodiles and one look that that toothy mouth that’s actually closed...it’s easy to see why. They are said to be the most dangerous animal in Australia, which is saying something. Saltwater crocodiles are highly aggressive and can grow up to 17 feet long and up to 1,000 pounds--though there have been that were recorded to be double that size. These territorial animals will go after anything and anyone that wanders near their homes. 11 Bullet Shrimp “How could something so little be so dangerous?” you might be asking. Well, the bullet shrimp didn’t get it’s name for being the size of a bullet. Evolution has helped them engineer their claws to be super functional war machines. They can snap down with so much force that they create a kinetic energy that momentarily gets to the same temperature as the surface of the freakin’ sun! This is probably why you would never see the bullet shrimp in captivity - they could easily destroy the glass of any tank they were contained in with just the snap of their fingers. 10 Textile Cone Snail The conus textile, or the textile cone snail, doesn’t look like it would pose much danger to swimmers, right? And yet they’re extremely venomous. Though their shells are popular for seashell collectors, obtaining them might prove to be a bit difficult and a little dangerous if you go after one that’s still being inhabited. Can you believe the snails that live in these have what are essentially harpoons that come with fatal neurotoxins? The harpoons are able to penetrate human skin and a single drop of this snail’s venom can apparently kill 20 grown men. At that point, is the shell really worth it? 9 Flower Urchin Here’s another creature found in the sea that is deceptively pretty. And don’t be fooled by the name or the way it looks. The flower-like organism is in fact considered part of the kingdom animalia. You might have guessed it just by the way it looks, but flower urchins are highly dangerous sea creatures. If touched, it can produce terrible a sting that needs to be medically treated. As far as their diet is concerned, flower urchins only feed on organisms like bryozoans and algae, so you’re safe on that front. Really, the biggest danger is you’ll be scuba diving or swimming along a coral reef and accidentally touch one. They inhabit environments like seagrass beds, rocky areas underwater, and coral reefs. They look so much like flowers, it’s surprising they’re not plants, and even more so that they’re not to be messed with.

11 Scariest Ocean Predators

09:17
The ocean is full of mysteries, we have gathered a list of 11 of the scariest ocean predators.. that we know of today. Subscribe for weekly wacky videos and learn interesting facts about the world with awesome top 10 lists and other amazing videos. 5 - Leopard Seals - The Leopard Seal is a seal that can be found in the frigid waters of Antarctica. It gets its name from its black-spotted coat that resembles a leopard. Like their namesakes, Leopard seals are fierce predators. Of all the seals, they are the most formidable hunters, and the only ones that feed on warm-blooded prey. They can grow up to 12 feet long and use their powerful jaws and long teeth to prey on fish, squid, penguins, and even other seals! They will often wait underwater near an ice shelf and grab birds as they land on the water. 4 - Frilled Shark - The Frilled shark is a primitive looking shark found in the waters of the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, generally over the continental shelf and slope. It has been found lurking in depths over 5,000 feet. First discovered in the late 1800’s, this “living fossil” gets its name from the frilly or fringed appearance of its 6 gills and its resemblance to ancestors who swam with the dinosaurs. It has an eel like body which it uses to bend and lunge at prey like a snake. It swallows its prey whole and its many rows of teeth make it nearly impossible for anything to escape. It can grow over 6’ long. 3 - Lionfish - The Lionfish is a venomous fish which can be found in the Indian and Pacific Oceans. Its body consists of red, white, and black bands, and it is covered in long brightly colored venomous spines that make it appear like a pin cushion. The Lionfish can grow up to 17 inches long and weigh up to 3 pounds. They mostly prey on small fish, invertebrates, and mollusks, which they eat in one bite. Humans who have been pierced by one of its spines experience extreme pain, vomiting, fever, convulsions, dizziness, and breathing difficulties, sometimes resulting in temporary paralysis, heart failure, and even death in the very young and old. Despite the dangers, Lionfish are one of the most popular fish for home aquariums. 2 - Great White shark – Also known as the white pointer and the white death, the great white shark can be found near the coastal waters of all the oceans. What makes the great white shark so terrifying is its size. The largest of these sharks grow up to 20 feet and 4300 pounds. Typically the females grow up to 16 feet and the males up to 13 feet. The great white can live up to 70 years and is one of the longest living cartilaginous fish known today. The killer whale is its only known threat and can usually hold its own against that predator. The great white feeds on almost all other marine animals and, although humans aren’t their preferred meal, they will happily feed on humans if given the chance. The most reported unprovoked shark attacks on humans has been attributed to the great white shark. It’s this piece of information that the movie Jaws was based on a “ferocious man eating” great white shark. 1 - Killer Whales - Killer Whales, also known as Orcas, are a bit of a misnomer as they actually belong to the dolphin family, of which they are the largest members. Scientists believe their name came from a mistranslation of a Spanish name, for whale killer. They are found all over the world in oceans from the Arctic to the Antarctic. Killer Whales can grow over 30 feet long and weigh over 9 tons. Despite its size, the Killer Whales are very agile and its large size and strength make it one of the fastest marine animals, able to reach speeds of over 30 miles per hour. It also has one of the most distinctive black and white color schemes, which make it stand out from any other marine mammal. They have good eyesight and excellent hearing and can detect prey using their very sophisticated echolocation ability. Killer Whales prey on fish and other marine animals, including seals and even other dolphins. They have even been known to hunt together in pods to kill full grown whales. They sit on top of their food chain and have no known predators.

5 EXTREMELY CREEPY Deep Sea Creatures

03:00
Here are 5 Extremely Creepy Deep Sea Creatures Click Here To Subscribe! http://bit.ly/EliteFacts List : 5. The Ningen This creature from the depths of the ocean may be just about the creepiest thing you could ever see. The reason for this, is that it looks just like a human even having strange limbs that resemble arms and legs. The name Ningen is actually human in Japanese. However, there is no need to panic and worry that the world will be taken over by strange alien sea creatures, because there has never been any official sightings of this little beastie and general opinion is that it’s just a freaky urban myth much like the mermaid. 4. Mantis Shrimp This rainbow hued little creature is not as nice as it looks. It is actually extremely clever and horribly dangerous. One of its main talents is being able to see colours that far surpass even the furthest imagination of humans. As well as, it is an efficient killing machine, it has two appendages at the front of its body which can lash out so powerfully that they cause the water surrounding the creature to reach boiling point! So, even the clever prey that have managed to avoid the physical attack will be rendered defenceless by the boiling water. 3. Pelican Eel Eel’s in general are quite creepy looking, but this one has taken it to another level. This slippery character is basically just a huge mouth with a tail attached. The mouth itself is absolutely terrifying, it unhinges so that its owner can catch prey that is twice its size. The chosen prey is then stored in a pouch within the lower jaw. However, the tail can be just as weird as it possesses a small light producing organ that is called a photophore and this gives off an eerie pink glow. 2. Humpback Anglerfish The female of this species most certainly has a licence to kill. She uses her feminine charm which comes in the form of a bioluminescent lure dangling over her forehead to draw in prey that she can destroy with her rows of ferocious teeth. 1. Predatory Tunicate This is basically a Venus Fly Trap that lives underwater. They are almost completely translucent and they stick themselves to the sea floor and wait patiently for a tasty meal to come along. Once an unsuspecting critter falls for the trap the creatures snap their hoods shut until they’ve had their fill. 10 Most Dangerous and Scariest Waters In the World

06:52
Most people can’t imagine their vacation without some body of water nearby, be it a lake or an ocean. However, there are waters on our planet that can be deadly for revelers. If you aren’t satisfied with these, watch till the end for a savory bonus. TIMESTAMPS Great Blue Hole, Belize 0:52 Jacob’s Well, Texas, USA 1:26 Lake Michigan, USA 1:55 Lake Natron, Tanzania 2:29 Blue Hole, Dahab 3:04 Horseshoe Lake, USA 3:39 Boiling Lake, Dominica 4:05 Rio Tinto, Portugal/Spain 4:32 Drake Passage 5:10 Lake Kivu 5:46 Water creatures 6:11 SUMMARY - Tides turn the Great Blue Hole into a huge vortex that draws in everything on the surface, while ebbs make it spout huge columns of water. Despite all this, though, there still are many who want to see this hole because Jacques Cousteau himself called it one of the best places for diving on Earth. - This 30-foot deep natural well with crystal clear water is one of the most dangerous diving places in the world. At the bottom of Jacob’s Well, there are several entrances to a broad network of caves that many are unable to leave. - Lake Michigan is almost as notorious as the Bermuda Triangle because it’s over this lake that one of the most horrible air crashes in North America occurred for no logical reasons. - Lake Natron is one of the saltiest and most alkaline lakes on Earth, covered with a salt crust that’s sometimes colored red. The water temperature reaches 120°F (50°C) in certain places, which makes it, along with alkalinity, almost unfit for life. Only three kinds of fish live here, adapting to the extreme conditions. - The Blue Hole is possibly the most dangerous place for diving in the world as many divers have died in this 400-foot deep cave. Experienced divers say, though, that properly trained people with experience can dive without fear: the cause of death is usually nitrogen narcosis or insufficient air capacity upon ascent. - The carbon dioxide emitted from the fissures in the bottom of Horseshoe Lake is deadly for everything. The lake was the cause of death of four people, as well as trees growing 100 acres around it. The danger is announced by signs all around. - This mountain lake located eight hours from the ground may heat up to 198°F (92°C) due to hot air spurts from beneath the ground — they often neighbor with lava. Swimming in the lake is strictly prohibited even if there are no characteristic bubbles on its surface because boiling starts in a matter of seconds. - Fossil excavation that has been carried out at the head of the Tinto River for more than 3,000 years lead to it being saturated with copper, iron, and heavy metals, with the acidity leaping sky-high. - Lots of icebergs, wind speeds reaching 80 miles per hour, strong currents, and poor visibility are part of the ordeal that ships going through the Drake Passage must survive. - This seemingly peaceful lake keeps a deadly secret: there are layers of CO2 in it and 55 billion cubic meters of methane at the bottom. Even the slightest earthquake may cause a huge explosion capable of evaporating over 2 million people living around Kivu. BONUS: If you ever decide to swim in a river, lake, or just about any other body of water, make sure to check if it is safe to bathe there. Even places that attract tourists may well be infested with lampreys, hagfish, leeches, or other unpleasant fauna. Many people around the world depend on fishes or products made from fishes for their food and economic livelihood. More than 30,000 different species ply Earth’s oceans and bodies of fresh water. The beauty of many fish species is highlighted in fish stores, aquariums, and in home collections. Some species, however, have darker, more terrifying aspects. A select few of these may attack human beings, while others might deliver a dose of poison when handled carelessly or not properly prepared for consumption. Some species are maligned due to their shocking appearance or by their ferocious reputation in folklore and myth; however, one species, though cute and tiny, threatens bathers in a very, shall we say, personal way.

Hindi |10 Amazing Transparent Animals In Hindi | JustGyan

There are many Transparent creatures/animals present in our earth, some are partially transparent and some are fully transparent. In this video, I will be talking about 10 amazing transparent creatures/animals in Hindi. Please subscribe to my channel JustGyan ►https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLVe2bI0WzTc1lzxE7A3w0g?sub_confirmation=1 Also like my Facebook page► https://www.facebook.com/justgyan1994/ In facebook page, I regularly upload something interesting everyday. ► हिन्दी Hindi | Amazing Animals Abilities https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-QQqmKyCQg4&t ► 5 Deadliest Insects On Earth | Hindi https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=brvMrdHm8S4 1► Mnemiopsis leidyi, the warty comb jelly or sea walnut, is a species of tentaculate ctenophore (comb jelly), originally native to the western Atlantic coastal waters. Three species have been named in the genus Mnemiopsis, but they are now believed to be different ecological forms of a single species M. leidyi by most zoologists. 2► Census of Marine Life researchers discovered this unusual transparent sea cucumber (Enypniastes sp.) in the Gulf of Mexico at 2,750 meters depth. It creeps forward on its tentacles pretty slowly, at around 2 centimeters per minute, while sweeping detritus-rich sediment into its mouth. 3► Greta oto is a species of brush-footed butterfly and member of the subfamily Danainae, tribe Ithomiini, and subtribe Godyridina. It is known by the common name glasswing butterfly for its unique transparent wings. While its wings look delicate, the butterfly is able to carry up to 40 times its own weight. 4► This transparent fish is a juvenile Surgeonfish. They're found in a wide range of waters including those around New Zealand. Believe it or not, it's the same species of fish as Dory from Finding Nemo/Dory! They can grow up to 30 cm (12 inches) long and are popular aquarium fish. 5► The European eel is a critically endangered species. Since the 1970s, the numbers of eels reaching Europe is thought to have declined by around 90% (possibly even 98%). Contributing factors include overfishing, parasites such as Anguillicola crassus, barriers to migration such as hydroelectric dams, and natural changes in the North Atlantic oscillation, Gulf Stream, and North Atlantic drift. 6► Vitreledonella richardi, also known as the glass octopus, is an incirrate octopus. It is the sole representative of the genus Vitreledonella and of the family Vitreledonellidae.Vitreledonella is a transparent, gelatinous, and almost colorless meso- to bathypelagic octopod found worldwide in tropical and subtropical seas with a mantle length (ML) up to 11 cm and a total length up to 45 cm in adults.. 7► The glass frogs are frogs of the amphibian family Centrolenidae (order Anura). While the general background coloration of most glass frogs is primarily lime green, the abdominal skin of some members of this family is transparent. The internal viscera, including the heart, liver, and gastrointestinal tract, are visible through the skin, hence the common name is given as glass frog. 8► Kryptopterus vitreolus, known in the aquarium trade traditionally as the glass catfish and also as the ghost catfish or phantom catfish, is a small species of Asian glass catfish. It is commonly seen in the freshwater aquarium trade, but its taxonomy is confusing and was only fully resolved in 2013. 9► A salp (plural salps), salpa (plural salpae or salpas), is a barrel-shaped, planktonic tunicate. It moves by contracting, thus pumping water through its gelatinous body. Salp jet propulsion is one of the most efficient in the animal kingdom. The salp strains the pumped water through its internal feeding filters, feeding on phytoplankton. 10► The family Cranchiidae comprises the approximately 60 species of glass squid, also known as cockatoo squid, cranchiid, cranch squid, or bathyscaphoid squid. Cranchiid squid occur in surface and midwater depths of open oceans around the world.
