The Best Beach In Puerto Rico We escaped the hotel and took a catamaran tour to explore the Icacos Islands. Beautiful white sand beaches, green palm trees and crystal clear water awaited us. We can't even explain how amazing this day was. The video barely does it justice. If you are ever visiting #PuertoRico, we HIGHLY suggest a day on the catamaran with TravelerPR.com. We can't wait to go back and do the sunset ride! *********************************** SOCIAL MEDIA ------------------------------ Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/DeathByVlog Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/DeathByVlog Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/DeathByVlog Website: http://www.deathbyvlog.com ***SUBSCRIBE*** New videos every week! - http://goo.gl/NaeJhS Music: https://soundcloud.com/din-beats/freedom-happy-acoustic-guitar-hip-hop-beat-prod-by-din-beats #deathbyvlog #puertorico #icacosisland #phillyvlogger _ MY GEAR My Camera Bag - https://goo.gl/8eUOUg My Everyday Bag - https://goo.gl/KRkhTH My Small Bag - https://goo.gl/gvzoJB MY CAMERA GEAR Sony A7Sii - https://goo.gl/PK88ix Sony 70-200 G Lens - https://goo.gl/3UkfNc Sony 24-240 Lens - https://goo.gl/GWiZ4O Sony a5100 - https://goo.gl/KpvaOd Sony Wide Angle Lens - https://goo.gl/SlVeuH Canon 70D - https://goo.gl/vIqtnp Canon Wide Angle Lens - https://goo.gl/9txNYB Canon Zoom Lens - https://goo.gl/R2i3Mt Canon G7X Mark II - https://goo.gl/kOMW5B GoPro Hero 4 Session - https://goo.gl/d5Aszt MY AERIAL GEAR: DJI Mavic Pro - https://goo.gl/P0bFDJ DJI Phantom 4 - https://goo.gl/GYSYuW

10 Cryptids from the Caribbean Islands
From gigantic sharks and turtles, to the legendary and vicious Chupacabra; These are 10 Cryptids From The Caribbean Islands ! Subscribe to Epic Wildlife http://goo.gl/6rzs5u Let's Connect -- http://www.epicadamwildlife.com/ -- http://www.facebook.com/epicadamwildlife -- http://www.twitter.com/epicwildlife -- http://gplus.to/epicwildlife Caribbean Monk Seal -- Chickcharney (chih-char-nee) Caribbean Crowing Snake Curious Cryptids of Christopher Columbus, Pt 1 The Beast of Cojimar (koe-hee-marr) Curious Cryptids of Christopher Columbus, Pt 2 Lusca (LOO-skuh) Mermaids Mermaids are some of the best known cryptids, normally described as humanoid creatures with a lower body resembling a fish tail. They’ve been reported in Caribbean waters many times. We found stories of the English explorer John Smith encountering the creatures in this region in the 17th century. Smith described the mermaid as having long green hair and being quite attractive. Pirates of the Caribbean like Blackbeard are said to have encountered mermaids several times when they weren’t busy looting and plundering. He considered the creatures bad luck and always steered clear of waters where they were thought to exist. Even our friend Christopher Columbus is said to have spotted mermaids in 1493 while sailing near Hispaniola. Unlike John Smith, Columbus said these creatures were uneasy on the eyes. Los Biembiens According to local legends of the Dominican Republic, the isolated mountains of Bahoruco (bow-ROO-koe) contain a group of mysterious hominids identified as Los Biembiens. They’re described as half-human/half-apelike creatures … and sightings of them date back to the 1700s after some indigenous people and an African slave escaped from the Spanish and hid out in the mountains. The theory goes that after being cut off from civilization, the escapees eventually mutated into feral beings that are about the size of child, with deformed bodies. They’re said to be agile climbers that live in the trees … at dusk they come down from the trees and sometimes hunt in groups. The creatures are aggressive, mean-tempered, and have been known to kill humans and eat them. Supposedly, they create tracks that face backwards, which disguises their movements and keeps them hidden. Locals say the creatures are real … and occasional sightings in the area are still reported. By the way, should you encounter one, experts advise that you run. Giant Scuttle Ciguapa (see-GWAH-pah) Chupacabra By now you know that ‘Chupacabra’ translates into ‘Goat Sucker’. Initial reports of this creature actually began in Puerto Rico in March of 1995, when eight sheep were found dead … Each had three puncture wounds to the chest and were completely drained of blood. Authorities initially thought the mutilations were the work of a predator like a fox. Later, a woman named Madelyne Tolentino claimed to have witnessed the monster that was responsible for the killings. She claimed it was a bipedal beast, with bulging black eyes, and stood around 4 feet tall. In November of 1995, some 30 people also claimed to see chupacabras in Canovanas (kan-OH-van-as). That same month, around 150 animals including goats, cows and horses were found dead and exsanguinated … with those same three puncture wounds on their bodies. More than 1,000 animal deaths were attributed to the Chupacabra by the end of 1995. By then, eyewitness accounts resulted in a general description of the creature: It stood up to 5 feet tall, had glowing red eyes, gray skin, fangs, and long spinal quills that might function as wings. Sounds a lot different from the descriptions nowadays. From that time on, reports of the legendary goat sucker have occurred all over the world.

Caribbean Cruise 4K | Royal Caribbean Cruise - Puerto Rico, St Maarten, St Kitts, Antigua, St Lucia
Cruisin' the Caribbean! Check out our vacation from Royal Caribbean, Freedom of the Seas this year. We booked a cruise through Royal Caribbean that left out of San Juan (Puerto Rico), also our new home! We stayed for a week in San Juan at the time before boarding the Royal Caribbean Freedom of the Seas that made stops in St. Maarten, Antigua, St. Kitts, St. Lucia and Barbados before heading back to San Juan Puerto Rico. #royalcaribbean #cruise #caribbean #caribbeancruise #freedomoftheseas -------------------------------------------------------- ***If you are planning on taking this cruise or ANY cruise, we highly recommend checking out our recommended cruise products: http://www.plentifultravel.com/reviews/travel/top-cruise-products/ to take along with you. As frequent cruisers, we have found them to come in extremely handy, making our vacation that much better!*** Things to do in Puerto Rico - When you arrive, you are likely to stay in San Juan. You have options between Condado, Isla Verde, and Old San Juan. Stay in or near Old San Juan! Plentiful Travel has many recommendations for San Juan, Puerto Rico. For more extensive details on where to go and things to do in San Juan, check out this video by our channel, Plentiful Travel youtu.be/_8F4g0UFoY0 and this article www.plentifultravel.com/destinations/top-things-to-do-in-san-juan-puerto-rico/. Things to do in Antigua - Antigua is a treasure of the Caribbean. On your next Caribbean cruise, make sure to take one that stops in Antigua and check out the white sand beaches of Jolly Harbour. Beware that the jetski rental will scam you! Things to do in St Marteen - Divided into two sides, French and Dutch, you have your choice on creating your experience. One of the best things to do and see on a Caribbean cruise is the planes landing at Maho Beach. You can take a taxi (expensive) but what we learned is to travel like locals. There is a bus stop about a quarter mile from the cruise port in St Marteen. It costs somewhere under $5 per person for transportation to Maho Beach, and the same going back. There is a great Caribbean style bar at Maho Beach with great drinks and a great atmosphere. Things to do in St Kitts - Make this your relax at the beach destination and splurge a little on a nice beach chair and umbrella. At South Friars Bay in St Kitts, they have a convenient restaurant and beach club where they sell chilled wine, floats, etc for not very expensive. You can easily spend a couple hours there enjoying the Caribbean sea before heading back to the cruise. Things to do in St Lucia - In St Lucia, you have plenty of options of white sand beaches. We recommend Marigot Bay for exclusivity and lush landscapes. Stop and do a rum tasting and grab some local soursop along the way! This was a favorite stop of Plentiful Travel. -------------------------------------------------------- Here are some products that we recommend for this trip: --Sony a6000 Camara https://www.plentifultravel.com/product/sony-alpha-a6000-mirrorless-digital-camera/ --IR Wireless Remote Control For Sony A6000: https://www.plentifultravel.com/product/ir-wireless-remote-control-sony-a6000/ --GoPro Hero 5: https://www.plentifultravel.com/product/gopro-hero-5-black/ --GoPro Hero Dome: https://www.plentifultravel.com/product/dome-gopro-hero-4-hero-3/ --Barefoot water socks: https://www.plentifultravel.com/product/water-skin-shoes/ --Collapsable travel backpack: https://www.plentifultravel.com/product/outlander-packable-lightweight-travel-backpack/ --Waterproof phone case: https://www.plentifultravel.com/product/universal-waterproof-phone-case/ --Rum Runner: https://www.plentifultravel.com/product/cocktail-caddy-cruise-liquor-kit/ --Snorkeling Set: https://www.plentifultravel.com/product/phantom-aquatics-speed-sport-signature-mask-fin-snorkel-set/ --Wall outlet surge protector: https://www.plentifultravel.com/product/belkin-6-outlet-dual-usb/ --Compact beach towel: https://www.plentifultravel.com/product/microfiber-beach-travel-towel/ -------------------------------------------------------- --Royal Caribbean Cruise - Freedom of the Seas --Things to do in San Juan Puerto Rico --Things to do in St. Maarten --Things to do in Antigua --Things to do in St. Kitts --Things to do in St. Lucia ---------------------------------------------- For more videos, photos, tips & tricks and reviews, please visit http://www.plentifultravel.com or follow us on social media: --Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/plentifultravel/ --Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/plentifultravel/ --YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/plentifultravel ---------------------------------------------- MORE TRAVEL VIDEOS Waking up on Catalina Island, CA: https://youtu.be/h2lpNm7DP4I San Juan Puerto Rico Vacation: https://youtu.be/_8F4g0UFoY0 Exuma Bahamas Vacation: https://youtu.be/VIb3xJKKjx0 Grand Luxxa Vidanta Nueva Vallarta: https://youtu.be/5bcnVXMMjwQ How to Make a Vacation Vidoe: https://youtu.be/a2DBFHTLp5Y

Visit Puerto Rico in the Caribbean Sea | Travel Guide | Travel Tips | vacation destinations
World Tube https://www.youtube.com/user/World1Tube Travel Guide to Canary Islands http://bit.ly/1ai2qw8 Puerto Rico is located in the northeastern Caribbean Sea, east of the Dominican Republic and west of both the United States Virgin Islands and the British Virgin Islands. Its visitors can enjoy the island's water sport such as surfing and fishing, discover the pleasure resort and the Palmitos Park, among other tourist attractions. The protected bay of Puerto Rico is the training camp of the Spanish national sailing team as well at the home of beginner or advanced surfers and yachtsmen. It's a real water sport, fishing and diving center with a big yacht harbor and an artificially filled sand beach. The formerly barren steep rock walls are not even visible owing to the terraced hotels and apartments creeping up the mountains. The houses crowd in four or five lines between the water and the rocks. Like anywhere else on the island, building fever has grown to huge dimensions. A self generating spiral of prosperity created by tourism can be seen everywhere. More money makes it possible to build hotels and new buildings, redecorate old ones, landscape the area and build roads. This attracts even more tourists who bring even more money and sell on who knows for how long. The pleasure resort built in the valley of Torito can be used by everyone but of course, mainly the guests of the four surrounding hotels go there. Like Loro Park on Tenerife, Palmitos Park strives to show plants, palms and cactuses as well as animal species native to the islands on Gran Canaria. In the 20 acre park, which was built in Barranco de Fataga canyon near Las Palomas, mainly the botanical garden is highlighted. 45 kinds of palms and 160 kinds of cactuses can be found here. There's also an orchid park and a butterfly farm. In the huge aquarium, 150 kinds of fish species swim. The sight is made even more colorful by 1200 birds. Puerto Rico: Treasure Hunt under the Caribbean Sun
Puerto Rico is more than tropical beaches, sun and rum. As big as Connecticut in the US the tiny state of islands offers green mountains, waterfalls, tropical rainforest, and much more. Only 3 hours southeast of Miami and 4 from New York and Boston it is in between the Caribbean Sea, Dominican Republic and North Atlantic Ocean. As a US-commonwealth that governs itself it uses the US-Dollar as official currency. You can travel in time into their strong Spanish history and re-discover pirate stories in every corner of the archipelago — and watch out for pirates like Roberto Cofresi or his ancestors. Despite being an island state, its capital and largest city, San Juan, accounts for the highest density of vehicles on the road of any country in the world - 4,300 vehicles per paved mile. It is the oldest city in this hemisphere and builds the South corner of the infamous and mysterious Bermuda Triangle. San Juan is however your best starting point into the Puerto Rican adventure and learning journey with ON BOARD, where you visit all the popular places and a dozen other ones people barely know of. You will meet locals in their home towns to make their reality be a mentor for your life, see busy San Juan in the North, relax in laid-back Ponce in the South, admire the Spanish colonial architecture in San Germán, and get to know Puerto Rico’s native people (the Taíno Indians) and learn about them in their former settlement in Bayamón. Get adventurous in the Central Mountain Range (covering sixty percent of the country) and dine fine in the rich gastronomy of Mayagüez. And when you’re heading very East, Fajardo welcomes you as the starting point to the islands of Vieques, Culebra and La Cordillera with one of Puerto Rico’s three bioluminescent bays that glow in the dark! Go back in time, into the 16th and 17th century, to pay a visit to El Morro with walls as high as cliff divers jump from or The San Juan Gate, a 6 meters-thick door that protected the city from invaders. Puerto Rican culture lives through their indigenous Taíno ancestry and strong North American, Caribbean and Spanish influence. Therefore Spanish is the language of daily life but you can get along with English relatively well. In Old San Juan, for example, you should try their traditional meal of pork, rice and beans. And taste their stew called „asopao“ or „mofongo“ that consists of seafood, meat or vegetables and mashed plantains on top. Out of the city you wanna explore the rain forest, deserts, coastal lowlands, karst area, oceans and rivers. Sadly, El Yunque is the only remaining (tropical) rain forest system in Puerto Rico and the US, with the size of approx. 16,000 soccer fields. You find thousand varieties of tropical plants like poinciana, flaming red blooms, huge kapok trees, sugarcane or fruits like pineapples, plantains or bananas. And if you’re a spelunker, there are over 200 caves to explore in the Río Camuy Cave Park, or you may wanna snorkel, dive, surf or sail along the 270 miles of white-sand beach and its beautiful coral reefs in front. Meet the Galápagos Islands of the Caribbean Sea: Mona and Monito Island. No offshore islands within the US territory offers such ecological uniqueness and biological diversity in such a small area. Explore Puerto Rico in our learning journey around the island in 2016. As a US citizen you don’t even need a passport to visit San Juan, or any other part of Puerto Rico, and you can send letters and postcards to anywhere in the US for regular domestic postal rates. And when you ask a Puerto Rican about their nationality, don’t be surprised when they answer: „I’m as Puerto Rican as a coquí“, a small tree frog being their most popular national symbol that demonstrates resilience and strength. Exactly this is what the indigenous Taíno have been showing in their history when they were close to extinction, just like the coquí. And we don’t want that to happen any time in the future. So. 🇵🇷 San Juan, Puerto Rico | Eastern Caribbean Cruise 2018 | Carnival Breeze | Day 5 Vlog
🛳 Welcome back to day 5 of our cruise vlog! First time in San Juan and it was beautiful! This was our 3rd stop and also my FAVORITE stop! The boys decided last minute they weren't up for all the walking so they hung out in Camp Carnival for a few hours while we walked around San Juan's National Historic Site which had incredible views and had so much history! We explored around the capital and captured breathtaking architecture in every single corner. We also found STARBUCKS! We bumped into a cute little pho/bar/nail place and spoke to the owner who was super nice and so welcoming. Everyone we met here was so genuinely nice! I really hope you guys enjoy this vlog and if you did, hit that like button! Let me know down in the comments below if you've been here before and where you recommend us to stop by the next time we come here because we are definitely coming back! Next stop? 👉 GRAND TURK! #7 Sailing the Caribbean: Puerto Rico to the US Virgin Island's
On this episode, we cruise along the south coast of Puerto Rico and eventually land at Palmas Del Mar Marina. We then spend a few days on Vieques, then Culebra before crossing over to the USVI's and St. Thomas - just in time for the end of the 2015 Virgin Island's Carnival and the fireworks show that was launched from a barge only 850 feet off our bow.

Royal Caribbean Explorer of the Seas 9 Day Cruise New York Puerto Rico St Thomas St Maarten
Royal Caribbean Explorer of the Seas 9 Day Cruise New York Puerto Rico St Thomas St Maarten Leaving New York... Actually it's Bayonne New Jersey...on a calm March afternoon, we had no idea that a Noreaster was waiting to cause havoc on our cruise just one day in. With 65 mph winds in our face and the ship travelling at 25 mph right into the teeth of the storm, we had to endure 90 to 100 mph winds and 45 foot waves for 30 hours. But we made it through and the third day was glorious with 85 degree weather and calming seas. Arriving in Puerto Rico on day 4, we docked in San Juan before we awoke and spent a lazy day walking around Old Town San Juan. I can now appreciate the Old Town today since the devastating Hurricanes Irma and Maria passed through in Sept 2017. Tha same can be said of our next two stops St Thomas and St Maarten which we enjoyed as well. Coming back to New York via Bayonne NJ was completly uneventful and it was all over on day 9. Great staff, great stops, mostly great weather, but the price was right only $565 per person for 9 nights in an inside room. I ate more than that on the cruise. Check out my playlists on Cruising and my new playlist called.. So I Know You Like a Good Story... Subscribe to my channel today!
