16 FAMOUS LOGOS WITH A HIDDEN MEANING (That We Never Even Noticed)

06:28
How to design a successful logo? How to build a famous brand for your business? Some of the most well-known logos in the world were purposefully designed to indicate something much more than simple beauty. In fact, it seems that in some cases, every line, curve, and color has meaning behind it. Adidas, Apple, BMW, Coca-Cola, Toyota… We see these famous brands everywhere but never consider what their logos exactly mean. Curious to know the secret? Watch the 16 famous logos with a hidden meaning you've never noticed. #logomeaning #logosecret # Hyundai 0:33 The letter ’Н’ symbolizes two people – a client and a representative of the company – shaking hands. Adidas 0:52 The current logo is three stripes at an angle which together form a triangle. This symbolizes a mountain, which in turn represents the challenges that all sportsmen have to overcome day after day. Apple 1:21 Rob Janoff, the designer who came up with the world-famous Apple company logo, explained his idea in one of his interviews. He bought a bag of apples, placed them in a bowl, and spent time drawing them for a week, trying to break the image down into something simple. Vaio 1:58 The first two letters of the Vaio logo symbolize an analogue wave. The last two are similar to the numbers 1 and 0 — that is, symbols of a digital signal. Amazon 2:14 The orange arrow is similar to a smile because the company wants its customers to be satisfied. The arrow is also stretched between the letters ’A’ and ’Z’, in a hint that the company sells absolutely every product you can imagine. Baskin Robbins 2:40 The pink-colored parts of the "BR" section make up the number 31, which is how many ice cream flavors Baskin Robbins used to famously sell. Toyota 2:56 The logo represents a stylized image of a needle eye with a thread passing through it. This is a hint at the company’s past – they used to produce weaving machines. Continental 3:28 Continental, a famous car tire producer, has a logo in which the first two letters depict a car wheel. Formula 1 3:41 If you look carefully at the white space between the letter ’F’ and the red stripes, you can see the number 1. Pinterest 3:59 On Pinterest, people collect images they like from across the Internet and ’pin’ them to their online boards. That’s why the image of a pin is hidden in the letter P. Beats 4:17 Beats, an audio equipment producer based in the USA, uses a logo in which the letter ’B’ looks like headphones on a person’s head. Toblerone 4:32 The famous chocolate company based in Bern, Switzerland, has a silhouette of a bear in its logo. That's because Bern is sometimes called a city of bears. BMW 4:55 The logo is simply a part of the Bavarian flag, the area of Germany where the company originated. LG 5:18 The logo is a stylized image of a person’s face. According to the company, this represents its aspiration to have human relations with their customers. Evernote 5:34 The corner of the elephant’s ear is folded over in a similar way how people fold the corner of a page to make notes. Coca-Cola 5:57 In the space between the letters ’O’ and ’L’, you can see the Danish flag. It’s purely a coincidence. Nevertheless, Coca-Cola has used this as part of its marketing campaigns in the Scandinavian country. If you’ve enjoyed this video, hit that thumbs up button! Luxury Brands You Shouldn't Spend Your Hard Earned Money On

04:33
There are some luxury brands you simply shouldn't spend your hard earned money on. That's not to say luxury brands aren't worth it. There are many, many high quality companies out there putting out high quality products. There's a reason companies like Mercedes Benz and Tiffany have the reputation they do. But a lot of people assume that luxury brands are made better than other brands, and that simply isn't always the truth. This doesn't necessarily mean you should never ever splurge on a designer label dress or fancy accessories, but it does mean you should absolutely do your research before you shop luxury — and when you shop, shop around. The key with luxury is having the right combination of style, functionality, and quality that makes an item worth its price tag. The truth is there are a lot non-luxury brands out there that are also making quality items that are stylish and functional. So you have to ask yourself, in a side-by-side comparison, is the luxury brand version of an item worth the often very steep price increase? We would argue in the case of many brands the answer is no. Another layer to consider here is that a lot of brands, for whatever reason, develop reputations that far surpass what the company actually deserves, which just adds to the confusion. So whether you're looking to treat yourself to something nice or are shopping for the perfect gift, here are the luxury brands you shouldn't spend your money on. What does BRAND AMBASSADOR mean? BRAND AMBASSADOR meaning - BRAND AMBASSADOR definition - BRAND AMBASSADOR explanation. Source: Wikipedia.org article, adapted under https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ license. A Brand Ambassador (sometimes also called a Corporate Ambassador) is a person who is hired by an organization or company to represent a brand in a positive light and by doing so help to increase brand awareness and sales. The brand ambassador is meant to embody the corporate identity in appearance, demeanor, values and ethics. The key element of brand ambassadors is their ability to use promotional strategies that will strengthen the customer-product-service relationship and influence a large audience to buy and consume more. Predominantly, a brand ambassador is known as a positive spokesperson, an opinion leader or a community influencer, appointed as an internal or external agent to boost product or service sales and create brand awareness. Today, brand ambassador as a term has expanded beyond celebrity branding to self-branding or personal brand management. Professional figures such as good-will and non-profit ambassadors, promotional models, testimonials and brand advocates have formed as an extension of the same concept, taking into account the requirements of every company. The term brand ambassador loosely refers to a commodity which covers all types of event staff, varying between trade show hosts, in store promotional members and street teams. According to Brain, the job of a brand ambassador was undertaken typically by a celebrity or someone of a well-known presence, who was often paid considerably for their time and effort. Nowadays however, a brand ambassador can be anyone who has knowledge or can identify certain needs a brand is seeking. The fashion industry however, solely rely on celebrity clientele in order to remain brand ambassadors. Furthermore, brand ambassadors are considered to be the key salesperson for a product or service on offer. They must remain well informed when it comes to the brand they are representing, due to their nature of being the go-to person when questions arise from consumers. The brand ambassador's job is to drive results through communication tools either publicly, such as social media, or privately including emails, messaging and further one-to-one channels.

10 Secrets Hidden Inside Famous Logos

04:34
See more at www.brilliantnews.com Branding nowadays is absolutely everywhere you look. We are constantly bombarded with so many icons and logos that we rarely stop to look further into them, but there are some very interesting and bizarre secrets hiding within these 10 famous logos! 1. Hyundai Bet you think the H logo is just the first letter of the South Korean car manufacturer Hyundai? Of course you do! But it actually represents two figures: the happy client shaking hands with the Hyundai salesman, cleverly projecting the subliminal message of a successful car purchase. 2. Apple It was Rob Janoff who was tasked with creating the apple logo back in 1977. Janoff bought a bag of apples and spent the week sketching them, trying to represent the perfect angle where the fruit couldn´t be mistaken for a cherry. This was when he added a bite mark and stumbled across the similarity between Bite and Byte. This was definitely a selling point for Steve Jobs. 3. Vaio The first two letters in the computer company's name symbolize a digital waveform and the io is designed to look like a 1 and a 0, representing binary and the mix of analog and digital. Also the melody that sounds on startup actually derives from the dialtone sounds on a telephone keypad on typing V-A-I-O 4. Amazon Always aiming to please, Amazon designed their logo to represent a smile, projecting a sense of satifaction in their brand. Not only that, but the arrow also starts at ´a´ and finishes at 'z' implying that the company stocks every product you could possibly desire. 5. Toyota T-o-y-o-t-a. All the letters of the companies name can be found within the logo. But what does it represent? You're thinking A big strong buffalo's head or a cowboy with a hat, right? Wrong! It actually represents a needle and thread! This Japanese car manufacturer actually began making weaving machines and keeps its logo to this day! 6. Continental Sometimes overlooked, the continental logo is simple and clever. The first two letters are designed to symbolize a car wheel. 7. Toblerone This awkward-to-eat chocolate treat doesn't just have a simple mountain in its logo. Toblerone is made in Bern, Switzerland, so it´s no surprise to see one of the Swiss alps in its logo. But it also hides a secret bear hidden in the mountain, as Bern is known as the city of bears and the bear symbol is heavily decorated throughout the city. 8. BMW The German motor company started out making airplanes in 1916 and many think that the checker pattern in its logo represents the spinning propellers of an airplane. But it is actually just the design of the Bavarian flag, the part of Germany where the company originated. 9. Domino's Pizza In 1960 College dropout Tom Monaghan borrowed $900 to by a tiny pizza placed called Dominic's. 5 years later he bought 2 more locations. The former owner refused Tom the permission to use his name in the franchise so Tom turned it into Domino's. The dice in the logo represent the first restaurant that he bought, followed by the next two, and he had planned on adding numbers on every new opening. That was before he realized how big the franchise would become. 10. Unilever Who is Unilever, right? It's actually a huge corporation which owns over 400 famous brands. You've only got to look on the back of any of these popular products to find their logo hiding there. (Axe, Lipton, Ben and Jerry's, Dove, Heartbrand, Hellman's) But that's not all, the actual unilever logo is made up of 25 smaller logos, each with a rich meaning. A strand of hair or an icecream representing various brands, to more obscure references, like this bee... Which of these logos surprised you the most? Comment Below!

9 WORST Company Failures!

11:04
Dumbest ways companies have failed to predict the future or made decisions that bankrupted them! Whatever happened to Blockbuster and Borders? Find out on this countdown of epic business blunders! #9. “Kodak”- The Eastman Kodak Company was founded in 1888 and was the most successful company in the photography industry during the 20th Century. They were the leaders in bringing the cutting edge of photographic technology and easy to use cameras to the hands of consumers throughout the world. But Kodak almost met its demise at the hands of a product that it actually invented: digital photography. Kodak invented this technology in 1975, but failed to jump on the innovation, believing that common applications for it were well into the future. Early on, the company thought that the high cost and complexity that would be needed to make a push into the digital front weren’t in Kodak’s best interests. So, Kodak put digital photography to the side to be picked back up when the time was financially advantageous, but they waited too long. By the time they switched gears, they faced competitors who had been perfecting their business models with digital photography at the center, whereas Kodak’s model was still dependent on printed photos. While other companies made deals with websites, phone companies and focused on online based imaging, Kodak floundered and in 2012 filed for Bankruptcy. They have since come back from bankruptcy and started specializing in producing smartphones and tablets. #8. “Pan American”- From 1927 until 1991, Pan Am was the largest airline company in the United States, but due to bad foresight, callous labor practices and an uncontrollable disaster this global giant quickly met its end. The company basically had a monopoly on overseas travel until World War II but was dealt its first major blow when other strong airline companies began to up their game. Pan Am fought off the competitors with its innovations such as jumbo jets and an advanced system for making reservations but these innovations couldn’t match the corporate aptitude and human relations that the other airlines dealt with more astutely. One of the main reasons for Pan Am’s failure was ironically due to its early successes. Because of the sheer size of its fleet, it was the company hit the hardest by the 1973 oil crisis. Just before the crisis, Pan Am had just purchased a number of brand new gas-guzzling Boeing 747s and was forced to dramatically raise ticket prices to recuperate. As it was trying to recover from this setback it had also become a target of terrorism in the Middle East. To the terrorists Pan Am was a symbol of the United States overseas because it was the largest U.S. airline servicing the area. During the Gulf War, in the midst of financial hardships and battles with labor unions, Pan American 103 on a transatlantic flight from Frankfurt, Germany to Detroit was blown up by Libyan nationals above the Scottish town of Lockerbie. The incident scared even more customers away from flying Pan Am and many travel agents would no longer book flights on their planes. All of these events and poor managing of them led Pan American International Airways to declare bankruptcy and completely fold in 1991. #7. “Borders”- Tom and Louis Borders opened their first bookstore in 1971. Their vast selection of books and innovative inventory system turned them into the second biggest chain of book megastores. Due to years of miscalculating the future of book consumption, the bookstore all but vanished in 2011. It all started in the mid 90s when Amazon and other online stores hit the scene. Instead of developing their own website and focusing on online sales, the company decided to further their storefront endeavors and expanded into Europe and Asia opening hundreds of stores. Their competitor Barnes and Noble, did the opposite by preparing for the digital age, perfecting their online sales system and focusing on their storefront operations in the United States. When Borders did start to catch on to the online market they were already far behind and decided to use Amazon as a host for such sales. Because of this, as more and more sales were made online, instead of receiving 100% of the profit they had to share with Amazon. Borders also was caught in the past by devoting lots of money and inventory towards DVDs and CDs at a time when digital music and video was on the rise. While Barnes and Noble developed it’s own e-reader to grab paperless book market by the horns, Borders was extremely slow to adapt to the change. All of these factors came to a boiling point in 2006 when, after several years of losing millions of dollars Borders filed for bankruptcy. By 2011, Borders realized there was no way out and closed most of its remaining stores. The only stores remaining are in southeast asia where it remain Borders in name only, as they were sold to a company named Popular Holdings.

10 Mistakes and Secrets You Never Knew About Famous Logos

08:25
You’d think that the most successful companies in the world invest good money for their logos to be picture-perfect, yet even Google isn’t immune to messing up a logo design. Pay attention to 10 super famous company logos that are hiding something or have design fails and mistakes in them. We all know what the White House looks like, and you’d think there’d be no possible difficulties recreating it in an image. However, there were at least 3 attempts to create a logo, all of which resulted in mistakes. Wikipedia’s logo representing knowledge has a really embarrassing mistake right in the middle of the image! You wouldn’t catch it unless you know Chinese, so we’ll let you in on the big secret. Some people saw a man bending over vomiting in the London Olympics logo, while others were joking that it looked like Lisa Simpson in a compromising position. Salvador Dali hired to design the Chupa Chups logo put the brand’s name on a bright daisy and insisted that the logo be placed on top of the wrapper so that everyone could see it. And it’s basically stayed the same since then! When asked about the imperfection of letter “G” in their logo, Google chose the best route a person can when explaining his or her mistakes. They simply said that they’re aware of the inaccurate “G”, but that was all part of the plan! This slight imperfection makes their image playful and approachable. Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music TIMESTAMPS The White House 0:38 Wendy’s 1:29 Wikipedia 2:20 Hershey’s Kisses 3:28 The London Olympics 3:54 7-Eleven 4:42 Chupa Chups 5:17 Walt Disney 6:01 Pepsi 6:47 Google 7:17 SUMMARY -The designers of the White House’s logo made mistakes depicting the arch shape, mixed up the order of the windows and even lost pillars on the roof. -You might see nothing special in Wendy’s white and blue striped collar, but a closer look will reveal the word “mom” right in the center. -Wikipedia logo’s designer meant to write the Chinese word “wi”, but one tiny yet extra stroke made the symbol gibberish. -Lean your head towards your left shoulder, and you’ll get a sweet surprise: a chocolate kiss between the “K” and “I”. -Iranian participants in the London Olympic Games were upset by the peculiar style of the numbers 2012 because they read the word “Zion” in it. -All the letters in the word “eleven” in 7-Eleven logo are capitalized, except for one: the “n”. -The creator of Chupa Chups Spaniard Enric Bernat picked the most famous surrealist artist in the world Salvador Dali himself to design the new brand logo. -Those elegant swirls in the “W”, “i” and “y” in Disney logo look exactly like three sixes in a row. -If you wanna see what Pepsi can potentially do to you, just add a little circle on top of its logo, some arms and legs, and voila. -The letter “G” in Google logo doesn’t look the way it should. It’s not the complete perfect circle it’s supposed to be, and the inner circle is also far from ideal. SFD044: This Company Runs their Fashion Brand like a Tech Startup (and they're crushing it)

53:06
Get full show notes here: sfdnetwork.com/44 *************** Do you ever feel like the fashion design and development process moves at a snail’s pace? We often work years and multiple seasons ahead, and by the time product is delivered, it’s easy to feel like it’s already outdated. Voormi thinks about things differently, and they’re pushing the boundaries and timelines that fashion takes. What takes many brands 10 weeks to get done, they do in 10 days or even 10 hours. How? They approach fashion with a tech startup mentality: rapid iteration and testing. They keep the entire design + development process close by (everything – even fiber sourcing and textile production – is done in the US). They use their own proprietary fabrics and work hard to push the performance limits of natural fibers. Timm Smith is the CMO at Voormi, and he graciously took time to share their story and give us a behind the scenes sneak peak at how they built a brand that parallels industry giants like The North Face and Arcteryx. If you’re curious about where the future of fashion is headed, you’ll love our talk (they are pioneering some amazing stuff). If you’re a textile nerd, you’ll love our talk (we geek out more than once). If you’re passionate about made in America, you’ll love our talk. YOU WILL LEARN: * Why Voormi decided to base their business out of a tiny town in rural CO (instead of a port town) * How they developed multiple patented fabrications that push the boundaries of natural fibers * How rapid iteration and testing helps protect their product from knockoffs * Why they spent 3 years on R&D before they officially launched * Why they had to look outside the apparel market to find partners for textile sourcing and production GUEST INFO AND RESOURCES: * Voormi’s site: https://voormi.com/ ENJOY THE SHOW? Retailers CLOSING in 2019!

11:16
The shopping landscape has changed in the recent decade. The “Retail Apocalypse” began in 2010 and since then many North American retail stores have struggled to stay above water. Over 12,000 physical stores are gone. Here are some of the companies that couldn’t survive the catastrophe. Subscribe to Talltanic http://goo.gl/wgfvrr Watch our "Evidence That Aliens HAVE Visited Earth " video here:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iL227eb9FSI Watch our "CRAZY Ideas That Actually Worked!" video here- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0n2wEAiOcg Watch our UNBELIEVABLE Items Found After Tsunamis !" video here- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VNNLwdBI7Gk 9. Family Dollar In 2015, Dollar Tree bought the Family Dollar chain for $8.5 million, which. Last year, Dollar Tree already axed 120 locations. As of now, 390 more Family Dollar locations will close, and 200 more will be converted into Dollar Tree stores. The thousand remaining stores are scheduled for renovations and will include alcohol sections and Dollar Tree merchandise. Some people believe that Dollar Tree should have never bought Family Dollar because the two companies were too different. However, Dollar Tree earned nearly $22 billion last year, so maybe something’s going right. 8. The Children’s Place Where are parents of small children going to buy clothes now that Gymboree and The Children’s Place are going out of business? The retailer plans to close 300 stores by 2020. So far, they have about 100 more to go before they reach that goal. Currently, they have 988 locations, though they began their downsizing initiative back in 2013. Luckily, The Children’s Place isn’t in deep water when it comes to losing sales. If anything, their sales are steady, but they still want to cut costs to remain profitable. 7. Chico’s Chico’s used to rule the market when it came to selling clothes to the middle-aged women. Chico’s also owns similar brands like Soma and White House Black Market, which have also seen a decrease in sales. At the start of January 2019, Chico’s said they were closing 250 stores in the next three years. They explained they wanted to have a more prominent presence online and do away with the more out-dated aspects of the brand. 6. J. Crew Preppy fashions have seen a dip in popularity in the past decade. If you look back to the 2000s, a preppy clothing brand like J. Crew was at the top of the profit charts. Now? Not so much. J. Crew has closed six stores throughout the US for 2019. That doesn’t seem like a huge loss, but they already shuttered 50 stores last year. J. Crew’s CEO Jim Brett stepped down in 2018, and now four new executives are trying to lead J. Crew back to the top. At least the J.Crew-owned brand, Madewell, is still trending. 5. Ascena Retail Group Ascena Retail Group owns brands like Lane Bryant, Ann Taylor, and Justice. These places adhere to different demographics of females, yet Ascena can’t seem to make their business work as well as they want. They own almost 5,000 apparel stores in the US, making it one of the most spread-out companies on this list. In 2017, the retail group planned to close up to 667 stores for the next 2 years. As of now, Ascena closed 31 stores and is on track to close more. 4. Charlotte Russe Charlotte Russe is like Forever21 but not as well-received. This fast-fashion chain was founded in the 70s. As of March, they will liquidate all of their stores. Earlier this year, Charlotte Russe filed for bankruptcy and only wanted to close 94 of its 512 stores. Their strategy was to use bankruptcy as a way to eliminate their debts and hope another company would buy them to stay in business. However, liquidating company, SB360 Capital Partners won Charlotte Russe in a bankruptcy court auction for $160 million and prompted for the company to shut down. 3. Gap Remember the days when shopping at Gap was all the rage? However, the youth is now opting for more affordable, on-trend stores like H&M and Forever 21. The Gap is closing their stores little by little and in the next two years have the intent to close up to 230. It’s third-quarter earnings report showed profits declining at 7%. On January 20, 2019, they shuttered their New York flagship store. 2. Payless ShoeSource Payless served as a supplier of trendy footwear that was reasonably priced. They were famous for their BOGO (buy one, get one) deals, which allowed you to bring home two pairs of shoes for the price of one or one and a half. We must bid Payless goodbye since they could not compete with cheaper online stores. In the past couple of years, Payless has gradually been shuttering stores. In February, they said they were going to close the 2,100 remaining locations in the US and Puerto Rico. 1...

Bus Company Introduces Their Brand New, High End Units.

00:51
This bus company recently introduced their brand new high-end units made by Chinese bus company Zhong Tong. The new buses are equipped with mini trays (just like what you see in airplanes), cup holders, comfortable captain chairs and yup, check out the individual tablets! You will definitely be kept entertained since the tablets have music, games, movies etc. You can also use your own USB (either you open your own files or you can charge your smartphones).

Orchid Essentials: Brand Video

01:49
Orchid Essentials is a high quality cannabis company that specializes in manufacturing pen batteries and cartridges. When they approached us, they told us that their main goal for this project was to help change the stigma that surrounds the cannabis community. They wanted us to help them create a personal connection between their company's brand and the highly successful, hard working individuals that use cannabis to aid in their daily lives. To accomplish this, we utilized strategic cinematography, to take the viewer on a journey that showed very hardworking people going about their day. A young business professional, a small business owner, and an elderly couple that enjoy adventure and traveling, to show the consumer that you can be a productive member of our society and still use cannabis to enhance it. Because we were unable to show these individuals actually use this product, we had to get creative with our product placement, and this was the result! If you're looking for a fresh approach to video production, and want to see how data driven production can help improve your business’s online presence, connect with us! http://ironwellproductions.com/connect

I have been building and crafting energy art for over 5 years and have developed my own (Energy Body Battery, Anionizers) trade name for my brand of Orgone. I am the first to incapsulate orgone in copper tubes commercially. I was thrilled when Canadian Copper stamped their CC initials on their caps giving me free branding reinforcement by initializing my name Christopher Chaplin.
