I spent the majority of November of 2018 traveling through the beautiful country of India. In the eighteen days I spent on the ground there, I visited some fascinating historical sites, met some wonderful people, ate some magnificent food, and had magical experiences I will remember for the rest of my life. And I did it all with my buddy Sam from Samuel & Audrey. Subscribe to Sam & Audrey: https://www.youtube.com/user/BackpackingTravelTV After forty-eight hours in Bengaluru, our time in this amazing southern Indian city was coming to an end, but there were exciting adventures in Chennai on the horizon! Come along with me and Sam as we make the journey from Bengaluru to Chennai and try a new food along the way! Subscribe & Click the Bell for 2+ Videos Per Week ► http://bit.ly/DBH-SUB My Film Making Kit ► https://kit.com/davidsbeenhere Our travel journey from our Airbnb began with a 50-minute Uber ride to the Bengaluru airport at four o’clock on a Monday morning. It’s the third-busiest airport in India behind Mumbai and Delhi and first opened in 2008. We arrived at the airport around five (over two hours before our flight) with probably a few thousand other travelers! With our passports and printed tickets ready, we breezed through and got upgraded to premium for 600 rupees, which includes a hot meal on the 55-minute flight, seats near the front, and we wouldn’t have to wait for our luggage at the baggage claim in Chennai. The airport was nice and modern. Sam bought a cappuccino and a white chocolate glazed doughnut while I bought a strong Karnataka iced coffee. While we relaxed and ate, we took some time to recap our Bengaluru experiences with our amazing guides Anashwara and Abshishek and talk about the pros and cons of the city. Our flight time crept up on us as we were vlogging and we rushed to catch our flight. It was on a small plane, which I personally don’t like because you can feel all of the turbulence in them. We got our hot meal – a pair of cucumber, tomato, and cheese sandwiches, as well as a lychee pani for Sam and a nimbu (or lemon) pani for me. The sandwiches weren’t that good and were loaded with Mayo, but we were starving, so they would do. We only spent about 25 minutes in the air and then we were in Chennai! The flight was surprisingly smooth considering our small plane. The Chennai airport was bright and colorful and was a nice welcome to the city. What wasn’t a great welcome was the blistering, humid heat, which slapped us in the face the moment we walked outside even though it was only 8:45 in the morning! While we waited for the Uber XL we requested, I had a hot, earthy, and aromatic filtered coffee with no milk and a lot of sugar and a pair of vegetarian Tamil samosas, which are large pockets of fried dough with a vegetable filling. These had lentils and potatoes inside and they were phenomenal! They were a little spicy, heat-wise, and contained lots of spices as well. After a little confusion following a few Uber XLs that cancelled on me, we finally got a ride to our Airbnb, which took about forty minutes due to a huge traffic jam, but that’s India for you! But we finally arrived just in time to start an adventure-filled day in Chennai! I hope you enjoyed this travel vlog of our journey from Bengaluru to Chennai! Back in November of 2018, I traveled back to India, making it my second trip to the country in less than a year. This time around, I spent 18 days exploring seven completely new cities and discovering more of India’s rich culinary, cultural, and historical wonders. I also got to do it all with my travel buddy Sam from Samuel & Audrey, which made everything even better! Subscribe to Sam & Audrey: https://www.youtube.com/user/BackpackingTravelTV When traveling, you must always prepare for the unexpected and that’s exactly what happened when our time in Chennai was cut short due to an approaching tropical cyclone! So we wouldn’t be stuck in the city during the storm, we decided to make the journey to Kolkata a day early at 5:30 in the morning. Come along with us as we travel from Chennai to Kolkata! Subscribe & Click the Bell for 2+ Videos Per Week ► http://bit.ly/DBH-SUB My Film Making Kit ► https://kit.com/davidsbeenhere After a stressful start to the day that involved several Uber cancellations, we finally got a ride to the airport. While we were a little bummed that we didn’t get three full days in Chennai that we initially planned, we looked back on our time in the city (especially our Marina Beach visit, our trip to a local temple, and the incredible seafood) fondly as we rode to the airport. Plus, it gave us an extra day in Kolkata. After a 15- to 20-minute ride with practically no traffic, we arrived at the Chennai airport but had to do some extra walking because our driver let us out at the wrong place. My luggage was overweight again, but we were upgraded to Premium Economy, which is the same price, gives us more leg room, and provides a hot meal. The airport consisted of one huge terminal. There was also a food court, which had lots of American eateries like Subway and KFC. I got a double espresso at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, while Sam bought a cappuccino and a muffin. The coffee was black and so strong, just the way I like it! Just before we headed out, we met one of Sam’s fans who happened to be at the airport, too. Our flight was on Vistara Airlines, which is a part of Singapore Airlines, which I love. It was our first time flying Premium Economy and it was amazing! The service was great and it was nice to have so much leg room. For our in-flight meal, we went with a multigrain omelet with beans, chicken sausage, a croissant, jam, fruit, and orange juice to have a brief break from northern and southern Indian food. The omelet was great, definitely heavy and fatty, but I needed it because I was starving. I had an after mint afterward, which was a nice palette cleanser. After some turbulence, which we both hate as frequent fliers, we finally landed in Kolkata, the second-to-last city on our seven-city trip. Also known as the City of Joy, Kolkata was founded by the East India Trading Company. Because of its history, there’s a lot of British colonial architecture in the city. It’s the third-largest metro area in India behind Delhi and Mumbai and also has a large Chinese population, so I couldn’t wait to have some Chinese food there! We requested an Uber and took a 45-minute ride through the city, we reached our Airbnb, which is located in a nice, suburban neighborhood on the south end of the city called Lake Gardens, which has tight streets lined with very colorful buildings. We pulled up to our building and met our Airbnb host outside. I couldn’t wait to start our adventures in Kolkata! I hope you enjoyed this video of me and Sam traveling from Chennai to Kolkata! My trip to India in November of 2018 is one of my favorite trips I’ve ever taken in my life. Everything about this country—its people, its history, its architecture, its food—has made me fall in love with it so much that I find myself wanting to go back again and again. This was my second trip to India, which I took with my good friend Sam from Samuel and Audrey, and I’m already planning a third trip for the spring of 2019! Subscribe to Sam & Audrey: https://www.youtube.com/user/BackpackingTravelTV With our time in Chennai coming to an unexpectedly quick end because of an approaching tropical cyclone, I decided to give you guys a quick tour of the Airbnb Sam and I stayed at before we headed off to the airport. Join me as I show you all of the amenities and rooms of our lavish apartment! Subscribe & Click the Bell for 2+ Videos Per Week ► http://bit.ly/DBH-SUB My Film Making Kit ► https://kit.com/davidsbeenhere We started our day at 4 a.m. so we had plenty of time to get out of the city and head to our next destination, Kolkata. While we were in Chennai, Sam and I stayed at a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom luxury apartment in Ganapathy Colony locality in the city center. It’s located in a very nice building with a gate, a car park, and a doorman who gives you your key when you check in. Staying cool in Chennai is key, as it was still 90 degrees even at 4 a.m. during the winter! I took the air-conditioned elevator up to our apartment, which was unit A3 on the third floor. Inside, it’s very modern and spacious, with a nice couch, a small table, and TV in the living room. Just off the living room is a nice dresser that you can use for storage and across from that is the dining room, which contains a table, a closet, an ironing board, and a refrigerator. One of the best things about this apartment is that there is air conditioning in each room, which makes the hot, sweltering weather much more manageable. Next, I give you a look at the master bedroom, which is spacious and contains a big, comfortable queen-sized bed with nice pillows and tons of drawer and closet space for your things, which makes this a great place to spend multiple nights. There’s also a small workstation and a tiny terrace where you can open the windows. It’s my favorite master bedroom of the entire trip so far! Off the master bathroom is a standard Indian bathroom. The great thing about this bathroom compared to the other ones we’ve had in India is that this one has a shower curtain, so you don’t get water all over the rest of the bathroom when you take a shower! There’s also a water heater, a sink with an extended faucet, and a medicine cabinet. The second bedroom is smaller, with a queen-sized, lots of closet space, and a small table where you can work. Just off the bedroom is another standard Indian bathroom that’s actually larger than the one for the master bedroom, and has a door that opens to the living room. Next up is the very modern kitchen, with a stovetop, double sink, cabinets filled with cups and bowls, a water purifier, a microwave, and a washing machine. It’s easily my favorite kitchen we’ve had on our trip so far! Off the kitchen is a nice, little terrace, and outside the kitchen is a small sink where you can wash your hands. Religious hand-washing is essential when you come to India. You have to keep your hands clean! As we wrap up the tour, I take a quick look back at my quick stay in Chennai, including the beautiful sites and attractions we visited as well as the delicious and spicy food we had there, especially the seafood. But now it’s time to look forward to Kolkata! If you liked this luxury apartment tour in Chennai, please give this video a thumbs up and leave me a comment below. Chennai was basically a long stopover to get ourselves closer to the south and to our next destination. We didn't really do much here; we went into the city to explore a bit but we mostly just ate, looked at a few temples and churches, and got as close to the Bay of Bengal as we felt safe doing. They really don't take advantage of their beach front here. We hadn't yet taken advantage of a hotel pool yet so this is where we did it. This was one of the most luxe hotels I've ever stayed in and though I didn't have a chance to use the amazing tub in our room, I have to say that the pool was a great alternative. It was nice to get a bit of relaxation after a strenuous week of travel. Plus, we figured it would be good to rest up before another full and busy week of vacation. visit racheerachh travels for more: https://racheerachhtravels.blogspot.com/2018/03/2-weeks-in-india-24-hours-in-chennai.html Music: 'Silk Road' by Purple Planet (purple-planet.com Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/

Earlier this morning, I received an email from someone telling me about a man named Joseph, who feeds 6,000 birds every single day on his rooftop in Chennai, India. As we were heading to Chennai to conclude our 10-day India road trip, our first stop upon arrival was Joseph's house, where I made this spontaneous video about his life story. In 2004, the state of Tamil Nadu was crushed by a massive tsunami which killed 230,000 people in total. In the aftermath of this natural disaster, a few parakeets showed up on Joseph's rooftop. He would feed them white rice, and they would keep coming back every day. Word spread among the bird community, and now thousands show up every morning & evening to get fed. Joseph pays $35 USD out of pocket every day to buy 75 kilograms of rice, which he carefully lays out in small piles for the birds to eat. He hasn't missed a day in 15 years. Now that's what I call dedication! This man truly has a heart of gold. I can only imagine how many more parakeets will be there the next time I stop by :) Join my travels on Instagram @drewbinsky! There are many reasons why I think India is a must-visit country for serious travelers. The combination of warm and friendly locals, beautiful cultures, stunning architecture, fascinating historical sites, and some of the most mouthwatering food in the world, makes for an incredible place you have to experience for yourself! I took my second trip to India in November of 2018 with my buddy Sam from Samuel & Audrey and it was truly the trip of a lifetime! Subscribe to Sam & Audrey: https://www.youtube.com/user/BackpackingTravelTV Subscribe to Deepak: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCkdjxXQ9seAvByq4LI8OtLQ Day two in Chennai continued with a stop to get some mud coffee, followed by an incredibly spicy Tamil Nadu mutton feast at a local restaurant. Come and join me, Sam, and our friend Deepak as we continue exploring Chennai! Subscribe & Click the Bell for 2+ Videos Per Week ► http://bit.ly/DBH-SUB My Film Making Kit ► https://kit.com/davidsbeenhere We started off at Mud Koffee, a popular place in Chennai where the coffee is brewed in a metal container with the help of heated sand. A secret ingredient is added to the coffee and then it’s served in a cup made of mud! It was incredible and was almost like hot chocolate! Next, it was time for dinner at Thambi Vilas, which has been open since 1959 and has a very old-school flair inside. We started with a Goli Soda, which was like lychee-flavored water. It was fantastic! For dinner, we ordered 20 dishes including mutton, fish, and biryanis, most of which I’d never tried before! I couldn’t wait to dive in! I started with some prawns, which were served in a masala-like curry with curry leaves. They were amazing! The next food I tried was the chicken leg, which was tender, juicy, and a little fatty and the masala on it was incredible. I followed that with the fried mutton brain, which is hot and kind of gelatinous, and full of masala and curry leaves. It’s my favorite dish in Chennai! Next up was the mutton intestines, which is also gelatinous and comes in a delicious, spicy masala with curry leaves. I’m fully convinced you can eat any part of the mutton animal and make it taste good! This dish, along with the brain, blew my mind! Next, I tried the egg khalakki, which is a scrambled egg dish with mutton sauce. It was great! I followed that with small, crispy pieces of spicy calamari with onion. It was phenomenal! I love squid and this dish did not disappoint at all! The chest of the mutton was next. It was juicy and fatty and the best mutton I’ve ever had! After that were fried mutton balls covered in spices, which were soft and mushy with lots of complex flavors. Then we went with the Nethili Fish Fry, a small, fried fish with a lot of spices. They had bones in them, but because the fish are so small, they go down easily. Next was mutton nalli, which was so meaty and flavorful that I couldn’t help but enjoy it with my eyes closed! Every dish had different spices on it and I couldn’t get over how varied and amazing they all were! The Chicken Saalna was next, which is tender, spicy chicken with a paratha that’s soaked in gravy. I loved it! Then I had the Mutton Saalna, which was even better! It even topped the brain and intestines for me! Then I dove into the Mutton Chukka, which was soft and buttery, with a consistency almost like liver. Next was the Kothu Parotta, which was like turkey stuffing, followed by spicy fried cauliflower. It was easily my favorite cauliflower dish! Then I tried the mutton dosa, a gigantic mutton patty with egg and a dosa underneath. It was almost like a crab cake! Chicken Kappa was next, which is a stuffed, layered crepe, with both chicken and mutton gravies. It was so good! I followed that with a noodle cake with mutton gravy, which was stringy but so flavorful, and mutton biryani, which had lots of little bones in it with yogurt-covered onions which helped calm down my burning mouth! We wrapped up our meal with elaneer cake, which is a thick, delicious coconut pudding that tastes exactly like coconut meat and had a layer of gelatin on the bottom, which made for a really nice contrast. It was a phenomenal way to end this spicy mutton feast! I hope you enjoyed our sumptuous and spicy mutton feast! If you did, please give this video a thumbs up and leave me a comment below. I never cease to be amazed by the wonders of India. There’s a new adventure at every turn in this country and lots of amazingly kind locals who are willing to take time out of their day to guide you through them. It’s truly a special place and it’s one of the reasons why I love it so much. My buddy Sam from Samuel & Audrey joined me for an epic, 18-day tour of the country in November of 2018. He’s the perfect person to go on adventures like this with! Subscribe to Sam & Audrey: https://www.youtube.com/user/BackpackingTravelTV Subscribe to Deepak: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCkdjxXQ9seAvByq4LI8OtLQ Our second day in Chennai continued with some epic southern Indian seafood and a visit to Madras Lighthouse. It was my first time having seafood in India and I could not wait! Come and join me, Sam, and our friend Deepak as we continue exploring Chennai! Subscribe & Click the Bell for 2+ Videos Per Week ► http://bit.ly/DBH-SUB My Film Making Kit ► https://kit.com/davidsbeenhere Our food adventure began at a famous food stall on Marina Beach called Sundari Akka Kadai. Everything served here is super fresh and was caught by the local fishermen that morning. The first thing we ordered was fish fry, prawn gravy, rice, eggplant, and boiled eggs. There was no seating left, so I ate standing up on the beach! The fish was bathed in a buttery curry that wasn’t too spicy at first, but it snuck up on me later. The prawns were fantastic with the curry and were the star of the show, and the fish was super meaty. Just be careful of the bones – there were a lot of them! This was one of the best seafood meals I’ve had anywhere in the world! After cleaning my hands, I got some vancharam fry (a fried fish) and mutton (my rice fell to the ground). The mutton had a nice curry on it and was super tender and fatty. I liked it even better than the prawns! The vancharam fry had lots of spices on it and was perfectly cooked and extremely salty. Even the dogs love it! Next up was some fried squid with curries and onion at the stall next door. It was heavenly! So rich in flavor with a nice crunch. Not only was it my favorite dish of the day, it was my favorite squid dish of all-time! Our next stop was a fruit stand so we could cool down with some fresh watermelon for Sam and papaya for me. We followed that up with coconut water from a freshly cut coconut. It was so refreshing and exactly what I needed to refuel and rehydrate on this blistering 95-degree day in Chennai! Then the guy cut open the coconut so we could eat the meat inside. It was spongy and so delicious! Our final stop was Chennai Lighthouse, also known as Madras Lighthouse, which was built in 1977 and is 46 meters tall. We rode the elevator to the lookout point at the top and got some stunning views of the city, including Marina Beach, the ocean, the cricket stadium, the fishermen housing I first saw the day before, and much more. You have to come here whenever you visit Chennai! I hope you enjoyed our southern Indian seafood excursion and our Madras Lighthouse visit! Instagram................ https://instagram.com/praveenET Twitter...................... https://twitter.com/PraveenMohanET Facebook.............. https://www.facebook.com/praveenmohanfans Website.................... https://www.phenomenalplace.com Hey guys, today we are going to look at an extraordinary artifact known as "Magic Krishna" , this is currently displayed at the Chennai Museum in India. This weird looking item is about 300 years old, and it looks like it is made of plastic, but is made completely out of clay. The specialty of this container is that, it defies the law of gravity and the laws of physics. Now, I am going to demonstrate how this jar defies the laws of nature. On the bottom, we can clearly see that there is a hole right at the center and if you pour water on the top, the water should normally drain through the bottom hole. However, when we pour water at the top, you can see that the water does not leak through the bottom hole. Instead, the water level slowly rises as you pour more water, and once the water touches the feet of this idol, the water somehow magically starts draining through the bottom hole. But it does not stop, the entire water completely drains out of the container. This does not make any sense at all, this defies the laws of nature. Normally, when there is a hole at the bottom, the water should begin draining immediately as we pour water on the top. This will happen due to gravity, but this is an anti-gravity jar, so the water doesn't come out through the hole. And here is the second problem: the water doesn't drain even when we fill it halfway, and it appears as though it begins draining as we add more and more weight of water. If this is the case, the hole must stop draining as the water comes down to half level. We expect that only a certain amount of water would drain. But somehow, when the water touches the idol's feet, the water begins draining and it drains out everything completely. How does this happen? Is this some kind of a magic jar? Is this why it is safely kept behind glass doors in a Museum? Yes, it is in fact a Magic Jar, and this is the idol of Lord Krishna, a Magical Indian God. Archeologists confirm that this is a rare artifact, and only one such container exists in all of India. In ancient times, magic jars like these were used in many temples and an interesting story was told while giving a demonstration and I am going to tell you that story now. About 5000 years ago, Lord Krishna was born, and his uncle wanted to kill him immediately. So in an attempt to save his life, baby Krishna was secretly taken away by his father, who decided to carry him across the river Yamuna. As his father was crossing the river, the water level began rising. His Father begged the river to subside, but the water level kept on rising. But when the river Yamuna finally touched Lord Krishna's feet, it completely drained out and became dry, so the Father and Son could cross the river safely. The river Yamuna later revealed that it wanted to desperately touch Lord Krishna's feet and get his blessings. So, this is why the water level keeps rising until it touches Krishna's feet and once it touches his feet, everything will drain out. On the top, I have built a similar cylindrical structure and I have glued an idol of Lord Krishna, hoping that the water will behave similarly. And as I keep pouring water, the water does not drain through the bottom hole, because water naturally wants to touch Krishna's feet but watch carefully when the water touches Lord Krishna's feet, all the water begins magically draining out, leaving the container empty. Now, the key to this is hidden underneath this cylinder, it does not have a complex valve system or anything like that, all we need is a U-tube or a U-bend set up inside the container. One of the bends fits into the hole , and the other leg is set up very close to the floor of the tank. Now, if I pour water, nothing happens until the water touches the bend, water will not drain through the bottom hole. But once that level is reached, which is where the Krishna's feet would be strategically placed, the water will begin draining, but it won't stop until everything gets completely drained out. Scientists call this a Siphon. What you saw in the museum was only about 300 years old, but it is believed that the very first magic jar with the same principle was created at the time of Krishna, who lived about 5000 years ago. Ancient India is known for making these anti-gravity or magic containers - in a previous video I showed you another jar which defies the law of gravity, it is known as Karigiri Jar. It does not have a mouth but it has holes on both top and bottom, but the water does not come out through the top or bottom holes, you can only get the water out through the designated spout. In the western world, a container similar to the 'Magic Krishna' was designed about 2500 years ago, by Pythagoras. #Hinduism #India #Search4Truth

When British Airways purchased the new 787 aircraft they had the chance to fix some of the serious issues with the design of their business class seats....did they take this opportunity?? Well, no. On this flight review I cover the excellent British Airways first class lounge at Heathrow Terminal 5. I then move to to boarding, take off, the BA business class cabin, the unique British Airways business class seat, the inflight service, crew, meals amenities kit and the entertainment system. This flight review was primarily filmed on BA from London Heathrow to Cairo, Egypt. However some of the footage is also from a flight from Cairo to Heathrow one week earlier. For more flight reviews including British Airways 747, Qatar, Qantas, Emirates, Cathay Pacific, Etihad, Turkish Airlines, LATAM and Baltic Air please check out my channel. THE HUGE, elaborately decorated edifice of the chariot of Sri Kapaleeswarar, the presiding deity of Mylapore, travels a metre or two, pulled by a thick rope. There is a roar as thousands of enthusiastic volunteers pull the chariot. One can hear the burst of clapping from bystanders assembled on either side of the street. The chariot has just negotiated a tricky corner and the crowd has every reason to rejoice, apart from the sheer joy of being present on such an occasion. The car festival of the Sri Kapaleeswarar Temple has been drawing increasing crowds over the past few years. Although numerous festivals are celebrated around the same time at other Shiva temples across the State, such as the Ekambaranathar temple at Kanchipuram or the Thiruvanaikaval temple at Tiruchi, Mylapore's car festival is special because it is close to the heart of Chennai — our own outing for a day with our Lord. It is that time of year when Mylapore reverts to its old village status, and the streets around the temple come alive with vendors selling everything, from long green cucumbers to terracotta pots, brightly coloured plastic toys and many other things. Traffic is diverted several days in advance from the roads around the temple tank, and Police and Fire services are on standby on the appointed day. Since crowds have been swelling every year, such simple precautions are necessary. People begin gathering on both sides of the road and selecting vantage points to watch the procession of the temple chariot being pulled. A crate, a raised shop front, the shoulders of an indulgent father, all these are satisfactory perches. Terraces, roofs and balconies of the buildings lining the Mada Street are already full. Amongst the crowd, one is amused to see a small boy smartly salute a policeman in uniform! Perhaps it is only on occasions like these that the law enforcers get their due.

Singhik View Point, Mangan You will get to see beautiful scenic view from this point. We went there in Monsoon weather we could not see the Mt. Kanchenjunga, otherwise from this point, Mount kanchenjunga can be seen clearly. We did this journey through a local travel agency, its name is Tamu travels… Lalit is the owner: Tamu Tour and travels Development area, Gangtok east Sikkim. http://www.tamutourandtreks.com/ 9832564013 9002069916. This journey from Gangtok to North Sikkim then west and south Sikkim for us was about 7 nights and 8 days.. It costed us Rs 35k… 35k is only for taxi for 8 days. Other costs are extra. This 8 day journey is for North, south and west Sikkim. We paid Rs 2500 for taxi per day in Gangtok, that was for 8 hours.. they charge extra if you hire beyond 8 hours.. we virtually ended up paying about Rs 3300 to 3500 per day for local sight seeing bcoz we had taxi with full for full day early morning to late evening. This complete complete journey from Gangtok to Lachen in North sikkim took us about 13 hours…. Reason it took time was bcoz we stopped for food, shoot took time plus every 30 minutes we took break to see and enjoy the beauty… If you want to plan this journey, i will suggest you to get your bookings done properly because it involves permit. We did this journey during last week of June 2018, which is an off season time… Important note for this journey: Avoid rainy season. Travel in either feb or March or in oct and nov to enjoy sikkim the most. Check with your travel agent on the fact whether can travel to North sikkim or not because some of the routes are closed because of snow. Cost for minimum low cost travel two and a half days in Gangtok will be about Rs 11000 - details in description of previous episodes of Gangtok: Taxi cost for travel to North or other regions of Sikkim: Rs 3500 per day, for certain cost moment you are 2 people cost goes high. for example i have put 400 fare from siliguri to Gangtok for one person so you have to adjust if you are two. Food Rs 1500 hotel: Rs 2000 For every day that you travel in Sikkim minimum cost will be Rs 7000. North sikkim i don't think you can travel by bus, i am not sure, suggest check with some one else...but yes you can travel to other districts of sikkim by bus, check details with tourism office in MG marg Gangtok for details. MG marg is the place which is heart of Gangtok, try taking a hotel near MG marg. Sikkim is over all expensive, so be sure on costs bcoz your budgets can over shoot, especially if you are going in peak season. Cost that you are see are of off season, during season every thing is atleast 30 percent higher on cost... If you have any experience of sikkim travel, do share that in comments below. I would look forward to hear back from you in this regard. Thanks Harish bali
