Apply for a free Style Call and download the 10 Style Principles Manual - http://www.mensfashionmagazine.com/limited Download our latest edition from: http://www.mensfashionmagazine.com In this video, we show you how to tie a tie. It sounds simple, but tieing a tie is often done incorrectly but most men. They put too much effort in, and normally forget the smaller details. The simplest tie knots always work best. We show you 3 tie knots. The first knot is the Kent Knot - One that isn't that popular, but it's a tie knot that works extremely well with knitted ties. The second knot we show you is the four in hand... one of the most popular tie knots. It's the same as a school boy knot, and one you probably already know how to do. Focus on the dimple, and keep the knot slim. The third knot we show is the Half Windsor, it's a formal knot which takes a little bit more effort. Again, focus on the shape of the knot and apply a dimple. Let us know what you think! What tie knot do you prefer? The Kent, The Four In Hand or The Half Windsor? I hope you enjoy our video on how to tie a tie in an easy way. Like what you see? Don't forget to share: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5wL3Zqnc79w

It sounds simple, but we get a lot of guys asking us of quick, but stylish ways to roll up shirt sleeves. The first one is a favourite, with a simple roll which takes no time at all. It offers a relaxed look, and works on both casual and formal shirts. The second roll is a bit more time consuming but it offers a neat roll. This works a lot better with formal shirts, and works best rolled up below the elbow. The third roll is again more relaxed, the same as the second but this time you roll it with the sleeve button undone. This works best for guys with bigger forearms. The fourth and final roll is perfect for casual looks. It works best rolled up above the elbow, and works well with casual shirts. Hope you enjoy the video, do let us know what videos you'd like us to create by emailing [email protected] Now you know how to roll up your shirt sleeves! Shot at http://www.ohanley.co.uk
How To Fold A Pocket Square | 4 Simple But Stylish Pocket Square Folds

Apply for a free Style Call and download the 10 Style Principles Manual - http://www.mensfashionmagazine.com/limited See more fashion tips and style advice at: www.mensfashionmagazine.com In this video, MFM's own Stephen Kelly walks you through 4 simple to achieve folds. It was important for us to put together a video of pocket square folds you can do without much effort. Jacket by Without Prejudice - www.withoutprejudice.com Shirt by Guy Field Tie by Drakes Fold 1: The Square Fold This is a real classic, a classic Don Draper tends to use in Mad Men. It's perfect with suiting, and a white cotton pocket square works best for this. Fold 2: The Puff Fold Perfect for a casual look, this works with most pocket handkerchiefs. It's again really easy to do, and doesn't take a lot of effort to achieve. Sometimes the less effort applied creates a better outcome. Fold 3: The Dandy This is for the guys who want to create a statement. Use a silk square for this one, and go for print. Decide how much of a statement you want to make by adjusting accordingly in your pocket. Fold 4: The Rolled Puff An alternative of the second fold, this is a favourite of ours. It's a combination of the elegance the square fold offers, but it carries a more casual element like the puff fold. Choosing a good square is very important, and then use this video to help you with the folds. Many guys often ask us how to fold a pocket square, and we hope this helps. MFM TIP: Sometimes it's all about the arrangement once the pocket square is in your pocket. Re-arrange to suit, and decide how subtle or how much of a statement you want to make with it. The Importance Of Good Shoes For Men

02:35
Apply for a free Style Call and download the 10 Style Principles Manual - http://www.mensfashionmagazine.com/limited Shoes are important for men, and can transform a look - Stephen Kelly and MFM shows you how: http://www.mensfashionmagazine.com In this video, we wanted to visually show you the difference between good and bad men's shoes. Taken a really basic look of t-shirt and jeans, the first look shows you how NOT to do it. With battered, old, cheap looking white sneakers. The second choice is the brogue, which makes the look a lot better. Just the simple addition of a good shoe, can transform the look as this look shows. The third shoe is the loafer, which bridges the gap between formal and casual. Perfect for summer and winter, we've gone for a classic dark brown, leather loafer. The fourth is more formal, and dresses the look up completely. The difference between the first and fourth look is HUGE, and really shows you how important good shoes are for men. Get The Look: Grey On Grey Tailoring

00:59
Apply for a free Style Call and download the 10 Style Principles Manual - http://www.mensfashionmagazine.com/limited Grey on Grey tailoring is a classic, and we show you how to wear it: http://www.mensfashionmagazine.com Sometimes simplicity is the best ways to enhance style, and overcomplicating colour combinations is a mistake a lot of guys make. With London Collections: Men showcasing some fine tailoring, it was great to see the tonal grey on grey combination make it onto a few catwalks. In partnership with Lynx, we wanted to walk you through the best way to achieve this trend for the up and coming season. From The Catwalks E-Tautz, Hardy Amies, Tiger of Sweden and Gieves & Hawkes led the way with the trend, and they all had their own take. To The Street Our advice would be to mix up textures, mix up patterns and keep the tailoring as simple and as classic as possible. Hopefully the video has given you inspiration to pull off this look, but let us know what you think of the trend. How would you pull it off? In partnership with http://www.lynxeffect.com

01:42
Apply for a free Style Call and download the 10 Style Principles Manual - http://www.mensfashionmagazine.com/limited For more men's style and fashion, check out www.mensfashionmagazine.com In this video, MFM and Stephen Kelly break down the three piece suit. The three piece suit is an essential in any mans wardrobe, and we've chosen this Made To Measure navy suit from Reiss. In look 1, the obvious choice is to wear the whole 3 piece suit together. We've gone for a real formal look, with a shirt and tie combination to suit. Look 2 is perfect for a date or a night out. It's a great smart/casual look, with the formal trousers making it smart, and the polo shirt balancing out the casualness. This is a favourite look of ours. Look 3 is more formal, and this time we've taken the waistcoat. Paired with some denim jeans, a shirt, tie, and an overcoat this is perfect office attire. You can dress it down with a more casual jacket if you wanted... Look 4 is again, perfect for a night out. The blazer and pocket square add elegance, with the jeans and t-shirt adding a casual element. It looks smart, but it doesn't leave you looking overdressed. These 4 looks just scratch the surface of what you can do with just 1, three piece suit. Hope you enjoy the video, let us know what you think in the comments below...

01:02
Apply for a free Style Call and download the 10 Style Principles Manual - http://www.mensfashionmagazine.com/limited MFM and Lynx demonstrate how to get the 'Slick Back' hairstyle - http://www.mensfashionmagazine.com After the recent menswear collections on show at London, Milan and Paris, it's good to see a classic, easily manageable hairstyle trend take the forefront. With many designers opting for slick back hair on the catwalks, us alongside Lynx wanted to show you how to achieve this hairstyle. Working best with medium to long length hair, it's an easy to achieve look and works with both formal and casual attire. You want to use a product which offers a shine finish, and we've opted for the Lynx Clean Cut Look wax. 1. The Cut You want to keep it neat and tidy around the sides and back, and keep the length even on top. 2. Preparation Wash the hair through thoroughly and brush the hair backwards. Blow drying is the most important thing here, you want to blow dry the hair backwards whilst brushing. 3. Product Rub the product into your hand, and apply evenly through the hair. Using your fingers, run it through your hair backwards and tidy the sides and back. Opt for a shine wax. We used the Lynx Clean Cut defining wax. 4. The End Result A real classic look, which is neat and easy to manage. Read more at: http://www.mensfashionmagazine.com/aw15-trend-slick-back-hair Lynx: http://www.lynxeffect.com

How To Wear Print | 3 Ways To Wear With Mens Fashion Magazine

02:28
Apply for a free Style Call and download the 10 Style Principles Manual - http://www.mensfashionmagazine.com/limited Mens Fashion Magazine's Stephen Kelly and Adam Titchener walk you through 3 ways to wear print in this video. Want more style advice? Visit us at: http://www.mensfashionmagzine.com Breaking down three looks, we show you three different ways to tackle print this season. Look 1: Starting with the first look, we tone down a pair of printed trousers with a navy blazer, white shirt and grey tie. The brown penny loafers again tone down the trouser, and we've opted with sockless for that summer feel. Look 2: This look is more casual, pairing an unstructured blazer with a printed shirt. It's a subtle print, which means it creates less of a statement than the other looks. The chinos again offer a laid back casual feel, and we've opted for a sneaker. Look 3: A favourite of ours, the printed blazer really creates a statement. The shirt adds a formal edge, but opting for no tie creates more of a laid back feel. The dark denim jeans again create a casual element, and the rubber soled shoes finish the look. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nsru5PB0TyI
