Autumn Treat Box Assembly--Stampin' Up! 2016

31:45
This is Part 2 of a short series on making an Autumn Treat Box from start to finish. If you haven't seen Part 1, you can check that out here: https://youtu.be/uXDD3y38ZFY In Part 2, I show the results of my twine dyeing and assemble everything! While these videos combined are close to an hour, if you're working assembly line style, you can make several of these little gifts of thanks very quickly. I hope you enjoy! :-)
Autumn Treat Box Prep and Thank You--Stampin' Up! 2016

18:12
This is a Thank You to all of my new subscribers as well as the first in a short series where we'll be working towards a finished Autumn Treat Box perfect for giving to friends and family to let them know how grateful you are for them. It's also a bit of a peek into how I approach creating a project that requires I make some of the materials and duplicate the end results. I briefly go over setting a color palette, having a stash of shapes at the ready for embellishments, my process for dyeing Thick White Baker's Twine and using the Wondrous Wreath stamp set in an unexpected way to create Fall themed paper! Hope you enjoy!
Star of Light Christmas Card--Holiday Catalog 2016--Stampin' Up!

26:48
Here is a Christmas card (actually, by the end of this video, I had a few of them! Ha ha) I made using my favorite stamp set from the Holiday 2016 Catalog from Stampin' Up! I used the Star of Light Stamps, as well as a stamp made using the Starlight Thinlits and this technique from a previous video: https://youtu.be/lEkNMMk0Lgw I apologize that I still have the sniffles. I actually *tried* to keep myself from sniffling, but I think that made it worse because then I was just self conscious about it. Lol Lord willing, I will be at my 100% better state for my next video. :-) If you have any questions on any of the steps, techniques or products used, please feel free to ask! Have a great day!
Stretch Those Dies! Stampin' Up! 2016

06:02
Make the most out of your investment into metal dies by using them to create stamps! These stamps work great on their own or as nice additions to any coordinating stamp sets that go with each set of dies. You can store them on acrylic blocks for quick use, permanently mount them to wooden or thick foam blocks, or keep them on a sheet of acetate and have a dedicated block to use for them as needed. These stamps are foam, so they do pick up a LOT of ink--just be prepared for that when you go to clean them, or do what I do and stamp off several times onto a sheet of paper that you can cut the images out of for use later. :-) One last recommendation, use a glossy type of adhesive to glue the foam backers to the detailed foam pieces. It doesn't break down the way white glues do with the liquid of the ink. If you have any questions, let me know!

Where Have I Been??? Christmas Card Flip Through--Stampin' Up! 2016

10:35
Hey, everyone! Welcome back to my channel. I apologize for my absence. It wasn't by choice, but it is what it is. In life, we can plan as much as we like, but only the Lord's will is what comes to pass. As I mentioned in the video, there are a several videos that I'm linking to that were either inspiration for some of my cards or that are tutorials I've already posted. :-) Very regrettably, I totally overlooked mentioning in my video the inspiration for one of my most unique cards--Pink Christmas! I got the inspiration from Ruth Trice who runs the channel Artful Stampin'. She's truly a lovely and extremely talented person, so I will link her video below as well and encourage you to check it out, too! I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year! Hopefully we'll be back crafting together very soon. :-) Dawn's Video: https://youtu.be/_617JioRX3o Ruth's Video: https://youtu.be/AfBXbuLVXuU My Video Making Stamps Using Dies: https://youtu.be/lEkNMMk0Lgw My "This Christmas" Christmas Card Video: https://youtu.be/AVa48yUvIhs My "Star of Light" Video: https://youtu.be/q6dZVX-Yr0Y
